Was here for my friends wedding. The rooms were clean, beds very comfy and the pool/hot tub and spa facilities were wonderful. Definitely a deserved restful stay. The wedding dinner was delicious (beef with caramelized onions). I could have eaten 2. My diet is restricting, and wasn’t quite sure the ingredients in the pear garden salad with walnuts, but I risked it and was ok. Tasted good. The gardens across the street for the ceremony were stunning. I have a landscaping business and thought the workmanship and maintenance was really well done. The grooms ready room was great too since the rooms weren’t ready yet. I would recommend having a washroom with a shower nearby so people can freshen up before putting their suits on. I decided to go for a hot tub before, so I was able to use the change room facilities which were nice and clean. Beautiful old building and decor. I admired the timber trusses as I am studying architecture. Staff were very nice and accommodating.

Can’t thing of anything.

Check in was a breeze. Our room location was wonderful. The hallways and rooms are extremely dated, and not very comfortable. The pool and outdoor area is stunning and resort like. The spa was wonderful. My only issue was my allergy when booking wasnt taken seriously, and it was an issue and fed into 15 minutes of my time. But the manager helped with a discount. The gardens and Outpost across the road were beautiful and so fun.

The hallways are dated, and beds uncomfortable. They could do with some updating. I understand wanting to keep the vibe of the inn, and not making too modern would be important, but it is underwhelming for the cost.

We had a lovely two-night getaway. We loved the property, our rooms, the pool, our slippers and robes and the staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed the ambiance and a nice meal at the pub. The location is close enough to the main strip and yet far enough away to be able to retreat from the crowds. We look forward to going back. Next time we'll try the Cannery which looked exquisite. And maybe even enjoy a winter getaway experience.

The outdoor pool was absolutely jam packed and a little too overcrowded on our first night (could have been an event though because most of the people had cleared out by our second night). Endless rows of chairs were a bit daunting with no elbow room, unlike the online pictures. Rooms were nice and 'vintagey' but maybe could use a slight update (bigger beds would have been great, e.g. two queens instead of two doubles).

The hotel is located away in quiet, area but yet close enough for walk to main attractions. Easy access to roads leading to wineries and other sites. Staff quite friendly and hotel clean. Food good at restaurant as well.

The air conditioner in our room seemed to blow very cold air right on top of face which made it quite cold. Noisy as well. When AC went off, room would get hot. Seems like location of the window ac unit not good. They also need to have box of Kleenex in the room as well, not just in bathroom. For Tv that is away from bed, it should be bigger.

The pool and spa area were great! Beautifully landscaped, clean, nice towel service and poolside bar. Loved the mineral pool in the spa. Be sure to book a time slot ahead of time.

This is not the hotel's fault, it was ours. We left our bikes on the back of our car, locked to our Thule bike rack parked in the well lit hotel parking lot. They were stolen in the middle of the night. The hotel has bike storage inside but we were lazy and didn't use it. Be very careful, it is a safe town but there are bike thieves in all types of towns!

Most things and the staff were very friendly and helpful, Food and room were great

some of the facilities appear to be requiring some maintenance and refurbishment the room toilet was loose to the floor the sauna seemed dated and some of the wood had splinters in it. the bed cover seemed very short to pull over your shoulders, no tea bags in the room only coffee, the gym was missing some ceiling tiles. the indoor pool temperature was not warm enough for us to stay in it, and I suspect others, I’m only trying to be constructive because we actually love the place x

The outdoor pool was heated with a gas fire poolside. The indoor pool was lovely with real palm trees inside and a hot tub poolside. The spa was lovely, wonderful staff enjoyed my mani/pedi immensely. Th outside mineral hoy springs waterfall hot tub through and past the spa was gorgeous very warm and relaxing but outside. Loved the food in the Cannery restaurant on site. Celebrated a family birthday did not have to leave all day or eve everything was there. Loved it very much!

Very pricey for rooms that need new carpets my bed was a bit old and seemed broken or crooked. I could not get the fireplace to turn on. But I slept well from the lovely time spent in the awesome amenities there.

The two pools on site were amazing. Both the indoor and outdoor pool are heated year round and we enjoyed them both. My son loved being able to swim when the weather was still a bit chilly. They also have a hot tub indoors that is very relaxing. We even had a personal concierge to help with anything we needed. They would also leave us a fresh rose on our bed every night and it was such a wonderful touch!

It would have been nice to have some sort of included breakfast option. They do have a coffee and tea bar at no extra cost, but maybe some fruit or oatmeal would've been nice to have. But everything else was truly amazing.

Our room was comfortable, but the best feature of the Pillar & Post is the pool area, which is the social heart of the property and makes you feel like you're on a resort vacation. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and it's a bonus being able to access the beautiful gardens across the street from the hotel.

Our room had a great view of the pool, but because the window was on the main corridor, we had to keep the curtains closed so that people couldn't look into our room as they walked past. It was a minor inconvenience, and wouldn't prevent me from staying here again.

This resort is exceptional, we stayed here for a little honeymoon getaway after our wedding and it was just what we needed. Such a beautiful and relaxing resort, everywhere you look is stunning! The staff is very friendly and helpful, always someone on-hand to help out. Our room was beautiful, with the comfiest king size 4-poster bed. The facilities are amazing - the outdoor pool and sun deck area is wonderful (open early AND late, which is great!), the spa and hot springs were out of this world and so romantic! Make sure to also walk the gardens across the street and have a drink at the Outpost. The food here is also amazing, we didn't have a single 'bad' thing - the crab cakes in particular are WOW, a must try! We loved our stay here so much, and only should have booked longer. Highly recommend! It is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of NOTL.

My one small complaint is that the Cannery breakfast buffet menu advertised eggs benedict, my favourite - so we went there for breakfast for that reason. However at breakfast we were told that it is not offered, so that was a bit disappointing (we would have gone somewhere else). But the made-to-order waffles and omlettes were great, breakfast was delicious and plentiful!
