No breakfast was available and the room was too small to prepare any food. However the location was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hot spa right outside the front with a view of the village street was fun if you like to see whats happening and whos passing by. Not good if you value privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast would have been nice and a guest lounge and games room with cooking facilities would make this a perfect place to stay.

Loved the funky style but mainly we enjoyed a large room, super comfy bed and very clean, modern bathroom.

As no breakfast is provided and this is a mountain resort village with only one local shop, options were very limited for breakfast. We really needed either breakfast or minimal crockery just to make our own from the shop. There is a coffee machine and fridge but nothing else (kettle, cutlery, crockery) so not even a bowl of cereal was possible. Also be aware the shop closes at 18.00 and after that there is nothing at all without a long drive back to Vernon.

Loved the location and how it was close to everything. The check in was quick and easy and they let us check in early which was amazing as we had our 3 month old baby and needed a place to hang out with her. The hot tub was great and loved how it was outside overlooking the village. TV could have been bigger hit who’s watching a lot of TV at the hill?

The location was great, right in the centre of the village, ski in ski out. Less than 2 mins from the gondi. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfy. The decor was a little tacky but overall it contributed to the good vibe of the place. The parking was right next to the hotel. Staff were friendly. Also there was a hot tub!

I would've liked breakfast included (no breakfast option in the hotel). Plus the hotel restaurant was closed (Tues, Wed) when I was staying there so I wasn't able to use my discount which was a shame. Maybe a free sticker or a discount on the memorabilia could've been a nice way to make up for this!

The location was absolutely amazing! The staff were very helpful and the room was incredibly comfortable. I don’t often use a hotel bath but this was so clean, I loved it! Having access to a hot tub as well as a storage room for my ski gear was a great addition.

It would’ve been great to have a microwave in the room (in addition to the coffee maker/kettle and fridge). It would’ve allowed a bit more flexibility if you didn’t want to eat out every night nor wanted to wander down to the lobby in your pjs.

The room I was in was clean, comfortable and furnished well. The hotel itself is right in the heart of all of the restaurants and shops, it was in a great location and has its own car park. I’d definitely stay here again :)

Just be mindful if you need groceries you will have to get them from Vernon which is about a 30 min drive from Silver Star (depending on how long you are staying, I believe Walmart deliver to the area). A taxi from Silver Star to Vernon is ~ $60.

No breakfast offered at the Bulldog inn

As an ex Firefighter, Fire Safety officer. The Fire door from the reception area in yo the corridor with the bedrooms should not be permanently wedged open as it was during our stay and looked like it was a permanent thing.

The location was excellent and the room was well laid out and comfortable. One of the staff was particularly friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our bags safely prior to check in.

Some basic crockery, cutlery and wine glasses would have been nice to have in place rather than needing to ask for these items.

Cheapest place to stay on a mountain, which is super convenient when travelling on a budget. Staff were all lovey, bed was comfy and room was well sized.

Didn't have a shower curtain in my bathroom? And the ledge on my window was broken and nearly falling off, but other than that everything seemed okay. Would stay again

ski from the door, clean beds, lots of room for kids to sleep and play, separate room and bathroom for kitchen/dinning area and sleeping area.

Kitchen could be better supplied with better and cleaner cooking tools (pots, pans). For example, the pans looked well beaten up.
