The Room was fantastic, had great views and was super comfortable. The location was great and the availability of sun beds was also great (you had ownership of your sunbed for your entire trip). The buffet breakfast was pretty good with a decent amount of choices. The a la carte restaurants were pretty good, especially Immenso, which had the best quality of food and the best flavours. No kids meant it was a totally relaxing stay.

The buffet dinner was generally not great. The cuisine themed nights (French, Italian, Indian, etc) were far from authentic and most nights the meat options tended to be a little dry. This was the most disappointing part of our stay as we were staying on a half board basis so dinner at the hotel seemed like a good option, but as food lovers, we were left feeling flat about these options. As mentioned above, the a la carte restaurants were better, although only Immenso had particularly great flavours. Limited reservations available at the restaurants means I would advise booking as soon as you arrive. The limited gym facilities and size means you need to book your time slots and if there are 3 people in there already it feels a little cramped.

I had an amazing stay! The cleanliness of the hotel was truly impressive—everything was spotless and well-maintained. The breakfasts were delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options to choose from each morning. My room was extremely comfortable, featuring a modern lighting system and automatic curtains, which added to the convenience and luxury. On top of that, the view from my room was breathtaking, making my stay even more memorable.

The bathroom was uncomfortable, and the bathtub, meant to be a luxury, felt impractical with its view of a construction site and parking lot.

Beatiful hotel for a relaxed and quiet holidays for couples. Stunning sea and sunset views from the room (we had the room on 4 floor), delicious breakfast with a lot of options and excellent service. We had half board and one of the nights had truly amazing food experience in one of a la carte restaurants (Asian). I wish I could do all three of them ☺️ Staff are very nice and helpful. A lot of small, but very nice and valuable touches.. Hope to be back!

Outside pools are not heated which makes it impossible to use/enjoy them during colder periods. Single beds are a bit too small and narrow were matrasses not super comfortable to our liking

-modern, spacious and quiet room -great location -enough parking spaces -very good dinners (à la carte restaurants and Ezaria) -great coctails in Selene Bar -help in organizing birthday surprises for my partner

-very cold water in the outdoor pools and cool in the indoor pool -the beach next to the hotel is a public beach -some rooms definitely do not have the view you can see in the photos on the booking.com -if you are sensitive to noise and tobacco smoke, do not choose the sun loungers in the first row right next to the promenade -according to the spa menu, our "Signature Evera Spa Massage" should include a choice of aromatic oils but unfortunately no one even asked us about it

Superb staff, literally every person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Hotel has good facilities and 4 restaurants. Buffet food was good but not awesome. Food in the Nocturne and Immenso restaurants was very good indeed. Really loved that you get to choose your sun beds and they are always there for you whenever you need them. Can change if you are bored with the position. Brilliant! Every Hotel should do this. Add to this the 'button' next to your sun bed which summoned a member of staff to order drinks was 'dangerous' as you just kept ordering but was a lovely touch. Spa was super and enjoyed 4 massages including couples massages. Hairdresser was a boon for my wife too. Wonderful to sit on your balcony and watch the sunsets over the sea. 10 minute walk along the sea to the port with bars and cafes, great position.

They need to tell EVERY guest that the a la carte restaurants need to be booked well in advance. We had read this in a review and pre-booked, but many guests we spoke to had not been told and struggled to get into the nice restaurants.

The hotel was beautiful - all rooms facing the sea. Large rooms and balcony, where you can watch the sunset over the sea towards the town. Two wonderful outdoor pools. You get allocated a sunbed on arrival and its yours for the duration, so no fighting for a sunbed at 7am. You can change if you prefer a different location. The speciality restaurants were wonderful. Buffet restaurants were hit and miss depending on the menu of the day. French and Cypriot day had brilliant food, Indian and Oriental, not so much. However, lots of choice. Breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of choice. Lovely indoor pool and spa area. Great lounge area both inside and out. The hotel was full but it never seemed crowded. Also it was surprisingly quiet. Everyone very respectful and no children. The staff were so helpful, especially Mariana, the lady who manages the sunbed allocation.

Bed a little uncomfortable for me, but that's a personal choice. I wasn't keen on the Indian and Oriental buffets but again, that's personal. Very little not to like at this hotel.

If you are looking for #1 hotel in Paphos – you found it! Everything, starting from the very late check in till the late check out was just perfect. The room is spotless and being cleaned twice a day, with complimentary chocolate and water every time. The breakfast is very diverse and tasty, with very good coffee (which is not something to be light-headed about😊 SPA treatments are amazing (go for the signature AMAVI treatment – it’s a bliss) The fact that you have your sunbed for all the stay is genius. The location is wonderful – just above very clean and pleasant beach, and with great proximity to lots of restaurants and coffee-shops at the Paphos harbor. The Kings Avenue shopping mall is about 25 minutes' walk from the hotel. But above all that – the service! You can feel it in every question, conversation, gesture – guests wellbeing is the priority. Personally want to thank to Diana Ivanova – guest relationship manager – for being there and making the beyond expectation effort to make me feel that I made the perfect choice for my vacation. Do not contemplate, you will have the time of your life at AMAVI property. I am sure will be back there!

This was the perfect hotel for us to rest and relax in. We'd booked a room ages ago to celebrate my 75th birthday, but as it turned out my wife and I needed recuperation as we were getting over long-term upper respitory infections and the Amavi with its beautiful, almost tropical gardens were the ideal setting for resetting our energy levels on sunbeds that were allocated to you for the week. Yes, we were fortunate with the lovely weather too - 27C every day for the week. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, too, with an additional servicing of rooms in the evening.

It seems churlish to be negative in any respect about this lovely modern hotel, but in the buffet restaurant we think it would have been better to not have themed meals at night. Also we found having our plates or dishes whipped away from us by waiters as soon as we put our cutlery down after finishing our meal (and in one case before!) was a little over-efficient. However, it wouldn't stop us from choosing the Amavi Hotel again in the future.

Very stylish, modern hotel. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained both inside and out, with lovely landscaping. Great selection of dishes at both breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant. Premium plus dining offered excellent value as it included good choice of wine by the bottle or alternative drinks, plus coffee. Included the free option to dine one night in the a-la-carte restaurant which offered an excellent tasting menu. Some very friendly waiting staff (especially Stella!) Location was very good with access directly onto the promenade which enabled a 20 minute stroll into town. Fabulous corner room which gave us a huge wrap around balcony with views of town and amazing sunsets.

We found the entrance a little confusing as you are immediately confronted by a lift and no visible view of the reception. You have to follow signs through doors into a large lounge where the reception desk is located. There is an option to order breakfast 'specials' with the waiting staff. However, these were delivered too quickly before we had a chance to finish any cereals or fruit and were therefore cold by the time we got to them. During the whole stay, there was no visible sign of, or interaction with, any Management checking on guests, which I find unusual in a 5 star hotel.

I loved how the staff made us feel comfortable, during our dinner and breakfast. Also, because it was my girlfriend's birthday the hotel as a surprise noticed it and they bought us a birthday cake in our room. It was such a great suprise that made my girlfriend's day even more special.

Everything was great but the only facility that made me less comfortable was the pool. There were some pool beds that no one was using and there were only dirty towels and no one came to pick them up. Also, there were no bathrobes in our room.
