Wonderful personal service, the team go out of there way to take care of you and make you feel like a valued customer. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Comfortable clean room, a little dated but far outweighed by the excellent service across the entire hotel, convenient location and breakfast. Located right next to the metro station, Starbucks and good Japanese restaurant over the road, what more do you need?!

Talk about first world problems, I feel bad marking them down for such trivial things. The room slippers are way too small for male western feet!!

The quality of the staff was outstanding. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Two of them who attended to us personally were particularly impressive - Mr. Jack Lian of the concierge and Miss Fairy Chen of the Western restaurant on the 2nd floor. The former gave useful information of Shenzhen and tirelessly escorted us all the way to the subway after we checked out while the latter met our request outside, we believe, her purview of work in that she went somewhere away from the restaurant to fetch us something that was not readily available thereat. It was our sincere heartfelt gratitude for their exemplary service that far exceeded our expectations. We have to congratulate the hotel management of boasting staff of such exceptional quality. This also explains why the hotel holds such high reputation.

The swimming pool is a bit old.

Everything was perfect. We were a group of 6 persons (4 stayed two nights and 2 stayed one night). Everyone of us was impressed by the 5-star services provided by each of the hotel staff at the lobby, reception, fitness centre, swimming pool, restaurant as well as from the housekeeping team. The staff are highly professional, friendly and attentive. They arranged our rooms on the same floor including two connecting rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with good view. Knowing that we came to celebrate the birthday of one of us, the hotel sent us a complimentary birthday cake and fruits to our room. We also like the buffet breakfast which had many food varieties. We had a wonderful staycation at the hotel. We'll surely come again!

I have stayed at many hotels around the world and I believe the staff and services at the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen were some of the best I ever recieved. The staff was amazing, attentive, and treated me wonderfully. The location was great and close to many malls, bars, and restaurants. Room was clean with a beautiful view of the city. Will definitely stay again

We Exceptional checking experience, warm welcome by Jack and he accompanied us throughout our stay. Jack got back yo my email and followed my requirements to the last detail. The whole club team was awesome and everyone wore a kind smile. Our room was nicely decorated for my wife's birthday. During his busy schedule the GM Mr. Jain, made time to check up on us each day and went way out of his way to borrow my wife his wife's scarf on a cold day! We also sampled some of the finest creations at the Palleto made by El maestro chef Lorenzo! Also introducing the dish was Mr Ramos who provide ample knowledge about what the chef was trying to get us to feel or taste and what best way to eat the delicacies. (Chapeau guys!) And not to forget I hope Martin is the name! I really hope, the young fellow who was pairing and introducing each beverage during the food sampling. We also managed to order some in room dining from the main restaurant and the pasta was excellent! Thanks to Mr Villegas, we managed to enjoy some authentic hongkong style egg roll for breakfast twice -- this dish is amazing! Thanks for the recommendations! And finally Mr Tan, we didn't meet, but I wish I'd had a chance to shake your hand! Sir your pastries are amazing (thanks for the macaroons). In fact from bellhop to higher ups, thank you all for your excellent hospitality. And one final warm thank you to Jack! I just realized you walked two blocks with us on the last night to just show us where the park was~that was unnecessary but warmly appreciated!

One forgivable hiccup but doesn't affect my 10/10 rating!

Almost everything was excellent

I felt a bit cheated this time since we had a full board deal, but we were charged ¥3000+ to eat in the main restaurant on New Year! That was very unfair and a bit of false advertising on booking. Com or whomever was responsible! On the day I was told that we could eat for free in the club (only) each day they changed things around but every other day I ate in the main restaurant free of charge!

Staff were very accommodating - especially Alex the concierge had great recommendations and even showed us directions to where we needed to be.

The property was lovely - the only problem is that there is limited seating at the pool area and staff do not seem accommodating to set up extra sunbeds.

The service and amenities were fantastic, cannot praise the staff more. Friendly, helpfull and efficient. They went out if their way on a number of occasions to make my stay more comfortable and my experience in Shenzhen better. Will not hesitate to stay there again.

We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely book again when we’re back in Shenzhen. Our room was upgraded to a Junior Club Suite and the hotel set up a kid's tent for us inside our room! The food and service is excellent.
