Good value, great location, walking distance to Thornsbury's downtown so to speak with restaurants and bars and a full kitchen in which you can make your own breakfasts, should you wish to lounge. Recommended to bring your own coffer and other supplies, kitchens are equipped but modestly. If you insist on 5-star and modern, you will not be satisfied. The units are large and very functional but a bit outdated in terms of decorating. Staff was great as were the pool and hot tubs. We will return, with better understanding of how we can better utilize the facilities.
It lost marks because it did not have any coffee to supply guests for the coffee makers on-site. It meants Timmie's for us the first morning until we bought our own supplies. The resorts says it usually does have coffee supplies, however, I recommend bringing your own, regardless. Coffee makers are the older types with paper filters.

The proximity to the water in the village was great. Is has a decent little swim spot right across the street from the resort. There is also a pier to jump into the bay. And bonus - they have a saltwater pool.
There’s a very weird loud noise in the master bedroom during the night. We don’t think it was one of the air conditioning units, as those have their own noise. It was more like a sound from the building itself, some mechanical thing. We were far away from the pool, so I’m not sure what it was. Bring ear plugs!

Large 2 bedroom apt. Also had good kitchen self catering facilities - fridge/freezer, cooker etc Very good view out of front windows overlooking the bay
Some basic maintenance items needed fixing eg both toilet pan seats needed the fixings tightened. Also the blind in the living area could not be drawn over. Lack of usb charging sockets meant having to use plug system instead (fortunately we carry several!).

Great location, nice view of Harbour. The Suite was a nice size. Good facilities with fridge, oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave etc. Well stocked with cooking utensils cutlery, etc. Amenities were good. Indoor pool and hot tub were nice .Nice community to visit.
Toilet shut off valve was dripping( put bowl under it to catch drips) , wall outlet by bed didn't work.Alerted staff to issues at checkout.

Our suite was scrupulously clean. Everything you need to make your own meals if desired, even to entertain. Loved the pool and hot tub with lake/harbor view. Great lake view from our suite. Right at the end of the town's quaint main street. Facility is dated, but everything else spot-on. Beds were comfy.
Exterior aesthetics. But that's not a dealbreaker.

liked that the hotel was less expensive that Blue Mtn Village and only 15 min to the mountain at Blue. We liked the pool and full kitchen! we liked that it was close to the LCBO, grocery and downtown Thornbury.
The wallpaper in our unit was ‘tired’ - it was peeling off the wall in many places. It could have a refresh. The mirrored sliding door just inside the door fell off it’s rail. We didn’t love that the parking lot wasn’t too accessible. But it was ok

The cleanliness of the rooms, the view of the lake and seeing the sun shine on the water, having everything we needed in the kitchen available like utensils, cups, glasses ect, my family and I had no complaints.
Not a major issue but since vacation is about going out and having fun, coming back after a long day and relaxing infront of the tv with family is also crucial. I wish the tv had the option to screen cast (connect your phone) or have utube or netflix. The wifi was also slow at times and would drop alot

I liked the location. View was great and the hotel was easy to find. Very quaint. I will for sure be back. Staff were friendly, room was well appointed and clean. It rained during my stay and I didn't get to fully enjoy outdoors when not working but look forward to doing so next time.
Poor communication regarding wifi, I couldn't find password but thankfully have a good data plan and could tether my phone to work. Parking was not great especially for checking in. I drove around 3 times trying to find where to stop. Not a good place to stay if you need accommodation for access no ramps or elevators and lots of stairs. Pack lite so you don't have to haul heavy items to your room it's potentially a long walk.

I like this place, we stayed there numerous times. Hotel is a little dated, but clean and has all amenities, including fully equiped kitchen, pool and sauna.
Only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is the hot tub water, it was filty, and I don't care if it meets the health standards. It was visibly dirty. How hard is it to replace hot-tub water regularly.

Great location. Walking distance to several restaurants and great view of the Harbour.
Guess I did not read the fine print, but did not realize there was no soap or bodywash or shampoo. A short walk to Pharmasave fixed that problem. Otherwise we were very pleased with our stay. Would definately recommend.
