Well kept rooms. Breakfast good.

A bit far from the centre. About 800 meters. Uber could not find the hotel. So we walked. We checked out one day earlier due to very bad weather. Somehow the hotel then tried to implicate that we did not checked in a all….trying to avoid commission to booking.com I gather. They also tried to avoid taxes by asking a 15% levy on our card payment. Do not approve of this behavior at all.

Driving in Costa Rica is a bit of a pain but once we arrived life was good again. The hotel was very nice and clean, the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The room was huge with a great view of the bay, and the pool was excellent. I would recommend staying here and if I'm ever back in the area it would be my first choice.

Getting there. The hotel did not offer an inclusive breakfast, but the restaurant was open.

Breakfast was excellent. Parts of it changed on a daily basis which was nice and there was enough variety to satisfy a mixture of vegetarians and meat eaters, as well as keeping the picky kids happy. The hotel was well situated with regard to town - far enough outside that noise was minimal, but close enough for easy dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kids loved a couple quick swims in the pool when we had a little extra time, and the pool was clean and well kept. One evening we heard monkeys hooting in the distance. Beautiful view of the volcano.

One time we got back from the daily adventures and parking was difficult. On our first arrival, it was hard to find the place. It would be nice if the hotel provide a map image on the booking site.

Lovely place, many birds around and very nice pool. We absolutely loved the breakfast and there were fresh juice every morning. Excellent location for La Fortuna, walking distance from the centre and restaurants.

The car park access was a bit tricky because of the construction work on the bridge, but the hotel was opening the gate to "shortcut" street so we didn't have to do miles to go around.

The location was great, the views were amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Cute dogs! Very clean with comfortable beds. Lovely hot showers. Tasty breakfast.Everything was great, even the cool pool was nice! Also the laundry service was very efficient and smelt amazing! 🥰

We didn't find anything we didn't like. Only suggestion is maybe a kettle in the room for big tea/coffee drinkers but then again there are a few great coffee shops in town.

Clean, spacious family sized room for 6, quiet, breakfast, view of volcano

WiFi was very spotty in room (could be a good thing if you have teens, lol), not walking distance from town, but fine if you have a car, towels need updating.

This place is a hidden gem with wonderful views right outside your room. It’s in great walking distance from down La Fortuna and all the things rainforest has to offer. This place is family owned and such a wonderful family and staff. Everyone was kind and welcoming. Breakfast was good too!

While I felt our room was pretty clean for most part I did notice and few spider webs in the bathroom. I would just suggest even more thorough cleaning. However, that is not that big of an issue being you are literally staying in the heart of rainforest.

Especially enjoyed the location, close enough to the town center to be able to walk there. yet on the edge of town surrounded by fields allowing for a stunning view to the volcano | mountain range

Would suggest to invest a bit more in furniture for around the pool. Would be nice if there were enough pool lounge chairs for all guests. Currently its a mixed bunch, not all as comfortable.

The breakfast was so delicious and prepared with a lot of love. The hotel is run by a family who are all very warm and accommodating. We were also able to have our laundry done, which was very helpful. The location is very good. You are not far from the center of town but still a bit out of the action. The green area of the hotel is also very nicely kept and beautifies every morning. Only the wifi could be a little better, especially in the outer rooms. Otherwise, I have nothing to say about it. My girlfriend and I had a very nice time. Pura Vida!

Located at the edge of LaFortuna downtown in a quite but 10 minutes walk to the middle of the city. Margarita who was taking care of breakfast was awesome. One day we were not impressed with the food choice and she made us separate eggs.
