I liked the staff except one... Lin was very nice, and she was very kind .

in the day we arrived after 7 hour's drive from Montreal, it was around 8PM, no one was in the reception, we have to wait 15 mn !! it was very bad to come to the hotel and no one attending or even note on the front desk i did little noise (hellooooooo call to the reception but nothing...) then came out very rude guy and tell me not to do noise, offence my child (take out your Garbisch. was food and personal staf) If I was not I was going out from the hotel . then Lin change all (in the days after) also I reported to the staff that 5 cigars wher missing after the first day they clean my room

It was a great place to stay. The breakfast is great in the morning. It’s so nice to have the option to make our own meals in the room as well. Only thing that would be nice is if the fridge was bigger but there is only so much space. We really found we saved money on our stay by making our own meals and not buying meals at restaurants. We will be going back again for sure

Nothing it was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed.

The breakfast was a very good value with scrambled eggs, home fries, ham (1 day) and sausage (1 day).

We had a herd of elephants above me. Very loud floor creaking above us. My husband and I heard every step that they made. They woke us up at 1:00 am one morning and at 5:00 am another morning. The floor creaking noise was not enjoyable. We knew every time that they were in their room.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, gave the hotel a much more homely feel. For example, they lent us a toaster and kettle which aren't normally available in the rooms. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of room and loads of storage.

Some of the furnishings are a little bit tired, certainly not up to the level of some more modern hotels and suites. Some of the facilities in the room also, for example the fridge was a little small for a kitchenette. There's no guest laundry, which feels a little unusual for a suites type hotel.

Location was perfect, we were there for a regatta, very close to the course. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a great size, we had a suite, it was comfortable and had the right space for what we needed. Very clean. I was impressed with the kitchenette. Breakfast was one of the best we've experienced at any hotel stay, and the server was lovely. Everyone was very cheerful and efficient.

Bit more expensive than I'd expected, but a very good experience.

Clean room comfortable bed and couch (we stay one day but we had a kitchenette in our suite...amazing) professional staff good breakfast good AC and WiFi extra pillows and bedsheets

clean, no hidden charges, plenty of parking available, good breakfast, secure and convenient location

Everything was good, I just didn’t like that the duty staff hurrying us at 10:15 am to check out! we were ready anyways and was going to check out by 10:30 am, where the checkout time was 11 am!

Rooms were clean and well equipped breakfast lady was super cheerful and friendly Checkin was easy and front desk staff was helpful and friendly

I thought $270 for one night was very pricey I’d expect to pay that for an entire weekend. It’s sad when hotels inflate the price more than double for a busy weekend-seems like gouging to me. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear EVERYTHING in the room above us. Even them just walking around and using the washroom. They got in at 2am so it was not a great sleep for us. Ive never experienced that in a hotel before. I’m not sure if it’s acoustics in the hotel or if the floors are not insulated/ thin. For the above mentioned reasons I likely wouldn’t book there again

June 2022: The hotel was very close to the site of the race (Welland International Flatwater Center). There is a walk/run/bike pathway along the canal behind the hotel. It is easily accessible. You're allowed to swim and canoe/kayak in the canal, great for children. Just be aware that there are no lifeguards.

Great breakfast. Fresh pancake maker. Hot food was good. A lot of options. Nice staff.

Maybe add French toast to the hot meal. Hash browns were ok but seems like they added the tiny hash brown with the bigger kind and the tiny ones seemed dried up.
