Chose this hotel as a 4 night stay due to Hurricane Milton mandatory evacuation for my home town of Punta Gorda. About a 3 hour drive across FL70. Arrived early on Tuesday and they provided early check in. Having a Flanagan's right next door was perfect. About 12:30 am on Thursday, FPL had a transformer fail. The hotel lost most of the 220 service , which meant no AC in some rooms. The GM, Rosemarie, arranged for me to be moved to a room with AC so I could continue my stay. This hotel was also accepting guest that had pets! Unfortunately, FPL failed to restore power before I checked out on Saturday morning. Power was restored to my home in Punta Gorda . Overall , a great experience under difficult conditions.

They did their best under the circumstances . They lost a lot of business due to the power loss, but this was a hurricane situation. Circumstances out of their control.

Much better experience. I do not think the owner/manager knows how to run a hospitality business, both white women that work there (another at the front desk) and the owner, both rude. The Hispanic manager /woman that works the front and is extremely kind and hospitable - she should be running that entire place if she is not already. The older owner/manager needs to step away and let the Hispanic woman run that place with full authority if she knew what to do.

The owner who walks around acting as if the place is too good for you to be able to sit in their sitting area! Outrageous …

Overall the Inn is very clean, and we found it reasonably quiet. Yes, there are occasional train horns and overhead jets, but these are just part of the city's layout/architecture. The free breakfast is really top shelf. Parking was never an issue. The adjacent restaurant, Flanigans is an excellent option as well.

All of the fixtures and furnishings are very outdated and not in the best condition. Some in quite poor condition actually. The wifi and TV reception we very poor.

Convenient location with Flanagans restaurant located on the property. Nice and clean pool as well. 2 minute drive to historic Stuart. Great value, especially for Christmas Eve and the following night, too.

Ample parking. Great pool. Good location walking distance to many amenities and short drive to Jensen Beach and others. Staff were all super pleasant. The connected restaurant is a nice bonus and stays busy which is always a good sign. Would definitely stay here again.

Traffic in the area is hit or miss.

Your location was easy to find, there is food near by, and everyone that we met on the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Thank you all for helping us to have a great 53 Anniversary. We have no family here so we spent our anniversary with you folks.

The water in the bathroom sink didn't work properly but we managed, we're not hard to please.

This location was perfect as we were drive to and fro from FL. The breakfast was just enough to get us started each morning. Stayed here on the way down from PA and again on our return. Highly recommend.

Not sure what could have been better for an overnight stay. We loved the soft pillows and the ladies at the front desk gave us a good recommendation for a late dinner.

The staff is so kind and polite we arrived at 2:00 am in the morning and the lady in the front desk welcomed us so kindly and patient like if it was a regular working hour. All the staff was really nice during all our visit. Rooms are very clean! 100 points. If I come back I’ll definitely come back here!

We we're by shopping mall, store, gas station and close to the beach

I didn't like that we didn't have a t.v. that really worked. It only had one channel. And the wifi didn't work well.and the breakfast wasn't that great.

The person that checked us in was awesome. Very personable and a pleasure to deal with. She answered all of our questions. Location was convenient to everything. Liked Flanigans for a quick meal.

The rain - was unable to use the pool.
