The location is excellent, the room (I took "Standard") was quite small but well furnished (which made it crammed, and this can be a problem for a couple staying in such a room, but I was alone), and the desk was particularly helpful as I had to work part of the time. Internet connection was very good. The staff was pleasant (note that the reception is open only from 9AM to 9PM so they cannot be helpful if you need assistance at night - they do wait for late arrivals though).

I stayed 6 nights, during which time the carpet in my room was not vacuumed even once (and it wasn't terribly clean when I got the room in the first place...). The breakfast is a disgrace - I hadn't taken it as part of my booking and paid separately for a single breakfast - admittedly, the price was just 10 euros but I would have been happy to pay 15 and get more than the very meagre selection offered. There are breakfast alternatives around the hotel, but on Sunday, for example, breakfast at the hotel could have been helpful as many places around the hotel open late. Please also note that the lifts stop only between floors, so you always have some stairs to climb, which may be a problem for some.

staff were great, beds were comfy

The fridge in the room was too loud and there was creaking of floorboards like someone walking outside our door causing my partner to spend the whole night leaping out of bed and jerking the door open only to find no one there. This went on ALL NIGHT so we actually got no sleep whatsoever and ended up walking to Narodni Trida to try and find ourselves a coffee in the early hours and then leaving to get an earlier train home. Also there was no bar to speak of. We did manage to get a can of beer and a glass but we thought there was an actual bar.

The location was absolutely fantastic. It was so central and closely located to any possible monuments you would want to visit in Prague. As a group of girls travelling for a girls trip it was also walking distance to any food bars or clubs which made us feel so safe leaving and coming home each night. I could not fault it it was perfectly located. The staff were also very helpful and friendly and the access to the hotel felt very secure at night especially.

Nothing. I have no faults about our stay here.

Lovely personnel. Easy to communicate. Quite convenient experience.

Very nice on the inside. kind of over-the-top with the gold trimming, and kind of gaudy interior design of the rooms. But that is also what made it so cool. Very clean and comfortable, and the location cannot be beat.

Unfortunately there is no parking. You have to find a spot in the area with blue painted lines, and give your plate number to the front office. This is supposed to "register" your car when the meter maids check. I guess it worked, but it was kind of expensive, and the car was sitting on the street all night.

Warm and quiet room - compare to the Grand Hotel Prague Towers, I stayed previous night. Comfortable bed. Warm bathroom and warm shower. Love the authentic character of the building and deco and of course great location :) Thank you so much! Izabela

There was a little bit of drains smell in the bathroom, and also on the other street. Maybe there is some issue with a drains in Old Town. Luckily, I could close the door and sleep well, so no worries.

Fantastic location in the centre of the old town, yet surprisingly peaceful at night. We didn't hear very much noise from the other hotel guests either. We didn't go to breakfast because we prefer going out for brunch, but did appreciate the very quiet fridge in the room. The bathroom and bedding were clean as you would expect. The guy on reception was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips for places to eat and storing our luggage for us before checking in/after checking out.

To be picky, maybe it would have been nice to have a mattress cover on the bed under the sheet. At least the mattresses looked clean.

The location is the best You're right in the middle of the old town. 2 mins walk to the Charles Bridge, 4 mins walk into the old town square. and approx 25 mins walk to the castle and the cathedral. Can't beat the location. I didn't try the in house restaurant, but plenty to choose from in the vicinity.

depending what season you go, you may hear drunken behavior outside through the window in the early hours.

The accommodation was great, I liked that the accommodation is located near all the sights and is on a great street that is quiet. All sights are nearby, restaurants and shops.

When I came to check in, I didn't like that I had to wait a long time. The reception is not open 24/7 as written on the website. But it is open as early as nine o'clock, which is missing. Another thing missing is that there is no kettle in the room, you can't even make tea, if you want it you have to pay €20 for renting it, which is stupid.

Great location, the house has this rustic flare, the beds were comfortable and the size of the room is very decent. All and all- would definitely come back

The toilet was not the cleanest, the bath was a bit slippery, the elevator goes from half floors, so there are some stairs to climb - could be a problem to some. In the night/ early morning it's possible to hear the floors squeeking, since we established it's not a ghost in our room, we figure it must be other guests- not much the reception can do about but it's worth mentioning
