Hotel has a rustic charm. Easy access to a pub downstairs. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the breakfast takeaway selections in the hallway although very simple were still better than nothing. Lots of options for food, bakeries, and groceries all within walking distance was nice.

Room had a connecting door and could hear every conversation in the next room. Kindly enough our neighbors lowered their voices after realizing we were checked in, but it was very uncomfortable both ways throughout the stay. There’s also some type of giant turbine or generator that runs all day long which could be heard from the location of our room.

Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is poor. The food is mediocre and not worth what is being charged, Serving staff are welcoming and attentive although on our last visit it was annoying to be told that only one "chef" was working only after we had waited over an hour for our very basic food. To be avoided unless improvements are made and it would help if a proper breakfast facility were set up.

Loved the little day bed in front of the window, so relaxing. Like that the bar/restaurant was attached to the hotel, easy to go for dinner.

The breakfast was pretty subpar. The manager apologized and took 10% off our bill. I think if you are going to have breakfast included then have something descent. It doesn't have to be a cooked meal, but some bagels, muffins and croissants and fruit would be nice.

Excellent bar with good quality and good value bar food. Beer brewed on the premises. Warm and comfortable room with pleasant en-suite bathroom. Free on site parking. Great cues from front of Inn.

Decor in room was a little “tired”. Bar restaurant very busy at peak times but tended to shut quite early by UK standards. I was unable to extended my stay by one day when my plans changed.

Our room looked out over the back not what we understood a 'mountain room' as booked would be. No one told us about the sauna, we discovered it on our last night!

Cozy room with a reading nook area. Excellent view out the main window. Very quiet and comfortable. We stayed for one night before heading in to the Scandinavian spa. Epic mini trip. Also, the food at the restaurant & the beers were incredible. Would definitely do the trip again! Didn't use the sauna, but it looked great!

Great location next to the sound and brewery as well. We enjoyed a tasty drink during our stay there. The room was comfortable for us!

There isnt AC in the room and the room was on the smaller size but the fan made it easier to relax in the afternoon, when it was much hotter.

The room was very cozy and clean. The view out our window was spectacular. Parking was easy, the staff was was knowledgeable and very friendly. It was so much nicer than staying at a big chain hotel if you are looking for an experience rather than just somewhere to sleep.

I think the Pub may be short staffed as it took awhile to get some service, and it was VERY busy. But…saying that, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was also very good.

Room was comfortable and was stocked with coffee, water, etc. Proximity to the pub downstairs was very convenient and the view from the pub of the Chief was amazing. The free 'pick and choose' breakfast had juice and pastries and was appreciated.
