Clean, comfortable room with nice amenities. The concierge giving a tour of the facilities and a short history of the building was a nice experience. The staff was great. The hotel was peacefully quiet which one could expect from a former 15th century monastary. The location is removed from downtown but a short walk to Prague Castle, Strahov library, and on the tram line to downtown.

The electric lock failed as I was checking out with my bags in the room. I was delayed about 20 minutes getting to my taxi to the airport waiting for the lock to be fixed. It would have been nice to include a buffet breakfast in the price, as comparably rated hotels which charge less include this, maybe with the option to pay separately for scratch cooking. Also would be good to know if you are reserving a room with the view of the city or not. I am not sure if I missed that somewhere but my view was of the street

Everything was great, starting with the complementary glass of champagne at check-in. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful; the dining room where I ate breakfast every morning had stunning views and had plenty of space, with a great staff; my room on the third floor was comfortable and very quiet. (Due to jet lag I needed to take a couple of mid-morning naps, so I really appreciated how quiet it was then.) The windows in my room had great views of the Strahov monastery just up the hill. The Questenberg has a great location, with easy access to the 22 tram that comes every 10 minutes; the tram got me everywhere I needed to go across the river. (The 22 also stops at a Metro station just down the hill, and the subway there comes every few minutes.) The castle is a short stroll down the hill. This was my fourth visit to Prague, and the Questenberg is the best place I've stayed at -- I would gladly stay there again.

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer!

Beautiful building and rooms, great breakfast if you like to have a real meal in the morning, the view over the city from the lunch room is amazing. The hotel is slightly away from the old, very noisy and touristic city centre, while still in the beautiful part of town and accessible on foot (40 minutes walk from the medieval center, watch out for the slope!), and with the park nearby one could almost feel in the countryside.

This is an ancient building, even though it's beautifully designed, inner walls between my room and the next one were quite thin. The neighbours had powerful voices, liked to watch TV, and weren't very delicate moving in the bed, which had a knock-on effect on my side. Without earplugs it would have been a painful experience, so I'd recommend having a couple of those at hand.

Location, history, responsive staff.

Breakfast, we been coming back for many time but the breakfast buffet got really small over time, limited selections are getting smaller and smaller, especially the pastry. Coffee was also weak and not as good flavor as before. For the extra price you pay you expect better. Room service for our room came in just before 4pm, when we just got back to refresh before dinner, we called it off. Rooms could use more upkeep in general, wall behind the luggage stand was beat up, and make up mirror in the bathroom had the lights dimmed and not working properly. This hotel needs some general improvements or I will have to start looking elsewhere for my Prague stays.

The building was lovely and the rooms very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lovely terrace with stunning views at the back of the hotel to have a quiet drink. There is also excellent connections to public transport with the tram very nearby. It wasn't too much of a walk to get to the core sites in the centre ( about 20 minutes to Charles Bridge) Great location near the castle.

The breakfast was ok, but there were cafes very near that were cheaper and offered better food (I highly recommend Melvin's).

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and extremely convenient to restaurants, sightseeing and the tram and metro stations. The breakfasts was plentiful and delicious. We would definitely stay there again, as it was so convenient, and a great value.

I would have liked there to be a full-service restaurant in the hotel, instead of one just serving breakfast, but this was a minor issue as there were so many restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance.

1. Property of the monastery nearby -elegantly (and minimalistically) renovated in respect of its heritage. 2. Generous, kind, professional, available staff. Especially appreciated Andrea's welcome and introductory briefing. 3. Queit, comfortable, clean room, equipped to perfection. 4. Convinient location, well-served by public transport, a stroll's distance from the castle and Mala Strana. 5. Charming local coffee shop just out the door. Utilities (groceries etc.) at arm's reach.

Slight misunderstanding for the cleaning service. Partly out fault. But everything was very tidy to begin with and we only stayed for three (3) nights. Breakfast seemingly pricey, although we cannot articulate a complete opinion because we passed, mainly due to our schedule. The dining hall did look superb.

Spectacularly located a few steps away from the Castle, it offers an amazing view from the breakfast hall. The room was comfortable, and it’s quite special to sleep in an old monastery in the heart of Prague (the façade of the hotel is just unique!). I have enormously appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff, and the opportunity to check-in earlier than the usually allowed time, as I had arrived with a morning flight

Great location on the hill - a great view from the breakfast room. The rooms were very comfortable - big bed - good sized bathroom with lots of space for putting things, and good water pressure in shower - also decent wardrobe space in the bedroom. Complimentary Coffee and tea available in the room and downstairs in the lounge, plus some Christmas cookies. Its in an old monastery so had real character. Its a peaceful relaxing comfortable hotel. Receptionists were very helpful. Easy to get to the lower part of town either walking or taking the tram. I would recommend and stay here again.

There were cafes and restaurants around, but if you wanted to be in the busy part of the town, this might not be for you. But perfect for us.

The old building was beautiful and maintained well. The breakfast was also good and the dining room was very relaxing with a beautiful view; a pleasant way to start the day.

Parking was sometimes hard to find and expensive. The other thing I wasn't fond of was the view outside our window, it looked into someone's yard and sometimes I heard the kids in the yard, I would ask for a room on the left side of the hallway next time, and maybe on the 3rd floor instead of the second.
