This bed and breakfast was full of character and tastefully decorated with huge, comfy beds and fluffy pillows to die for! There were refreshments provided in the lounge on the landing and constant supply of ice from a machine. The family style breakfast around the table with other guests created a homely feel, while the variety of fruit juices, homemade oats compote, protein-enriched yogurt shot, fresh fruits and a second course of cheese and bacon soufflé with tomato concasse made the breakfast very special indeed! But best of all was the friendly, efficient and generous service by our host, making us feel extremely welcomed as soon as we arrived.
We didn’t get the chance to use the wraparound balconies of our bedrooms…. Should have stayed for longer 😝

This beautiful old house, dating back to 1888, is a treasure. The owners have paid much attention to detail with its decor. The Bulloch Suite, where we stayed, was lovely, spacious & the king-sized bed, with its soft sheets & covers, was a dream. Breakfast each morning was a dining experience & simply divine. Michelle has clearly taken the time to dedicate her efforts to the menus as her offerings are thoughtful & delicious. If you're looking for a place for a relaxing getaway, that is not your typical hotel chain or motel, a place that has history & where you can appreciate an older building with character, then this is your place.

Wonderful bed and breakfast located central to everything in town. We literally walked everywhere. The morning breakfast service was not only healthy but outstanding. Room was decorated with beautiful antiques and included everything for a enjoyable stay. The owner was not only a wonderful hostess but suggested multiple places to consider visiting knowing this was our first visit. We literally can not wait to rebook for a trip next year.
I would change nothing.

Beautifully presented breakfast. More than enough to get us through the day without having to stop for lunch. Delicious and perfectly executed. We were also very happy to be able to check in much earlier than our planned arrival time.
The installation of a safety bar in the bath would be good for anyone with balance issues. There is a small handle at the soap level which helps but a bar might be better.

This was my first time at B&B ever and it exceeded my expectations. The house was beautiful, the breakfast that our host prepared was absolutely delicious and served in such a beautiful setting. The place was so close to downtown Gananoque, as well as the cruises. It was quiet and our room even though small, it was so comfy and we slept so well. Our host Michelle was so kind and did everything to make us feel welcomed, I will for sure come back again!
There is nothing I didnt like....

What a treat to stay in this beautifully appointed heritage property. The custodians take the utmost pride and care of their space. Everything you could possibly want for has been thoughtfully provided in advance. The breakfast is a sumptuous multi course feast in the company of your fellow guests. A stay here is an antique-lover’s dream come true.
That we only stayed a single night

Our hostess was warm and welcoming and knowledgeable about the community and surrounding area. She served a creative mix of nourishing foods in a beautifully appointed dining room.
We were provided a very small room in which the queen bed dominated the space. Luggage could only be stored under the bed. The 9'x9' non air conditioned room had no cross-ventilation.

Bed, towels, breakfast, location, guest lounge facilities, friendly host
Quality of accomodation for the price was a disappointment for our group (two rooms) after reading reviews and their website. The building is in desperate need of maintenance of terrace and exterior of building, cleaning of exterior, and maintenance and dusting in bathrooms. It lacks quality products in bathrooms for a 4/5 star presentation and the price. Sofa in the suite in a very poor state in dire need of restuffing, which made seating area less useful for our group. Good to know in advance that a lot is closed in town on Monday/Tuesday (at least in September) so very limited activities and restaurants were available, more time in the rooms then!

I really like the owner, Michelle was such a sweat person, willing to go extra mile to do anything for her guests, for me the bed was little too firm, she found a memory foam mattress to make it more comfortable for me, which was very nice from her and I had a perfect sleep . Breakfast there was, based on my husband word, very good. Unfortunately I'm not the person who eats sweet breakfast. Other then that, we enjoyed our stay in there, it was interesting. Location is very good, either you can walk around and you can drive, everything is close enough. We even enjoyed dinner in Czech restaurant, as we are Czech, which was perfect. An there is much more to enjoy.

Beautiful creaky old house with lovely stained glass in many windows. The breakfasts are simply delicious and exquisitely presented on varied china.
Wifi didn’t reach our room, and was spotty in the common area and on the front porch. Budget conscious, we chose the smallest room. The queen bed left less than a meter on any side or at the foot of the bed: no room for a chair or suitcase, no place to unpack to either: no closet or bureau. Since we had to go to the common area to sit or get wifi by holding our phones up, it would have been nice if our door had latched properly when unlocked too. Slow drain in the shower took about 45 mins to drain a 10 min shower, so we had to wait each day between them.
