The hotel has a very unique "industrial style" charme, it is spacious and modern. The Vibe is lovely. It is very central with lots of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The security staff was always very helpful and nice. There are a lot of activities offered and the welcome drink was very nice. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

We had a very nice Double Room with a balcony, but our friends who booked the same Double Room had to stay directly above the restaurant and could not sleep because of the noise and smell from the kitchen. The food in the restaurant was okay, but nothing special. All in all everything in the Selina was a bit more expensive than in every other place we stayed so far.

We arrived in the early morning 5am and security were accommodating, they let us in to relax while we waited for check in. The location is great, located next to a convenient store and really short walking distance to the square and meeting point for walking / cycling tours. Good facilities - pool table, cinema room, restaurant, bar etc. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Clean room - cleaned every day with fresh towels and toilet paper Good food in restaurant. The room we stayed in had little noise cancellation from outside the hostel but this wasn't a problem for us, it didn't affect our sleep and they also provide ear plugs which was a nice touch so I wouldn't list as a negative just a note to those who may be affected by this. Warm shower.

Amazing decor, friendly and helpful staff, lots of communal areas. Restaurant downstairs with lots of options for different cuisines including vegetarian options. Fantastic shower - really hot and great pressure.

The room was very cold especially at night. There was a heater provided but it didn't help much. Please provide more blankets. It was also extremely noisy in the room and we could hear everything including music from downstairs and all the traffic outside. They did provide ear plugs but it was not ideal. Bed was quite uncomfortable. Please provide a shower mat otherwise everything just gets wet when you get out the shower.

Why do staff always have to congregate around the room and talk so so loud int he early morning?????

The location was exactly in the hostoric center of Bogotá. I was very easy to walk everywhere like Museo Fernando botero, Museo casa de la moneda, El Chorro de Quevedo, etcetera. Also, they give a welcome drink which was very fancy. And the food is really good. There is live music during the evenings which makes the bar even better.

I did not meet many people in this hostel.... I don't know something felt diferent from the Medellin hostel.... strange... Also, the sidewalk was under construction and there was a lot of noise & pollution coming inside the hostel... they did not warn me about this. One morning I was having my breakfast and suddenly, the noise & gases starting coming inside and made my eyes very irritated.

The high ceilings in the room, the common room (library), and the restaurant were great. The location is hard to beat, you are very close to every important landmark. In addition, below there is a Oxxo (supermarket) that is almost always open, accepts cards payment, and even allows you to withdraw money from an ATM. There are several Selina in Colombia but not all of them are on Booking.

The windows let a bit of air slip in and in Colombia there is no heating system. At the same time, the temperature can never be considered cold by an European.

The location is perfect; the property is súper beautiful and historical; the staff is pretty friendly and helpful; there’s is a nice restaurant attached to the Hostel with good food. I highly recommend it.

I just gave a 9 instead of a 10 for simple details: Since it’s an old building wherever you walk the floor and the doors make a lot of noise; The coffee served at the restaurant could be much better. It was usually cold and not strong enough; Paying to rent a towel was not cool

The staff was nice; the facilities were good; the hot water works (much needed in that cold city); I felt safe; the location is great; sufficient bathrooms for a shared space.

I think they can be a bit more strict with the noise policy. You are not to make noise after 11pm, but some people were in the kitchen laughing and talking loudly after 11pm. But I know the vibe of a hostel is all about making connections and having a good time with new people, so I wouldn't really consider this comment a complaint.

Great location and service, the building is very pretty as described in other reviews. It is a bit more expensive than other hostels but the service covers it. You receive a welcome cocktail the night of arrival and we had a problem with electricity in our room so we were offered breakfast for free. The staff recommends you places and tells you where and how to go to be safe at night.

The building is old and therefore noisy. Some people were very loud in the very early morning when leaving or calling, we know this is a hostel but it would be nice if there would be a policy to respect a little bit quiet hours when possible .
