All of the hotel employees were pleasant and helpful. I would give the service 5 stars except for the weak communication when the hotel shuttle wasn't waiting for us at the airport. We were happy with the breakfast they provided. Also, the pool and facilities looked very relaxing (we weren't there long enough to actually use any of it).

We arranged for the hotel's shuttle to pick us up from the airport. However, the whole process at the actual airport was unclear and confusing. We were at the correct waiting area, but there wasn't anyone with a "Country Inn" sign, nor was there a shuttle with a "Country Inn" logo. Eventually someone appeared and then summoned a shuttle, but it took awhile. Then when we got to the hotel, our room's window would not lock shut. We requested a different room since the maintenance person couldn't fix the window lock, which the hotel granted. Overall, the rooms were a bit shabby (bad paint jobs, smelled weird, electrical outlets were too loose to keep plugs in place, etc.). They felt more like rooms in a budget hotel.

The room and bathroom were clean, basic furniture, AC works.

Noisy, the room door was right at the staircase where you can hear people conversation, going up and down. I don't recommend the rooms by the stairs

For us this was the perfect place to stay to end our month in Costa Rica. It was super comfortable with great breakfast and a nice pool. The room is big with great shower and huge comfortable bed. The shuttle to the airport was comfortable and perfectly on time.

A few minutes walking from the hotel there is a mall with many different restaurants. Unfortunately they are all really expensive, we had our most expensive meal there of our whole trip. We didn’t get to try the restaurant at the hotel.

We loved the layout of the hotel, and our rooms had lofts, which was super fun for the kids. The location was super convenient, as was the shuttle to the airport. Large pool and patio area were great!

There was only one shuttle for our time, and no real organization besides “show up on time.” We ended up with a totally overloaded van, with luggage piled so high that my son had to keep it back with his head, and I really didn’t even get a seat — I had to go halfsies with one of my sons. Having a legit signup and running it more frequently would be helpful. The gallo pinto at breakfast was tasteless, which was a sad way to leave Costa Rica!

The only proper modern hotel in our stay in Costa Rica, modelled on the Western standards. Large room with a huge bed, table, chest of drawers, closet with iron and board, spacious bathroom with a powerfull shower - all in a good state. The buffet style breakfast was varied and tasty. Central pool looked big - although we didn't use it. There's an area with several restaurans nearby and hotel provides free shuttles to the aiport which was handy.

As with most properties we've stayed, sound insulation is quite poor and we could hear everything in the corridor in the evening, but thankfully no commotion at night.

very clean and comfortable beds. The staff is also incredible. They are very kind — and patient with all guests. Also: the shuttle to the airport— even when you have to catch the 6:15 am trip — is reliable.

There was an issue with housekeeping such that rooms weren’t ready for check-in at 3. The front desk staff was faced with a couple of complain-y people (Sadly, they were also Canadian) and they were so patient and professional. The outstanding staff included the gentleman who gave the bag valet service — and a kind housekeeper who offered help beyond her duties. So, of course we would have preferred to be able to check in on time, but not a terribly big deal & we will definitely staff here again.

Good restaurant, nice friendly service

Rooms need maintenance, loose/dirty shower head, poor lighting in 2nd bathroom. Poor/dangerous very steep stair design. Low-quality furniture in the downstairs living area. No kettle to make tea, hot water from coffee maker has coffee residue in water, yuk! Transfer bus to airport was supposed to leave 07.15 prompt. Driver waited for one inconsiderate guest, said by other passengers to be 'in the toilet', made us 10 minutes late leaving after which we hit heavy traffic! 07.15 is 07.15 people!

The first morning a rowdy flock of some kind of parrot woke me up. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were friendly. The front desk people spoke good English and were very helpful. I found out that my cell phone carrier doesn't work in Costa Rica. The front desk guided me to places within walking distance to exchange currency and get a Sim card. They even gave me a Spanish phrase or two to help out.

Everything met or exceeded our expectations based on their advertisement. It is close to the highway but the noise inside our room was minimal.

We had 3 people and were given a room with 2 baths and 2 rooms. They were spacious and clean. The breakfast room was lovely overlooking the pool and gardens. Breakfast was very good with eggs, cereal, fresh fruit. There were also costa rican dishes such as plantains, beans. Staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the hotel from the airport runs on the 45 such as 8:45, 9:45. So if you are there at 9pm you will have a 45 minute wait. Internet in the airport is sketchy but fine in the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location right by the airport and we used the free shuttle which was on time and very convenient! We had a room that wasn’t facing the busy road so it was quiet and exactly what we needed to try and get some rest before a long flight! We did eat at the restaurant which was nice but had limited options but there is a small complex a few minutes away which had other restaurants to choose from!

I would say it is maybe a bit expensive for what it is but then with the free shuttle to the airport it doesn’t seem as bad!
