A couple of days before the check in, i was asked if the stay was for a celebration. It was my wife birthday and our wedding anniversary. The staff left a letter and amenities for us, to celebrate. We loved the on line check in. The room was larger than I was expecting and at the last floor. Fantastic!

We usually get our breakfast early. This time we went late, at 9am. And it was really busy. The staff worked really hard to welcome all the client and allow us to have breakfast. Maybe 1-2 more employees dedicated to the breakfast would have avoided people skipping the line. But who was working did a really Excellent work in difficult circumstances. We loved our stay

The rooms are nice. The hotel is very clean and modern. The breakfast and the coffee were good. It's in a great location in the middle of the entertainment district. It's also easy to drive to, and the valet process is pretty straight-forward.

The breakfast area is too congested. The hotel has the food at one end, and the coffee at the other end. The volume of people made it difficult to move. The coffee station is also right at the entrance to the dining area, so you end up with a queue of people in an awkward spot where other guests are lined up waiting for a table. I think it would flow a lot better if the coffee was in the same area as the food.

We walked from the hotel to dinner to the Royal Alexander Theatre, the location was idea! I was celebrating my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised to find a gift and a birthday card in the room when I arrived. I’m holding the chili I got free for my birthday. The gift they left me was not something I could eat so they let me have whatever I wanted from their marketplace. The room had a full stocked kitchen including a stove and dishwasher. There isn’t an ice machine, but the staff were quick to bring up a bag of ice. The breakfast buffet was hot and one of the best hotel buffets I’ve been to. Tip-they have premade omelets with cheese and salsa at the end, so don’t feel like you need to take the scrambled eggs

The strong perfume smell in the hallway. $60 for parking, they only have valet

Location was fantastic, really close and easy walking distance to the attractions we wished to see (CN Tower, Ripleys Aquarium, Nathan Philips Square, Hockey Hall of Fame, St Lawrence Market). We could see CN tower from our room window!! Room was spacious, having a kitchen with cutlery and plates was perfect for us as a family. Breakfast was OK, plenty of options, just a little busy. But we went earlier on the 2nd day and was able to sit at a table (took breakfast to our room on the first day). Swimming pool was a good size, water was a little cloudy. Hot tub was fantastic, lovely temperature. Staff were friendly, we messaged a day before checking in to ask if we could early check in, and we were able to when we got there. If not, we could have stored our luggage until the room was ready and that would have been good enough for us. They did store our luggage on check out day too until it was time for us to leave for the airport.

Cloudy water in swimming pool. Hot tub timer was far away from the hot tub. Pool area flooring was very slippery.

Location (close to toronto transit and activities) and quality of the free breakfast. Also that it would accommodate my dodge caravan. Full kitchen in the room was great along with the dishware etc to use.

Line ups to get to breakfast - more seating and spacing could be better. Would also prefer breakfast be served until 11am instead of 10am. The parking fee was a bit high. Pool cleanliness later in the day, would be worthwhile to clean the pool once or twice throughout the day when needed.

I only stayed one night but could see myself staying again and for longer. I would make more use of the amazing kitchenette! It had everything, even a dishwasher! I chose the Marriott because of price and location. I felt the value was great for the price. Big room! Very comfortable!

I understand the demand is probably not there, but being vegan, breakfasts at hotels in general are never the greatest. I was happy to see oat milk for the cereal! That was great! Adding something like baked beans to the hot items would be amazing.

Everything was super clean and breakfast had good variety. Our queen bed was very comfortable bed. The room also had a sofa bed but the mattress/topper was extremely thin and would be ok for little children but did not work for my teenager.

We were in town for Taylor Swift’s concert and like every other hotel, the price gauging was serious. The rate was probably 3-4x more than a “regular” day.

The breakfast was good but what was exceptional were the staff in the breakfast room. Helpful, cheerful, efficient under challenging circumstances. Room staff were also first rate, extremely friendly and accommodating. The front door staff actually seemed to recognize us and were very welcoming.

Okay, one small thing. We were in room 912. The bar for accessing the shower/bath is installed on the wrong side of the tub.

Enormous room, studio apartment really. love the swivel TV so you can view from bed or couch. Very clean, great little kitchen, good supply of cookware. More teabags would be nice. Nice staff too. I actually preferred the great couch to the bed. Decent area, convenient for train, Ripley aquarium, local transport. Nice to have a bathtub, I am tired of hotels replacing tubs with just giant shower stalls.

Not much but I don't care for the very high upfront damage deposit, although it is credited back.
