- Amazing location, around 30-40 mins by Taxi from Punta Cana airport. - Amazing beach with lots of palms and convenient on the beach bars, exactly what we expected. - Great staff in the restaurants, bars. - A lot of food choices in the main all inclusive restaurants with meat/seafood and vegetarian options. Not so good choices with restaurants that you need to book, most of them don't have vegetarian dishes at all.

- Room cleaning could have been better. Sometimes there was a smell from pillow covers, they were not fully dry. - Jacuzzi plug was leaking and wasn't fixed as promised by our butler. So we couldn't use it although paid for the room with Jacuzzi.

the food in the main restaurant is not great, mainly the desserts, they basically have all the same taste the beach bar has a long line, they should have moore people there the premium does not woth the money, it is a smart choice to go for the regular stay it was supposed to have a buttler but he never showed up

We had a great time. It was absolutely beautiful, the food was great, the staff was amazing. We really want to shout out our butler Jose! He was fantastic! The butler at this resort can totally make your vacation. He got us last minute reservations, helped us with general questions, checked on us daily to make sure if we needed anything and that we were doing well. Make sure you tip your Butler, he can make everything better! Our room Housekeeper Reina was super friendly and helpful. Huge shout out to her as well! She even brought me in some cream from getting no-see-um bites when walking down the beach. (Be careful when walking outside of the resort on the beach where the seaweed is not cleaned up, this is where they no-see-um reside.) We really enjoyed the premium side of the hotel and think it is worth the extra cost. It is quieter there, but you can go to the pool next door if we want it to be rowdy! The beach was beautiful and clean. The kept the seaweed cleaned up every day. You can walk up and down the beach for miles. If you go towards the town it is a short walk to shopping and the pharmacy where you can buy sunscreen for $5 instead of $30 at the resort! Overall we loved it and will be back!

The only thing I can complain about is that the non-inclusive items are ridiculously expensive. Massage is over $100. You can get a lobster with your meal at the restaurants for $105. A manicure was $60! This is the third world, so it is pretty crazy. You can get a manicure in the Philippines for about $2 and an hour long massage for about $10. Luckily you don't need any of these things... So it was excellent all in all!

Positive: - premium beach, great premium bars at pool and beach, pool and restaurants - animators at premium pool - food - Italian restaurant, Japanese, fish restaurant - staff (regular restaurants, Italian restaurant, housekeeping staff) - excursions - bar and staff at the main reception

Negative: - the bedding had a damp smell - our butler contact us on the phone (we never met him) and we asked him about late check out. He told us that's fine. At the day of the check out Reception called us saying we don't have late check out and that we need to leave our room. Additionally they wanted to charge us for late check out although late check out is free of charge. After 30 minutes or arguing and calling GM they gave us late check out. - staff at premium breakfast in hotel - for 3 days we asked for a bottle of water and they did not give us so we start brining it from the room

Lovely resort. Well laid out. Plenty of restaurants and there did not appear to be a limit to how many times you could book them. Large buffet restaurant, always seats available. Food was good and varied especially if you mixed it up with the a la carte ones. Pools were great, never seemed crowded. Beach bar on premium beach sometimes had a bit of a queue but nothing to really worry about. Bar staff very generous with measures. No cocktail menu as such in the smaller bars but you just needed to tell them what to make and they did! Happy to serve drinks in your own glass/tankard. Room immaculate, cleaned everyday. Entertainment team worked relentlessly and plenty of things on offer but you never felt pressured to join in.

Not so much ‘didn’t like’ but just a bit inconvenient sometimes. In the restaurants, your drinks were always served by the waiting staff including coffee in the morning. When they were busy it could take a while to get drinks initially and then for top ups you had to keep flagging them down. Never quite understood why there were no coffee stations at breakfast!

Some staff made it really enjoyable for us Brigny at the Premuim restaurant bar, Sebastian, Jose our butler , Francoise was exceptional. Lugely great . I would come back only because of them .. we met a few housekeepers they also was great always smiled …

The language barrier not many spoke English and sometimes it was a problem.. The lobby at the premium check in looks old and tired .. needs uplifting for a premium,hotel should have transfer at the las Americas airport , I had to pay $155 usd to come to premium by taxi and another $155 to go back . The staff that gets u to buy this vacation packages when u say u can’t at the moment made remarks like don’t target island people, that’s not nice at all .. The snack bar can be better , not everyone eats pizza , hotdogs and burgers .. we arrived Saturday 18th November very late like 12:30 am and some wings or chicken would do after such a long flight of delays ..
