The location of the hotel is ideal for a tourist.
The room facing the Teatison street. There is continuous beeping sound emitted by the pedestrian crossing signal for the benefit of the blind. This can be annoying and can interfere with your sleep, especially during the day. However,my request for a change of room on account of this was readily agreed to by the hotel without any fuss.

The location was in the very center of Santiago and within walking distance of many bodegas, restaurants and gift stands, but at night the neighborhood empties out and becomes a "dicey" place to walk around. The room was very large and contained a refrigerator, large TV and only a few English-speaking TV channels.
The surrounding neighborhood at night appeared to be NOT very safe. As noted by another reviewer, "The room facing the Teatison street. There is continuous beeping sound emitted by the pedestrian crossing signal for the benefit of the blind. This can be annoying and can interfere with your sleep, especially during the day."

Fantastic bed! And the best breakfast buffet of our 3 month South American trip! (There's even champagne!) The room was a generous size with a huge, firm bed. That's rare and very appreciated since my fiance is 6'3". The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Santiago where all the main sights are. Also, the room had USB charging ports. This is great for foreign travelers who might not yet have the local electric plugs. This is thoughtful design. We would have extended our stay, if we had had the time. It's a great place! 10/10
Check in was a little bit awkward as we were told to wait while the front desk seemed to be having personal conversations. Front desk was also not able to arrange or advise on convenient transportation to the nearby ski resort. They insisted on standard high season options that didn't make sense. (So we ended up just using Uber, paying half the price, getting door to door service and leaving on our own schedule with now traffic issues at all.)

The staff were polite and helpful as we struggled with the language barrier. The breakfast was amazing. Every day there was fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and granola, two egg dishes, sausage, makings for grilled sandwiches, and an entire dessert table (which I have never seen at a breakfast before). This really added to the value of our stay. The location was convenient to the metro, La Moneda, and Plaza de Armas. There are also many restaurants within walking distance.
There were some "cosmetic" things with our room that perhaps needed updating, but nothing that detracted from our stay.

The people/staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was good and offered some options. The location is good only if your intention is to look around all the important landmarks/museums etc., The area is pretty dead and gets unsafe after sunset.
The access to this hotel is not from a main road and is almost like an alley. Plus, the elevators could take a long time during peak hours. The bedding was basic, on the frame that can slide if you leaned back.

Actually stayed there twice during a week-long trip, 2 days each time. It was a bit difficult to find the front entrance as it opens from a tiny side street. Front desk staff did not have great English, but tried everything to accommodate and help. Room was clean and comfortable, hotel is smack middle of downtown, about a block from the presidential palace, walking distance from a lot of restaurants and shops. We liked that they provided free parking nearby, and the breakfast was EXCELLENT! Full breakfast with eggs and pastries and everything. Staff was friendly and helpful, definitely recommend!
Staying on the 4th floor we could still hear the live music at night from a nearby restaurant. 2nd stay at 7th floor was quieter. Be advised, during winter month central heat is only turned on at 5pm for the night, but there is a window AC unit that can heat too.

A great value and great location. It's walking distance to many museums (most of which were free!) as well as many other attractions/destinations such as Santa Lucia Hill, San Cristobal Hill, the Lastarria and Bellavista neighborhoods and more. Central to many metro and bus stations and right next to the busy walking avenue during the week which is very chaotic but very fun. Then it goes completely silent during the weekend. The bed was comfortable and the room was just fine for what we needed. The free breakfast was a main reason we booked the hotel as we ate out basically all other meals. It was adequate to put something in our stomachs for the start of our busy days. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
We struggled with a language barrier more than we expected, but that is on us not the hotel staff. Just a caution to others who don't speak fluent Spanish. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and did their best to help or grab someone who can understand.

This hotel met our needs. The rooms were spacious enough, very clean, quiet, we stay in three rooms all were fine. The staff were professional and helpful, the breafkast buffer and a lof to choices and was quite good. The restaurant was also good and reasonably price. A good value considering its location.
This is an older hotel, its is well maintained and clean but it does show signs of age. The neighborhood is great during the day but unsafe at night. They charged for water but this seems to be common in Chile.

Great central base for Santiago. The room was comfortable, super big bed and warm shower. Nice view from the windows and for how cold it was outside, it was always warm. Big bottle of water on arrival and room cleaned daily. Central to everything, we walked 5 mins to the main plaza. If you don't mind a walk it's not too far to lastarria and bella vista and even though we walked back at 9/9.30pm the streets were always busy enough i never felt in danger. 20 min drive from the airport and even though we speak english the front desk staff all could help with everything. We checked out at 4am and they still were available to assist. Would stay again

Massive bed
They asked me to pay in the check in. As I don’t have a credit card I could only pay in Chilean pesos using my debit card for which they charged me 20% VAT in addition to my bill. I wasn’t happy at all as in their website doesn’t say that we have to pay in the check in. Staff, although all were lovely, are using the customers lift all the time. The hotel doesn’t have the “ not disturb “ or “ clean my room” sign for which cleaners are knocking on the door asking you that.
