Location was wonderful, only 10 minutes from Pile Gate from the hotel by bus. View from the room was amazing, good food variety. Spa was nice. Staff was nice

Food was sometimes too dry. We were staying in room 413 on the last floor and we could hear the main AC system cooler from the rooftop, even during the night. It was a bit disturbing. The steam room was broken during our whole stay Furniture was a bit old, mattresses could be better

The clean and quiet indoor swinming pool abd jacuzzi The staff in the spa was courtious. The breakfast and dinner were good and varied. The hotel is clean. The room terrace overlooked a beautiful view of lapad. There was a kettle in the room. The hotel is near a bus stop of bus 4 to Pile gate.

They charge 6 euro a bottle of water and do nit provide tap water which is outragiuous consieribg the fact that a cooled water bottle cost up to a euro at every shop.

We loved breakfast lots of choice and complimentary prosecco was amazing. The number 4 bus stops right outside hotel and brings you right to the old town. A day ticket you can purchase from the shop next to hotel for 40kna and can be used for 24hrs.

The sun only hit the end of outdoor pool and not for a lot of the day. The rest of the pool was shaded. Maybe because of the time of year we travelled

Staff were wonderful in all departments during our week long stay...couldn't be more helpful. On the day of the wedding we were attending in Dubrovnik we needed a black dickie bow for our son as groomsman and the house keeper got one for us inside half an hour. Buffet dinner each evening was super value and buffet breakfast each morning had great variety including sparkling wine! The layout of the dining area both outdoors and indoors was conducive to being sociable and making new friends. A regular bus into the old town could be picked up just outside the hotel and cost only 2 euros into Dubrovnik. The beach was five minutes walk away and perfect to swim in. Restaurants and night life were just a short walk away from the hotel yet it was quiet at night to sleep in the hotel. The hotel pool, both indoors and outdoors was perfect too with relaxing loungers and umbrellas for shade.

There was nothing we did not like. From the receptionists, housekeeping staff to the waitresses and chef......all were so helpful, pleasant and kind. We would highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Dubrovnik.

The hotel was clean the beds were very comfortable and we had a lovely balcony looking out onto the bay. The breakfast every morning was nice with a mix of hot and cold options to chose from. We used the jacuzzi and sauna in the spa on our last day and it was lovely. There is an outside pool and indoor pool both which were perfect. The hotel is in an ideal location. The Lapad Bay Area has lovely restaurants and bars. The beach was less than a 3 minute walk in front of the hotel. The bus outside the hotel brings you to the old town in ten minutes. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

The bath/shower was quite dangerous as you have to step up into it. I think installing an anti slip bath mat might be beneficial.

Location is a one minute walk to the beach, a few minutes’ walk to the restaurant promenade and the bus stop to Old Town is very close to the front of the hotel. This location is better than the port and other nearby areas due to the access to beach/restaurants etc. The included breakfast has excellent variety and is plentiful. Aircon and wifi were excellent. Indoor and outdoor pools were great and not overcrowded.

We opted for dinner to be included at the hotel restaurant for convenience. Dinners were ok for four of the five nights - but avoid the seafood night if possible. The bbq night was the better food night. Lactose/dairy intolerance not well catered for with dessert despite informing the hotel of this intolerance. Getting out of the very tall bath/shower would be difficult and dangerous if you have mobility problems etc. Transfer to the Dubrovnik Airport was €42.

The whole experience was excellent. Polite staff, clean rooms, an excellent breakfast featuring fresh fruit, sparkling wine, great eggs, pancakes, and danish pastries. The location of the hotel was excellent, being a few steps away from the bus 4 that leads straight to old town. We enjoyed a bottle of sparkling for our anniversary upon check in, which was a great surprise. You have access to the nearby beach via hotel vis, and lapad beach is just a short walk away. Hotel also features a great pool (indoor and outdoor) sauna, jacuzzi.

We didn't try the hotel food for dinner, so can't judge that. Beds were quite hard, but choice of hard of soft pillows were provided

To be honest, we loved everything about this trip and this day at Hotel Uvala. We stayed on the fourth floor and we had a sea view the balcony faces North East so it was incredibly cool but you got the early morning sun and the late evening sun the Vista was just stunning and at night time you could see the cruise liners passing by the end of the Bay the catamarangs and sailboats coming in the islands in the distance Every morning when we would come back from. breakfast, which was an incredible buffet of fresh delicious food and even a very cheeky sparkling wine, our room would be clean and freshly made beds, pyjamas would be folded if I had to be extremely critical having a Chromecast facility on the television would have excelled my holiday but it's certainly didn't detract from it. We we ate in the hotel, we used the Spa facilities, we used the airport transfers, and in the morning, we had an extremely early tour pickup. The hotel provided us with a substantial takeaway lunch. Directly across from the hotel, their sister Hotel had direct access to a beach with sun lounges and umbrellas and a beach bar, which was so relaxing. Every member of the staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful polite. The hotel does have a more mature clientele, which meant that the hotel was extremely quiet and relaxed. You never heard any noise. The area is beautiful with plenty of restaurants and bars, lots of things for people to do a beautiful walkway around the bay incredibly safe There were many weddings taking place in our week stay which did not interfere at all with our experience directly outside the hotel is the bus stop to take you to the Old Town a few minutes down the road there is a very large supermarket and a taxi Bay there is plenty of trip vendors they're really isn't anything missing from either the hotel or the location in Lapad

We didn't like having to leave and would recommend adding a TV casting to the services it would have been nice to be able to cast Netflix or Disney Plus or Spotify when we were in the room to enhance our in room experience

The view in the room was very nice (ocean)! Airconditiom was extremelly efficient. Room cleaning was really good! There was good fridge in the room. Breakfast was really good. The blackout curtains darkened well and there was no noise from outside. The balcony door was very soundproof. The location of the hotel was excellent. There was a bus stop in front of the hotel and a public beach in front.

The door to the corridor in the room was not soundproof. There was a noise from the hallway. We went one night at the hotel with a traditional with a Croatian buffet dinner. The hot dishes were dry and overcooked and the dessert was like rubber. We didn't go a second time.

The pool area was spotless and very well maintained, rooms where big, the staff in all parts of the hotel where exceptional. Housekeeping was excellent especially Natasha, who couldnt have been any more helpful to us and our girls. Breakfast was superb , great variety and something for everyone, the restaurant in the evening had a great variety but did not suit our tastes. The Spa was tranquill and so relaxing and we loved our treatments., We had a sea view and a balcony which was spectacular morning or evening.

The dinner menu could be amended with more variety . .
