It was a really nice hotel. The room was spacious, clean and (in my opinion) beautifully furnished and designed. The bathroom was clean as well. We had everything we needed for our stay, the staff even lent us a hairblower. Although the floor creaks sometimes, you can't really hear it from the other rooms and it was peaceful during the night, no disturbances. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They let us leave the luggage in the hotel until our departure on the last day. The breakfast was nice as well, you could choose from a variety of savory and sweet foods. Sometimes, some things like vegetables or juice ran out but they were replenished after a while. The location is great, near underground station, tram station and the city centre. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, adequate for the price.

This is a fabulous 3 star hotel - it is as described. The staff we chatted to were very helpful with directions, restaurant suggestions and anything we needed… even the bistro across the street gave us a bucket of ice to cool out drinks down! We stayed 3 nights in a hot July, although there was no air conditioning, the hotel had a fan in the room and we were very comfortable. We enjoyed the easy access to all tram stops and in about 15 minutes we were in old town, the cathedral or on the river front! The best part for us was leaving the hustle and bustle of the tourist zone and walking down quiet streets at the end of some long days! It was very relaxing. The breakfast that was included was excellent - we had many choices of meat, breads, muffins, fruit, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausages and a great coffee/espresso machine! We loved our stay at the Hotel Klara - thank you so much!

The hotel is dated, but kind of adds to the charm if you look at it that way! If you have a car, you’re parking a bit away, but that wasn’t a real problem since the hotel is in a residential area.

The beds were excellent, extremely comfortable..the staff were friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Our suitcase broke at the start of our trip and they happily disposed of it with no issue. The breakfast was continental style and a perfect start to the day. We arrived.late in the evening and they sorted our stay quickly and efficiently and allowed us to sort.out the details in the morning which was very kind.

Nothing specific at all really. The hotel was a.little.dated but that's all you could say.

We liked the location of the hotel, it is near the city centre, and there is a station for city transportation nearby. Also, in the area you can find a lot of fast food, bars and markets that are cheaper than in the city centre. The room was clean and warm. Also, the breakfast was very good.

We didn't like the location of the parking, it was too far away from the hotel and it was on the plot of land, it was not a real parking. Also, the two women we encountered on the reception were very unpolite. One woman from the reception was asking us every day when are we going home? That was very unpleasant.

The building is beautifully restored as a hotel. It is clean and the staff are friendly. We were initially placed in a room on the 5th floor but this was difficult due to my fear of elevators. The reception desk did not hesitate to change the room when we asked and put us on the 2nd floor instead. Both rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is located on the other side of the river away from the busy old town square, but the tram stop is situated just outside of the hotel and the location was perfect - just up the road from Vyaviste where the Arctic Monkeys were playing, which was the reason for our visit. The trams and subway systems are cheap and easy to use and having stayed previously in Prague I much preferred being on this side of the river at Hotel Klara. We also discovered the small "Bistro and Shop" across the road (I can't remember the name of it), which we would not have known about otherwise - delicious food, relaxed environment and highly recommend the Tokyo Gin Fizz !

Air-conditioning would have been a huge bonus since it was the height of summer and the heat was stifling, however it is not always the case in Prague and it is of course understandable why air-conditioning has not been fitted in such a beautiful old building. The hotel however did have desk fans in all of the rooms, we kept the curtains closed during the day and we were fine

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near public transport and is within walking distance of the old town and other spots. The neighbourhood where the hotel is located is worth exploring and filled with little gems like a beer garden in a park and nice restaurants. I would definitely come here again!

The breakfast was nice, but the options were limited.

The hotel was at a great location, very close to the center and in a beautiful neighborhood. There were also several tram lines going both to the center and to the train station less than 5 minutes walk away. The customer service was great, everybody was really friendly. The room was very big - with armchairs and a desk, as well as with very comfortable bed and great Wi-Fi. A great value for the price.

The breakfast could be more varied. The view from the room was to a backyard.

The shower faucet I had to hand hold which I didnt like. There was no information in the room about the wifi, I asked the woman in the reception outside when I was leaving what the password was, she told me but it was wrong and she told me I had to be inside the building. I was there for 3 nights and didnt have wifi because I was there for work and never at the time the reception was open

Very friendly personel. Especially the blond lady who understood and requested to be communicated in Polish. Thank you for the hospitality. I was very pleased when allowed to leave my bag in the storage for most of the day after my check out time. Very nice of you. The overall evaluation is good as for 3star hotel.

I would change the pillow in the room no. 13 as it looks like very wornout. I could use it though.

We came to this hotel after a bad experience in another place but in the end, we were very glad that we came there. I requested to check in early and they allowed me to do so. It's a typical hotel room with a very comfortable bed. The room and the bathroom were clean, there was a TV with Czech channels and a table with 2 rolling chairs. There was no noise during our stay. The location is just great, it's around the corner from the tram stop and the National Gallery Prague building (where you can find the original Van Gogh painting) is 2 min walk from the hotel. There is costa coffee and a bistro (called loving) nearby that offers great vegan meals. We also talked with the receptionist and checked out very early in the morning (4 am) by leaving the keys in the room as the reception closes around 11 pm, so no problem with that as well.
