Absolutely gorgeous location. Fabulous if you’re arriving by boat, or just to gaze out at the ferry cruises coming and coming. Very charming grounds, and an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, playground/splashpad.

The restaurant has gone to the dogs. The service is slow and confused. Tables are not being wiped down or cleared swiftly or at all in some cases. The menu is weird but the actual food is so much worse. We visited 3 years ago and while it wasn’t a Michelin star-worthy experience back then, it was totally fine and did the job. The restaurant ambience and view offer so much, it’s very disappointing that the food and service let it down. Breakfast (which was included) was very mediocre. Suggest you visit the restaurant for drinks only, and go elsewhere for meals (there is a gastropub across the road, we didn’t try it but it would be hard to do worse than Muskie Jakes).

I did like the agent to the front desk which they try to accommodate me sorry I didn’t get his name they were two guys I’m sure they schedule you will find who they are big Thky

In the morning we went for breakfast I didn’t see to be ready for brkf was almost 730 you don’t see is welcome for brkf mean to be set up ready to go inside area was like a mess not clean I will say . The server come offer the coffe and when I ask her for my brkf including to my rate room , for taking out she wasn’t sure which is understandable on my side we can’t accommodate everyone needs , reason I’m not early brkf person . But she didn’t even come back to says , I’m not able to take it to go or offer something. Again not really good specially you work yourself for hotel you expect better sometimes.

The breakfast was very disappointing . When we arrived at the restaurant we were not acknowledged & I had to ask a server if we just sat ourselves or waited , we sat and we’re not waited on for at least 20 min. then another 20 or so before our food came & it was extremely cold and not very appetizing. We had a voucher for the next day also but chose not to go thru that disappointment again I would not recommend it to anyone .

The stay was fine the rooms a little old but nice enough good location

the lake, the hotel outside is so quaint and the outside patios are amazing.

I can only talk about my room which was ins separate part from main hotel. walking into the annex was very stinky and the stairs located next to my room looked dirty and creepy. as a single traveller, not having a peep hole and having my front windows exposed to the parking lot did not make me feel safe. turning off the lights in the room you can see out each side of the door. not sure that it is fire safe or peeper safe. regardless, once in the room, I was comfortable with the fresh bed, clean rugs and cozy. it is my second stay at the hotel. I was sad that the spa was closed but I got to dorms more time on the Muskoka chairs outside overlooking the lake. such a beautiful location.

The Inn was very charming with Traditional decor and well maintained. Location by the waterfront was great for the views from the two restaurants and for a pleasant walk. Staff were friendly. Restaurants in the Inn had great food and great service.

There is no elevator so had to climb with suitcases to my 3rd floor room. However, an elevator would take away from the timeless charm of the place. Spa facilities were not available both days of my stay which I thought odd as it advertises as an Inn and Spa.

Very good...the scrambled eggs were perfectly made...staff very helpful and professional.

Everything! I saw people complain about the fact there is no elevator...please read the hotel description...it says there is no elevator. And yes, you need to take the stairs. If you cannot take the stairs, tell the reception...they are very accommodating and most likely you will get a room at lower level. The fact there is elevator gives this building is character. Everything is clean and very well maintained inside and in the room we were in.

Room was small but clean and had everything we needed for a night stay. There was a shared kitchen that guests could make coffee in the morning or store food in the refrigerator. the bed and pillows were comfortable and the heat was sufficient for mid January. Nice little balcony to have a smoke. Plenty of plug in for charging devices. Good for one maybe two might stay for a couple. Otherwise to small. Bur we were just passing through to visit Olympia.

Staff was great, Location is perfect. Close walk to the Cruise and the park/playgrounds for kids. The view from the breakfast/lunch/dinner patio is amazing.

The building is build in approximately 1850's and it doesn't have elevator. The Tv could be a little bigger and have some program for kids to watch but there is lots to do outdoors to entertain them anyways.

The location of our room 103 was excellent we loved being near the water, the free breakfast is a great feature, the staff were very friendly, we love the area, we realize the INN is not new but it does need some TLC, thanks, we would visit again

the room needed some fixing , the showerhead was leaking all down the wall and if not looked after will cause mould issues, the entrance door needed painting as the paint was chipping off and we were carrying the chips of paint onto the carpet with our shoes, some stale air by times .

The room was recently renovated and clean with a wonderful view. Reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant staff were a delight to chat with and extremely efficient. They were extremely busy and always had a smile. Breakfast was good.

My only teeny comment are the mirrors. They were full of very visible streaks and would need a second pass to clean properly. Everything else in the room was very clean and neat
