My room was an actual suite, with a living room (with a fridge and coffemaker) and bathroom separated by a door from a spacious bedroom. The suite was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful. Wifi connection was nice and fast. The inn is very close to the main attractions of Tofino but still in a quiet and wooded spot. The beds was very comfortable. This may be common in Tofino and surrounding area, but I was impressed by the beautiful old growth wood lining the shower walls. Clearly it was harvested long ago, not recently.

The window in the bedroom does not open. I got around this by opening the living-room window and keeping the bedroom door open. The noise from a person walking above my suite was clearly heard. This did not bother me since it was very quiet at night.

shortly after reserving, the property owner sent a helpful message regarding roadwork to Tofino. they didn't have to do that, but it was a helpful tip and made a good first impression. we unexpectedly checked in late, after the office had already closed. the owner sent me a text, letting me know she'd left our room unlocked for us. again, kind, considerate and helpful. a humble motel, nicely upgraded. comfortable beds, clean, good coffee supply for the morning. cute porches in front of the ground floor rooms. amazing views and genuinely pet friendly. owner was very nice and lives on the premises so it has a homey feel. expensive, but, hey it's 2022 in Tofino.

Friendly staff and quiet. The area has a nice trail for walking and biking. Sorounding has lots of trailers, and some are old. It's just park there, and it seems nobody has been using it for a long time. ...

For the money I paid I'm expecting something. Like view I see around. It's good in the picture but not really you are expecting.

It is a rustic motel with all of the modern conveniences, even a fan in each of the sitting area and bedroom. I liked that there weren't frivolous extras like pens or a bunch of brochures. They are pet friendly and people friendly! There was a nice grassy area to take the dogs out and it was in front of a spectacular view.

Other than an industrial-sized, bear-resistant garbage bin, I didn't see an outside garbage to dispose of dog bags, but I could have missed it.

The owner was super helpful! She gave us recommendations for food and was very knowledgeable about the area. The inn is so adorable, with a great view and a few cats running around that were super friendly (not sure if they live there but it was definitely a bonus!)

Spiders! Obviously this isn’t totally preventable, but there were huge spiderwebs on our door that i feel like could’ve been cleared.

Rooms were freshly painted and newly renovated. Bed was comfortable with crisp linens. I loved that they provided a water kettle for us tea drinkers. Parking was easy. Location situated between downtown and beaches. Great view from the deck. The manager offered for us to use the BBQ.

At the end of the day it’s a motel - I know it’s Tofino but still felt like a lot to pay for what it was - supply and demand I guess 🤷‍♂️

Accommodation prices in Tofino are very high compared to other places we stayed on the island last week but I guess it’s high season.

A great little inn in a beach town. The place is about 1 mile from the main part of Tofino and about ½ way between the various beaches on the area. Recently remodeled and the beds were extremely comfortable. Definitely would recommend this place.

Price was really high for a room that size (400/night) in a motel with no extra services (gym, pool, room service, etc)
