A lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location. Walking distance to most attractions. Excellent customer service especially from Roger (who speaks very good English) and the others who made sure we were comfortable. The complimentary drink at check in was great especially on a hot day. Also the help with bringing up our bags from the street. You select a breakfast type from a menu. Decent portion size, tasty and delivered fast. Hotel offers an affordable and fast laundry service.

Would have liked better sound proofing in the balcony rooms that overlook a busy street. Would suggest one get ear plugs if staying in one of those rooms. Unfortunately there are people on the street who think nothing of revving their vehicles at 2am in the morning.

The hotel has a great location right by the main pedestrian street of the Colonial Zone. It feels like a hidden gem, when you enter it surprises you with very stylish and airy common areas. The hotel staff was exceptionally attentive and polite, it felt as a service from much higher rated facilities. The interior is pretty and clean. Also we appreciated the earlier check in offer and tasty breakfasts. We haven’t stayed in other hotels in the capital so I can’t compare, however I may say this js definitely a good choice for your trip.

We had a room with no view. On the other hand it ensured a good night sleep since there was no street light and noise entering the bedroom through the window. So you choose what you value.

The staff was kind, respectful and responsive to requests. Roger, Bruce, Don Natanial y Freddy (Junior) were so helpful and provided great recommendations for travel & local activities. I felt very safe & cared for at their hotel. The courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. I enjoyed the breakfast selections & convenience of the bar. Such a lovely, welcoming place. It's walking distance to food, shopping & transportation. A pharmacy and exchange services are right across the street. Wonderful area to walk around and explore. For me, after reading other reviews, it was the description of the staff that convinced me that this was the right spot. The reviews were spot on - the staff are amazing! I am looking forward to returning to Hotel Class Colonial.

Prime location, which is very accessible to main attractions in Santa Domingo este. All staff and, in particular, Roger was very attentive to any support you required for your room as well as providing guidance to help you to navigate the local area and enjoy your experience.

The area does have some local vendors who can be persistent with wanting engagement, but generally, it's a safe location with plenty of police presence.

It had a lot of character, friendly stall ( especially Roger) and right on the Calle El Conde. Decent breakfast included and some really good reasonably restaurants and pubs right by. Highly recommend paying a bit extra for a room with a balcony. Very good value!

Bathrooms could use some upgrades and their signage could be clearer- I walked by it twice before finding it but no reflection on the hotel itself.

Great location right in the Colonial Zone in Santo Domingo. One block from main street. Easy to walk throughout the whole Colonial Zone. Very nice employees at front desk and breakfast. Breakfast is basic but nice if you are able to eat between 8am-10am. Strong A/C and free water is nice. Hot water shower worked fine.

Rooms a little small. Small blanket/comfortable on the bed with very strong A/C made it a little cold at night. Bed wasn't the most comfortable.

The hotel, staff, room and breakfast were wonderful. The hotel was lovely and very well kept. The staff was fantastic!

We arrived late in the evening. The area seemed sketchy and honestly we wondered what we had gotten ourselves into. When we went out in the morning, it was much better. If we would arrived in daylight, we would have had no qualms. It was like walking into another world when going inside.

The hotel and room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water for showering. It was just steps away from places to eat and some of the historical places. Staff was friendly and I appreciated the 24 hour check in, as our flight was delayed and didn’t get in til midnight!

No sign for the hotel near the entrance, which was hard for drivers to find. I believe that may be due to the street construction being completed by the city tho.

Exceptional staff and excellent breakfast! Beautiful facilities and excellent location.

Maintenance - the toilet was leaking and did not flush when I got the room. The shower was also dripping water. Also, the staff made a lot of noise chatting loudly in reception at all hours.

We loved the location! It was right at the end of the Zona Colonial walking street. We ended up arriving late and didn’t get there until 4:30am. They have someone at reception 24/7 and buzzed us right up. The room was lovely. We booked the Deluxe Balcony Room. It had lovely chandeliers, a King size bed, and a big balcony with chairs. We loved waking around Zona Colonial and being able to come back for naps. We felt super safe there! The breakfast was yummy too and the staff were incredibly helpful. We loved it so much we booked it for our final night in the DR too.

It was great. No complaints.
