This beautiful historic B&B was located perfectly off Queen street. We were greeted very warmly and asked about accommodations for our breakfast. Margot went above and beyond to serve us an amazing breakfast that met our specific dietary needs. John was so kind to call us to ask our arrival time. It felt comforting to know they were waiting for us. John shared with us toward the end of breakfast about the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, very informative and interesting.

The bed seemed wonky but having said that, I slept all night. The bed was on the firm side and I prefer a softer bed. But it worked because I slept.

The hosts of the Apple Tree B&B were so warm and welcoming. They were eager to describe the history of the house and surrounding area which was fascinating! It brought so much more intrigue to our getaway. They provided excellent suggestions for things to do and sites to visit in the town. John has prepared a self guided walking tour with descriptions of historical significance around the town. Margo is truly a power when it comes to breakfast! We were treated to a multi course, but not overwhelming, variety of flavors and freshness. Locally cultivated product is used where available and it was all plain delicious! The site itself is within walking distance to all the points of interest and restaurants in the Old Downtown. So much to see and do in this area and the Apple Tree B&B is the perfect headquarters to set up and enjoy Niagara on the Lake.

We really don't have anything to critique except for the mild embarrassment of not being able to open the door at 11:15 at night. Its a historic house and a slight manipulation of the door may have saved us.

We adored our stay at Appletree! John and Margot served the most wonderful breakfasts (danishes, ice wine, and mimosas!) and were supportive of connections between guests at this cozy setting. It was a joy to be regaled with tales from local lore each morning and they had many great insights and tips about the town and nearby touristic sites. Would 100% stay again!

Liked all of it, no complaints.

John and Margo are fantastic hosts. The rooms were comfortable, fully stocked with essentials. They gave us so many tips for an enjoyable trip around NOTL. Margo prepared a breakfast that was delicious and very well presented. A 3 course breakfast to be exact, 5 star quality. John shared some history on the town and their house. So much passion, you will be intrigued just listening to him. You will not be disappointed. The pictures they posted are exactly what you will see and experience. Can't wait to return.

Great location, parking on site, within easy walking distance to old town attractions. Host was accommodating with check in time. Fantastic breakfast included, be prepared to skip lunch you’ll likely be full.

Anything I said I didn’t like would be petty. So nothing negative to say.

The home was built in 1820 and has such a unique ambiance about it, from the furniture to the decor, it was quite lovely. The breakfast was a step above, Margie is an amazing cook using local fare when she can.

Everything was absolutely perfect, there is nothing I can say negative about our stay, from the check in, to our tour of the home, our hosts were very attentive.

Excellent location, breakfast, and very friendly staff. John made us feel welcome right away and location could not be better. We only had a chance for one breakfast but it was incredibly delicious.

The location was excellent and within a few blocks of Queen St. We were greeted warmly by the owners who were welcoming and accomadating. We had to leave early in the morning and missed the regular breakfast, however, the owners kindly provided a delicious "to-go" breakfast including croissant egg sandwiches, pastries, and fresh fruit. Very thoughtful!

Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Very clean, great location in town, walking distance to the main strip. The back yard was a slice of heaven to sit in the sun, have some wine and play cards for a relaxing afternoon.
