A stylish modernist building renovated with care for the spirit and architectonic detail. The location is great, close to the central bus station, with a tram and bus stop just outside, and waling distance from the Old Town. Breakfast is nice, feels almost homemade which is rare in hotels. The swimming pool in the same building is a great asset, especially in the summer.

The information on Booking could be more specific about the fact that the pool is a separate company, guests have to pay and use it only when it is open to the public - meaning anyone, so it gets pretty crowded. It is still great to have it in the same building but be aware that you will likely be swimming in a queue and you will meet school trips (with female teachers in the men's changing rooms and showers because why not...) - A detail perhaps but the cleaning staff should not switch off the electricity in the room if the guests have things in the fridge...

Excellent location, friendly service, great breakfasts daily.

At the time of booking, there was no note that if you don't book directly thru the hotel t swimming pool and gym facilities are not included.

Spacious room with chiller, coffee and electric kettle provided. Local breakfast with good assortment provided. Good location to all sightseeing areas, all within walking distances.

Toilet’s heater didn’t work so it was cold during winter. Room only has 1 chair. A bit far from central station. Do note that there’s another station near the hotel but all the intercity trains only stop at the central station. This fact isn’t obvious in any description when browsing about the hotel unless you know Prague well. As the pavement was made of cobblestones, so it’s tough to push your luggage and it took me 45mins to walk to the hotel although google stated 15mins.

The staff were great Adam and Alex made us feel welcome straight away and gave us a range of tips. The room is big we had three beds in there and still had plenty of room. The theme is minimalistic so be aware.

The quality of the breakfast was a little underwhelming and on the last day the timing changed by 30 mins which resulted in one of our group members missing breakfast. This should have been communicated beforehand. You should also note the swimming pool does not belong to the hotel and has to be paid for in cash. There is also a deposit requirement so bring extra.

Plus Points: - Reception staff are are friendly and helpful. - 24x7 open reception. - Useful map of the city available at the reception for free. - Amazing breakfast (saw some comments about repetetive breakfast dishes, which are not understandble. for me). - Unlike many hotels, the breakfast dishes were continously replenished. Late wakers like me also had food available even at 10 AM. - Breakfast is open till 10:30. - The water temperature control in the bathroom was perfect. - Curreny exchange office (best reates than those in the old town) & Public Transport right opposite to Hotel - Availability of Kettle in the room - Walkable distance to Old town / Jewish Town (~1 to 2 KM) - Bauhaus design style in the entire Hotel.( depends upon personal preference) - The place was VERY CLEAN even tough the style might look a bit date for some people.

Negatives ( minor and understandable though): 1. I had visited Prague in mid Aug when it was 33 °C outside. So the nights were also relatively warm. The lack of airconditioning in my room was really felt. We were provided with a small tablefaan. So had to open the winds and ventilate for an hour to cool the room down in the night. 2. There is no ironing box or stand in the room and it is a paid service (1 Shirt's ironing price was 70 CK). But maybe this is normal in Czech, but not so in Germany.

The location is great, it’s close to the city center, a 5 minute walk from bus station and right in front of the hotel there is a tram station which is very convenient. The room was bigger than expected, very clean, warm and cozy. The view from the room was also great. The included breakfast had a lot of options so you will not leave hungry. The stuff was certainly helpful and polite from the very beginning, especially a big thank you to Alexander, he was very kind to us. Overall the experience was great, I recommend staying here

You can hear the trams a bit but it doesn’t make the stay worse. Nothing else.

wonderful central location , next to tram stop and walking distance from Florence Metro, just where central bus station close by. Very nice location if you have plans to travel outside Prague city by Public transport. buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of choices, specially the home baked cakes were very tasty

Inside the building gets very warm, and no AC but hotel has provided a fan therefore it was OK Also we had to stay in a long queue for morning breakfast buffet, it was OK for us since we did not have plans for the day but if we were to catch a train or any planned activity, it would have been a problem

Location, friendliness of the staff and the comfortable big bed were a big plus. It was also very clean and breakfast was everything we needed (good hard boiled eggs too). The last day I became really sick but because of Christmas day, there wasn't a late checkout option available. The lady of the front desk made me a tea with fresh lemon and was worried about me while we spent our afternoon, waiting for our taxi, in the lobby seats. We would definitely come back to this hotel if we return to Prague and also recommend it to friends and family.

When we took a shower in the morning, there wasn't much water pressure. Also it changed very quick from boiling hot to ice cold. We didn't have that problem in the evening. I also found a little minuscule blood spot on my duvet.

This Art Deco style hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the a landmark known as the "Powder Gate" and so is very handy for exploring Prague. It's on a main street with shops (Lidl) and restaurants around. The room was clean and large enough for 3 and a very large choice of breakfast was included. The price for a triple room was £110 per night which I thought was very good value for money in a capital city. We were situated at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet. There was no aircon but fortunately the temperature in late September was around the 20-24C range and so we didn't need it. A massive choice of breakfast was offered, no croissant and jam here! There were: cereals, yoghurt, bread, jams, bacon, eggs, sausages, rice, tomatoes, bowls of fruit. You couldn't ask for more! I advise going early or later as the dinning room got very busy. However the staff were efficient at clearing dishes away and the door manager got people seated as soon as possible. Some places would charge 15Euros each for a breakfast like this!! The staff at reception were helpful and I'd definitely stay there again.

The only downer (and it's not that bad), is that if you arrived about 30 minutes after breakfast started, the dining room was full and we had to wait 20 mins for a table....but if you aren't in a rush.....it wouldn't matter.

We loved the functionalist architecture and interior of the hotel! Room was nice and clean, with just enough space. Bathroom was also clean. Breakfasts were great with enough choice. Maybe a bit more fruit wouldn't hurt. We didn't get to visit the gym or pool, hopefully we'll fix that in the future

We had a room facing the road, which has relatively many cars and trams. We're not used to this kind of noise so it got a bit hard to sleep well. If you want to have a good night's rest, tell the hotel in advance.
