Convenient location - the whole Pietermaai is within walking/cycling distance.

I liked the bed & bike concept, so I chose this property. I would have expected the bikes to be included in the room charge. However, 15 USD per week is not a big deal. What disappointed me was the status of the bikes. They'd deserve proper and regular maintenance. I had a chance to test bikes at the sibling hotel - B&B Jan Thiel. Those were even worse. None of them was fully functional. But if you don't need a bike for your vacation, this is a perfect spot to stay.

It was amazing, very comfortable, clean, the staff was exceptional, and its located in a very central area where you can walk to restaurants and the Queen Emma bridge with no issue.

If I were to nick pick I would say that the rooms were probably a 7/10, and it would be nice if they would sell sometimes to eat, I arrived late and at the time of arrival I couldn’t find any restaurants or groceries opened. I had traveled all day and hadn’t had lunch and had to go to bed without eating. This is something I wasn’t aware before hand, that establishments closed so early.

I booked the six-bunk mixed bedroom. The bunk was soooo comfortable with individual electric plugs and a light. It had a firm but comfortable mattress. There were two storage lockers. The location is fantastic for the tourist area. The main Punda Bus stop is a short walk away along with the main town of Willemstad. Great internet and a common area to work. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bunk shade was difficult to lower and raise so I was concerned that I would disturb the other guests in the room. Showers left a puddle of water outside of the shower due to poor drainage and constant dripping.

The staff is very helpful, they are always there to help the guests when needed. The beds are super comfortable and clean, same for the toilets.

I found invasive when the staff enters in the room and don't knock on the door. It would be lovely if they knocked first before going in the room, as we could be changing, for example, and feel uncomfortable with the situation. The kitchen could have a stove, so the guests could be able to cook their own food, as at times, eating out every night can be expensive. I understand that the hostel needs a policy regarding renting the bikes, however, freezing $100 for security for just a day use is too much. Plus, it doesn't take 10 working for the frozen $100 to get back to the account, it takes 30 working days. This also needs to be better explained when guests decide to rent a bike.

The kitchen was a mess, had no stove, it was very full and not so clean (but tolerable). My bed had a big window on the side with no curtain, so it was clear all the time (also at night because of the street lights), this was a little uncomfortable

What I like: + clean + comfortable + cheap + city center , everything walking distance + friendly receptionist + daily rental bike for $5

What I don’t like : Too much noise ( no Sound proof walls & windows) I start hearing noises from bathrooms & showers around 5-6am. There is a restaurant connected to bed & bike therefore so many people are going in & out until 11pm and crowded & noisy

It’s the best budget option for accommodation on Curaçao. The hostel is very beautiful and clean, the dorm with 16 beds didn’t actually feel like a dorm because it’s more like a cabin style with lots of privacy. It’s also very near to everything.

Be ready to pay much more than Booking shows. They charge a tax and cleaning fee that made + 13$ more for 3 nights. I asked them before booking the hostel if the price on booking is the final price they said yea and then said that booking doesn’t show those fees…disappointing so they should write it somewhere in a note. None of the door in the bathrooms and showers downstairs close so don’t expect much privacy and there are tons of mosquitoes in the bathrooms. The staff wasn’t so friendly except one lady who checked me in she was wonderful the rest looked like being bothered by the guests.

Lovely place to stay, it has many restaurants around, youve got to walk a bit but no biggie. There is like this hidden beach really near by you could find it on google as "punda beach", it is only like the corner of a deck but its lovely. Definitely staying here if i ever go back

the staff could be more into customer service, i mean they try their best but sometimes their way to help you is not the best one or does not fix your proble,

I stayed in an individual bedroom and it was ver very comfy. Good space, lot of drawers and very confortable bed. Location is great, in a quiet street nearby many good bars. The fact that we can rent a car at the hostel is a plus! Curaçao and the hostel are so good that I extended my stay.

Staff at the front desk was not very friendly. Most of them really looked "two tired" to help us. Every guest that I talked about this, had the same opinion. Of course, there was exceptions: Shakeena is great and Hope was very helpful solving a problem with a car with flat tires.
