The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise. In the states, an included breakfast is usually a buffet, and if you’re lucky, you get to make your own waffles. Here, you order from a menu with several delicious options.

No hot water in the sink. The shower shower was fine.

The location is great when you travel from Guanacaste to La Fortuna, especially if you don't want to drive at night. It's a mid-way stop for rest, very convenient. I'm not sure what you can do at that location, I know the Miravalles volcano is close, and there must be some touristic a activities I'm sure, since it's a very nice region.

It's little old, the check in guy is a little grumpy, and slow but he has a good side. jaja

It was walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, church, and town plaza. I chose to eat in the restaurant on-site and the food was good. The staff were friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. My room was comfortable and good-sized. There was secure parking.

Weak water pressure in the shower.

Even though my Español es malo, the staff went above and beyond to tend to my needs.

Although it was simple enough to go to the downstairs restaurant for café con leche, it would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room.

The restaurant at the hotel is really nice. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Nice staff. There was no AC in the room we had, so it was a little warm , the hotel provided us with extra fans though.

the food they offer is very good and tasty

I think in the second floor annex, if they could put real black out curtains, it would then be perfect. The 5 am morning sun shines strong thru the current curtains

Great location (roughly half way between Liberia airport and fortuna). Staff were super friendly! Good prices.

Was basic, rooms were dingy (but were clean).

Really nice staff, breakfast is good (not included). Rooms are well maintained and clean.

Swimming pool is very small, with only one broken lounging chaud available.

Room was nice clean , also staff was wonderful arrived around 8:45pm by that time the restaurant stopped cooking at 8:30 I believe but they still went ahead and made me something to eat real nice of them since everything else closes at 9 , also loved the food , parking is fine the area is safe for my standards they also have a gate to close off the area during the night, free WIFI just ask them the password if not, they just gave it to me once I had my room key

Had to play with the shower for the hot water found out on the second day which side it was and you had to wait a bit so it would heat up so if you didn't wait and kept trying to find the heat side ,I don't think I would of found it

The location is great! The hotel is modest but beautiful.

The furniture smelled a little and it is very windy there so the wind would whistle through the night.
