The location is very good. There is a restaurant downstairs, and also a lot of restaurants in the same street. Also a beer brewery around the corner. There is a shopping mall 5 min away. A lot of buses passing by and the bus terminal is 10 min away. I also walked to the old town, it was about 35 min walk. The stuff is very friendly. Nina is an excellent host, always there to help out with whatever you need and it is nice to chat with her. Breakfast is nice too. I would definatelly come back. 😊

Great location very close to the boats and easy to find in the port near the Gruz Market and bus stop. It was on top of a restaurant and we were offered a discount (though it is a different business and we didn't have time go eat there). The breakfasts were lovely - not a full cooked breakfast but continental style, and we had some lovely home-made banana bread - we certainly didn't go hungry! Also Nespresso machine with pods was a bonus! Air con in room was nice, also to have a fridge. Housekeeper was always very friendly and attentive, and communicated well. Was good that we could leave our bags after check-out for the afternoon.

Our room was up a couple of flights of stairs which was a little difficult with all our bags. Shower was a little small. We had to call the housekeeper on arrival to let us in as we were not on the internet, however she came very quickly and seemed always on call. Once checked in, all was fine when we had the key.

Excellent location by cruise terminal and lots of buses at 2 euro to go to centre of Dubrovnik. Welcoming host and super breakfast especially as I am diabetic and there was plenty of eggs ham cheese as well as usual continental breakfast. The restaurant downstairs was good too and we were able to leave our luggage after we vacated our room until we needed to go to the cruise terminal.

Room was small as was the bathroom but adequate and the beds were very comfortable. We were on the front so there was some noise from the road although it wasn't too bad. Had to climb up steps to the rooms although the host helped with our luggage as I am disabled.

We overall had a good experience. The host was very friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel and rooms is a bit outdated, but everything was very clean. The location was convenient for getting around (with bus stop nearby).

At times, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. It wasn’t constant, but noticeable enough to mention. One small downside was that there were no duvets, only blankets.

Very close to everything,buses ,market,cafes,easily catch a bus to old town or the walk is lovely ¬ too hilly ,about 30mins walk.location is right beside harbour where u can catch a boat to the islands,wonderful day trip..very clean & good breakfast...wonderful host..fresh towels daily..we stayed a week here & would def recommend😀

Pillows & blankets were not great but that cud be my preference. Rooms cud do with updating but bed was comfy & very clean

The location was great - near the marina, several restaurants, kiosk to buy bus tickets, bus stops! The rooms were just big enough but understood that because of when it was built, it was appropriate. The windows blocked most of the outside noise! The air condition was efficient and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Would have liked another pillow or firmer pillows. Entrance to the hotel from the street was tad difficult as one has to enter thru the restaurant downstairs (i understood that at one time, both were run by the same people).

The property is managed on a day to day basis by a lady named Nina. She is a gem! She will help you in any way she can. She keeps the place spotless and always has a smile. She is one of those people that even if you didn’t like a place it would be hard to give it a bad rating simply because of her. Fortunately my stay there was an enjoyable experience

The WiFi was spotty at best

Breakfast was self service buffet but it was good. A nice range. The host Nina was so kind and friendly . Easy to get to bus station/port.

Bathroom is a little dated. Close to a bar/venue that was playing late music- if you are used to the quiet bring earplugs (it may have just been that one night).

Villa Amfora was perfect for our 3 day trip to Dubrovnik. It was clean, tidy and in the perfect location. The bus stops were right outside, buses were going regularly. It was also a perfect location for any boat trips as it is right on the marina. The housekeeper Nina made our stay so much easier, and was more than helpful. We couldn’t recommend Villa Amfora enough.

The only fault we had was that there was no balcony, however this wasn’t a necessity for our short stay.

Location is very convenient-close to bus station, so you can get at the Old Town in less than 10 minutes. Staff was wonderful! We’re contacted few times for our arrival & they offered rides from/to airport. Nina was so helpful & kind. She explained us how to get around, buses, prices, etc. Breakfast was included & it was way more than we’re expected! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.😊

Room & bathroom are on the small side, but we stayed only one night, so it didn’t bother us as much.
