Stay was good and had a good experience

We were in 4th Floor and had to pick up bags and go up all the way to the 4th floor which made us tired and we had to do it 3 times as we have been in and out of hotel. But I understand it was not hotel fault as the elevators were out of service due to flooding in NS The ONLY THINGS we did not appreciate is We told the staff at the time of Check in we have booked Airbnb in Cape Breton and asked him to if we can check out on that specific day of our visit at Cape Breton and check in again when we are back to Halifax He said yea and when we wanted to check out they told its a 24 hour policy - THIS 24 HOUR POLICY THAT GUY COULD HAVE MENTIONED TO US WHEN WE CHECKED IN 1st TIME so we could have saved some money

it was nice location and well connected to highways. Also the location had EV charging station that helped me a lot, it should update in the booking that there is a EV charging station so customer will know in advance.

overall it was a nice experience. However, there could be better options for breakfast, specially for vegetarians. All three days during my stay, there was same breakfast options so I would say there should be some changes in the menu specially for hot breakfast. There was only one person from the staff who was taking care of breakfast so it seemed to be very overwhelming to take care of customers.

The breakfast was really delicious and the breakfast area was clean and spacious. The pantry/canteen they offered for guests had lots of great snack and beverage options as well. The rooms were clean and comfortable as well. Fabulous pillows. Cable TV with good channel selection.

The pool area was quite old and needs an upgrade desperately. That said, it was very disappointing that the slide was not there, as the kids were excited. No bathtub made it harder with small children, as a bath is part of their bedtime routine, and the washrooms were pretty small when there are kids crammed in with Mom. And the glass doors made me nervous with little clumsy kids around.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was good. The location was good for us as it was close to a freeway which made it easy to get around.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like but was disappointed that we didn't get the room and location that we requested as I had booked this stay six months in advance. It all worked out but my husband has mobility and heart issues so it could have been quite difficult.

Location was great. Room was cleaned each day, towels replenished and the cleaning staff were amazing when encountered.

The breakfast was the same for each three days. Having a different style egg or a meat other then just sausage would’ve been a great change. The breakfast staff were amazing though.

Young woman at front desk for check-in was unbelievably sweet! When we called for more towels they were delivered instantly. Room was big and comfortable, shower head had fantastic pressure, our bathroom was well-lit and clean.

There was one night where we went to the pool and there were no towels left, but that was a minimal issue. The fan in the bathroom didn't work amazingly so after my (albeit super hot) showers, the bathroom would be pretty foggy. Honestly no complaints that are of any consequence!

The Staff in the kitchen and front desk were wonderful so warm and caring regarding any of our needs .Extra hard workers someone needs to teach them to walk all they do is Run all day and night Great Stay Thanks

The Fire alarm system no one had the key or code not even the firemen or the Staff it rang for 1 and 1/2 hours

Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable.

Breakfast was limited but we were unable to see the food to be able to choose if it was to our liking as it had to be brought out to you based on their names (ie omelette...surprise! It was not how I thought it would be). It would be nice to still keep it from guests but have some kind of visual to help with choice, perhaps a plate outside to use as a sample of choices available. This would help to expedite line movement and also with food choices.

I enjoyed the service from entering the building to leaving the building. Also the rooms were decent but the extra pillow in the closet had a lot of stains. Crumbs were also in bed sheets? How does that happen?

My car alarm was claimed to be going off from 430am until 7am when they contacted me to let me know. Two and a half hours to contact me is a bit extreme while the other residents are complaining. Very sorry for the inconvenience of that but I was not notified and I did not hear my alarm.

Great, modern, clean rooms. A standup shower, a definite plus! Had very nice conditioner, shampoo, soap handy with pumps right on the wall. Great TV, very comfortable beds with different pillows soft and hard.

Unfortunately, most of the swimming facilities weren’t working. The pool was open, but the slide was closed and so is the hot tub. Towels there were no towels and we had to go to the front desk. It would’ve been nice if they were all open, but I understand they have to be updated at some point.
