Friendly staff and clean hotel. Restaurants nearby with good food to a decent price.

Breakfast starts at 7:30, could open a little earlier, other that I only have positive things to say.

1. Charge for using AC, which I did not read in the fineprints. 2. The swimming pool is also a paid service. In booking.com sauna is flagged as paid however swimming as included service. So either booking.com is wrong or the hotel is trying to earn more money. 3. 24 Euro additional city tax, also excluded from booking.com quoted price. If you add all the price then there are many better options, which I filtered out because of the hotel hidden charges.

Good location, just about 20 minutes away from the city center. Great value for money. The room was big and breakfast had enough different stuff to choose from. The staff was friendly.

We got clean towels only the first day which we had to use for 6 days. Shower gel and shampoo were provided but in very tiny portions. These are the only cons for our experience with the hotel.

Place was clean, it has good connection with public transportation to city center. Breakfast was correct. Staff was helpful. Beds were comfortable. It's value for money given that we traveled in high holiday season.

I'm not sure it is a 4 star hotel as it is a a bit antiquated. While the bathroom was being cleaned daily, towels were not changed and beds were not made, which was a bit weird. I would have enjoyed that the Spa area was free of charge ( we didn't notice that it was an additional cost when we booked it ) . Overall, it was adequate for the price we paid.

Hotel was really nice with cosy rooms and really good breakfast - one day during our 3-night stay there was even Pavlova cake available in dessert menu, which melted my heart completely. Everything was tasty and every day it was some changes in menu not to be bored from food. My family used such a hotel service as sauna&pool - we liked it and also that it was possible to use privately. Staff was very friendly and welcoming also to small naughty kids. The room was comfortable enough for two people and it was thoroughly clean throughout our whole stay. Breakfast was satisfying and good value overall for what I paid. Location is close to a pretty well connected tram station, but also close enough to the city center for my wife and I to walk (15-20min to Narodni Muzeum and Wenceslas square).

The room did not have A/C and I can see how that could be an issue in the hotter months of summer, but it had a fan and it was good enough during our stay. You can only pay the city tax in cash (EUR or CZK) but other than that it was a good place to stay.

"I cannot praise the staff enough for their exceptional service! Despite being a few minutes late for breakfast, they graciously accommodated me. Moreover, when my train was rescheduled, resulting in a late check-in (which I had informed them about in advance), they were still there to ensure a seamless process. In my single room, I found the space a bit cramped. My large suitcase took up most of the available space, leaving little room to move around comfortably. A slightly larger room would have been more accommodating.

The staff (ALL INCLUDING THE CLEANERS) was very friendly and helpful all the time - KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP.

The doors/rooms could be made sound proof. All that was happening in the corridors outside the room could be heard loud and clear. Though of little importance, the TV reception/channels could be made digital and NOT just have the free channels only in Czech language. Some cable TV package would be awesome to have these days like in most 4 Star Hotels

I have stayed at Askania before. I like the nice and easy welcoming from the staff, the clean rooms, comfortable bed and bathroom, a good breakfast to begin the day with. Normal and high expectations. The hotel and the staff deliver what's expected. Also I like the calm area around the hotel. Surroundings might be a bit of the mainstream tourist area. But it is closer than you think. As a tourist, simply buy a 3 day card for Public Transport, I recommend the "pid litacka" app for time tables, online digital tickets, and map facilities which complete your way along the Metro and Trams, https://app.pidlitacka.cz/en/faq

The room was beautiful, comfortable and airy. The décor is simple and refreshing. When we first arrived we thought the hotel will be old-fashioned but they really exceeded our expectations. The staff were polite and helpful, very friendly too and we'd like to give a special mention to the manager Viktorie, to Gail and Yeva (we believe that's how their names are spelt), not forgetting the kitchen staff with their fabulous breakfast and the housekeeping. We were really impressed with the staff and facilities. The sauna and pool were splendid and was a lovely ending to our stay. Would recommend to anyone!
