The location is excellent. You don't need a car. You can walk or take public transportation everywhere. The room was very comfortable and having a kitchen was a bonus. There's a grocery store about 1 1/2 blocks away.

Staff was AWESOME and super accommodating. And pleasant surprise there is a HEATED pool on site! This should be advertised. GREAT location, close to English Bay (walking distance) and all other shores. Great places to eat surround the property and all various price ranges. Esp. with a organic market on the same block & a few doors down is a 24/7 Circle-K, very easy to supply up for the day or evening.

Only thing I have to say that was more surprising than disappointing is the room size was on the "small'ish" size. Had a different expectation from the photos provided.

The views from the room were incredible! You are right in the heart of the gay neighborhood of Vancouver and just a few blocks from the bay. The room was very spacious and well-maintained! The front desk staff were very friendly and willing to help. The building was being renovated while I was staying there, but the staff were very communicative about the work being done and ensured it was only done during the day to minimize the noise level at night and in the early morning.

The parking lot was underneath the building and the street to access it is a bit challenging, but the staff gave great directions on how to get in and out of the garage. You also need a key card to get down to the parking garage after check-out but the front desk staff made a new card since I was trying to go down after my check-out time.

We reserved one of the two X - large penthouse Suites..DID NOT disappoint!!!.Having stayed @ The Hotel many times before, this was " the creme de la creme".. Stunning view of the ocean and West End, mountains etc.. Worth every $$$. Cheers, a fan of this Hotel .

Not much.. It was the best stay ever @ this Hotel to be sure!@.

We were upgraded to penthouse suite so wonderful views and lots of space. Hot tub /double bath good fun too. Great location in the heart of the queer community and as it was pride weekend 6-9 August there was lots to see/ hear. Teenagers really enjoyed it too. Kids were on floor 8 in a small but great little appt. With a kitchenette and washer/dryer.

They are renovating which didn’t affect us but may others. They’ve done floors 1-9. Pool is finished and open.

It is actually 1 bedroom apartment with small living room, bedroom, kitchen, dishwasher, etc, not just a hotel room. The room was clean and good. The staff was very nice and they even allowed me to check-in earlier, which was very handy. Overall good experience

The only thing I don’t like - wifi wasn’t working from the bedroom, one needs to be near the corridor to catch the good signal. Probably because the room was in the end, and router was far.

Heating didn't work and first 3 hours checking in the room the TV didn't work

First and foremost, good staff members. Second, the room was okay at best. I did enjoy the kitchen and washer dryer combo. I did enjoy the view and the bed. Other than that, the price was really great. The location was amazing! Near restaurants and city centre!

The smell around the hallway was very unpleasant. The sofa was a little stained. Other than that, that was pretty much it.

It was clean, great location and perfect for a little get away! The servers at the restaurant were not that attentive but in the hotel they were amazing

the staff were amazing and the renovations were pretty stellar compared to how it used to be a few years back. the added security was also a nice touch.
