The staff were very welcoming and super helpful - could not have been better guides to get us on our way to Montserrat and around Bogotá. The location is ideal and it was great to have the spa facilities - pool not included, but all the steam rooms and sauna are. John was really helpful when we left as we only had one night in Bogotá and a very early flight the following morning. As ever, room was clean and well equipped with fun decor, good linen and comfy twin beds. WiFi and all the usual facilities you get with Viagero Hostels - cannot recommend highly enough.

The room is slightly odd with the glass bathroom. The fridge did not close. The room also became very stuffy but this was quickly fixed by visiting reception who turned on the AC.

The attention of the servers/bartenders with outstanding! We ate several times at hotel, Karen and Jay were super to our needs and our favorite bartenders/servers. The 2 people that are top notch at sauna was Celimo and Emilio, super attentive to whatever is needed in the spa area, Sarah and Laura are your gurls for all FUN! These 2 ladies are amazing, We got massages and Karol at the spa took great care of our chocolate massages!!! AMAZING!!!! Highly recommend!

We always request a single room and never stay in a shared room. We requested a change of rooms as one of the rooms had a musty odor and smaller than the one we previously stayed-in. They put us in a room that was bigger and no odor.

I was lucky to have a double bed room with a view of the street. I liked the free spas and saunas.. which was perfect to revitalise after a long trip.. I really enjoyed my alcoholic beverage while cooling off also.. The help of the staff like Juanita and John for check ins, laundry, directions and knowledge of the city was very helpful. Also their patience, smiles and great communication in English really made things easy. Thanks to Vanessa I think her name was who came and introduced herself. I was sitting alone to invite me over to the table of other guests making me feel welcome was an important factor in travelling. From those interactions I ended up getting ideas from another guest who had been to my next destination..

I felt the service in terms of food was a little slow.. My expectations of food is really high working in 5 star type restaurants but that is expected if there aren't many staff available, so understandable. I don't believe there was air con in my room.. 202 I felt that I needed to open the window in order to let the room cool during the day hence letting the noise from the city street below.. bit it wasn't that bad.

Easy to find Access to the Sauna and Steam Bath (Which are some of the best that I have ever been to, and the server is a great guy who knows how to provide an excellent experience). Large building with multiple rooms. Separate restaurant and Lobby for those wanting parties, and quiet in the dorms for rest. The burgers of the restaurant are quite good. Spacious showers in many dormitories. It is close to some museums and a small shopping mall where you can get useful things. The wi-fi is decent. The hostel offers plenty of advice to explore the area, which can be quite useful to many. Good for networking Different entrainment options.

If you want to smoke, you have to go outside and do it in the middle of the throng, among which there is a plethora of beggars, which can turn unpleasant and even dangerous. The hostel should consider opening a rooftop. Except for two or three people, the staff (Lobby and restaurant) take my lowest rate. Lacking courteousness and care, being one of them (at the lobby) is quite a weird character and inspires discomfort. The living room feels like a second Sauna, they should consider installing an AC there. The lifts may need some maintenance and optimization.

Very comfortable hostel. Dorms with lockers, curtains and plugs by the beds. There was a small kitchen (microwave, sink and fridge), as well as a co-working room and lounge. Amazing spa (steam room and sauna) free to use as a guest - perfect to relax at the end of a long backpacking trip. Decent priced restaurant and nice common areas. Good location with food shops nearby and close to Monserrate. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, especially Juanita on reception who went out of her way to help resolve my booking problem, and the barman (sorry I don't know his name) who made us a special tea when I mentioned my boyfriend was feeling sick! I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a private room on the 6th floor. The room was huge, bathroom and shower were amazing. It was so quiet. John on reception made us feel so welcome as we had just arrived from Ireland totally exhausted. We cannot thank him enough. Breakfast was such good value and delicious. We also used the hydrotherapy pool for a small fee which was well worth it, we were the only ones there. Short 10 minute walk from the gold museum where most walking tours start. Really impressed with Viajero Bogota!

Maybe could have a fridge in the room to store water/snacks

Great hostel, with a spa and a lot of space in commom areas to work or chill. There is 4 to 5 different spaces and all are separated well enough so we don’t hear anything inside the accomodation. Plenty of activities within the hostel and recommendations of things to do. Has an boutique hotel feel. Staff is super nice, especially Yonfred who has been super helpful and always so smiling and warm!

Kitchen is too minimal to allow cooking: only a microwave, no plates or bowls that i have seen. That really limits what you can cook and mostly mean you will have to eat at the restaurant or outside.

We bookedd a private twin room. The room was very nice and very cool. Had a nice little court yard. The coolest thing about this hostel is that there is a spa attached. The steam room and sauna were included with our room. Great way to end our trip in Colombia.

My only complaint here and with all the Viajero I stayed at in Colombia is the price of waters. They over charge way too much for water. If you get a bottle of water at a Viajero in Colombia expect to pay 4/1 more for a bottle 1/4 of the size. The issue of water bottles in places like Colombia is a big one, they cause so much litter. I have stayed at many hostels which offer water refill stations for free. With the amount of travellers coming through, doing something like this helps drastcially cut back on plastic bottles.

The staff is incredible, amazing and truly a great group of people. Juanita at the front desk was amazing in helping to get an issue resolved with our room. Karen and Jay were our favorite servers/bartenders...when you stay here , give Karen a big hug...she is the best! Laura and Sarah are beautiful-spirited ladies and a great help for events and things to do. We got massages by Daisy and Dora...AWEMOME! Nubia, Wendy, Angela, and Jessica were great taking care of our room.
