Location was great and the food was good

The rooms needs a full renovation. I could see mold in the bathroom tile, the bathroom was so creepy I didn’t feel like taking a shower, toilet is old, shower curtain had stain on it. Get rid of the tub and replace with a shower.

We stayed six nights at this modern hotel facing the Nile river & thebian hills. view from room excellent, we saw balloon flights every morning from our room. Liked the Room Bathing tub & cupboards. Boulevard along the Nile very well made & excellent to walk, Excellent location for Nile river based activities, walking distance to Luxor temple, Karnak temple 10 mts by taxi, 30 to 40 mts by taxi to valley of kings, valley of Queens, Tombs of Nobles. we saw all of them. Karnak one of the greatest temples built in the world. Also did balloon flight, value for money. train station 10 mts by taxi. No Uber in Luxor, used Indrive taxi, very good. Excellent breakfast, good egyptian food, choice of breads,very popular omelette well done with vegetables, cheese, onions. however we liked the Le Champillon resaurant. dinner all six days. superb Grilled fish fillet, Saydia fish in tanjin, Fish & chips, Stir fried beef fillet in black pepper, Bologneses macroni. Superb out door pool not used as water cold. Gigi the customer relation executive, was excellent, to advice on all matters. Met us ever day at breakfast for any Help. Great asset to the hotel

The balcony door of our Room 321, did not close fully, so some amount of noise due heavy traffic outside as hotel on the main road. this was not an issue. Ahmed inhouse travel agent over charged for Taxi, 1000 to 1700, to visit valley of Kings, Temple of Hashtepust. we paid 25 US dollars per head ie 50 dollars. For day after, we used Indrive taxi fixed by us, previous day for 1000 to 1700h, to Tomb of Nobles, Valley of Queens, Medinat Habu, for 600 EGP, or 12 Us dollars. He was willing to go next day to valley of kings for same amount. Fix a day before with any Indrive taxi that you use on arrival, for the Thebian hill sights

Great hotel with amazing view of the nile. Large swimming pool and quiet rooms during the night. Walking distance to Luxor temple and the Luxor museum.

No faults really apart from bar prices were a bit steep but not unexpected in a hotel.

I stayed here with my 10 year old daughter recently and we had the most magical stay of our whole Egyptian adventure! This was the best hotel out of our 2 diff locations, everything about it was perfect for us! The location is top class, with amazing views of the river Nile. I often sat myself at night when my daughter was asleep and just watched the world go by and it was so fascinating to watch! It’s so close to both Luxor and Karnak temple you can walk to them yourself. We walked back from Luxor temple and it only took us about 10 mins. The museum and mummification museum are both within a 5 min walk also. The best part of the hotel was absolutely the staff! From Ali the manager, GiGi in guest relations, Nouby the lifeguard, the waiting staff were all so attentive and too many to mention! We also booked our trips with the hotel through Hassan and Mansour and they were so helpful it sorting out what we wanted and when. They delivered spectacularly, especially the sunset boat trip on the Nile. The pool is very child friendly with a part sectioned off to make sure they can’t wander to the deep end by mistake. There was always a lifeguard on duty as well. As a single parent, they went above and beyond to help me out with bringing things to my room for me instead of my daughter having to wait, like an ice bucket from the kitchen. It was no problem to call reception for anything to be sent up. The chef and kitchen staff were also very accommodating with our requests and the food was always fresh and tasty.

It’s not that I didn’t like it but some guests may not like some of the traffic noise at night if your room is a nile view one. Balcony doors can be closed anyway!

The hotel is perfect for seeing the sights of Luxor.It is located adjacent to the modernised corniche which now has more shops and restaurants overlooking the Nile. The ferry across to the West Bank is only a five minute walk along the corniche. The Temple of Luxor and the Souk are easily walkable from the hotel, no need for a taxi or carriage. Karnak Temple is also walkable taking approximately 15 to 20 minutes along the corniche. It had been 12 years since we last stayed at the Eatabe and although some refurbishment had taken place the ambience of the hotel remained the same, comfortable, friendly and welcoming. Location, comfort and friendly staff are what made us come back. We were so pleased to meet up with members of staff we had interacted with over the years. Aly, guest relations, greeted us like family and made every effort to ensure our stay was like being at home. Gigi, Salwa. Manar, Mostafa, Islam and Shazly were very attentive to ensure our breakfasts were enjoyable.The buffet breakfast offers a wide choice for guests of different nationalities but don't expect a full English. Our room was as we remembered 12 years ago, comfortable, with a spectacular view of the Nile, busy corniche, and the Valley of The Kings. The hotel's garden and pool area is a relaxing oasis where you can enjoy the sun and take advantage of having lite bites in the poolside restaurant and drinks from the bar. Ehab, Zain and Noby took great care of us and we enjoyed time catching up with them. We had always felt secure staying at the hotel and we were very happy to see the health and safety measures, in place for visitors and guests, were still being maintained to a good standard. In our opinion our 7 day stay was value for money. To some the hotel may seem dated but its location, welcoming staff, comfortable ambience override such concerns.

There is little doubt that the Aracan is a real gem in Luxor. Everything about this beautiful hotel from the welcoming reception to the spacious Nile view rooms to the extensive delicious breakfast buffet to the magical refreshing swimming pool was just stupendous. Undoubtedly, Gigi at the reception desk, is mainly instrumental in making our stay so heavenly. When she heard that we were celebrating my parent's wedding anniversary, she upgraded our rooms to make our visit just a little more perfect. Gigi is truly amazing with her effervescent personality and extremely friendly disposition. She is the undoubted star of the Aracan, so seek her out. You will not be disappointed.

There is nothing not to like at this Nile facing hotel. We will definitely be returning to Luxor to enjoy the exceptional facilities and hospitality that are the true hallmarks of the Aracan. We are looking forward to seeing Gigi again.

This prime located 4 star Hotel sits on the East Bank of the River Nile close to a number of banks,shops and chemists. Fantastic views of the West Bank and Mountains. The Hotel is a 7 minute walk to Luxor Museum and Luxor Temple a 5 minute taxi drive away. The well appointed bedrooms are very clean with tea and coffee with kettle provided. The Hotel offers an excellent breakfast buffet which includes Egyptian dishes. Congratulations to the Head Chef with 40 years service. He is meeting guests at breakfast and a delight to talk to. Hotel "check In" is fast with a professional team to welcome guests. The Swimming Pool is inviting with beautiful maintained gardens. Beach towels are provided for guests by the pool. The Hotel has a number of gift shops and a kiosk. Hotel Security is Utmost. In the evening guests can enjoy a drink in the bar and lounge areas served by excellent staff. All the staff members are hard working and friendly to ensure an enjoyable stay. Guest Relations Managers Mr.Ali and Miss Gi Gi are most professional and helpful at all times. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday or full sighseeing of Valley of Kings or local temples. Excellent value for money generally. Thankyou to all the staff at Eatabe Luxor Hotel.

The bathroom was great, they provided a lot of hygiene products. The staff was very friendly and helpful : we booked a hot air balloon ride (first flight) and it was amazing ! They gave us a really good price for it ! We didn’t go to the dinner buffet because at night we were exhausted and we ordered some room service. It was absolutely excellent ! The massages were great, they have a salt cave which was stunning. It was the first time that I got burried in salt crystals and it was very relaxing. The gym, pool and massage areas were very well equipped and clean. The balcony was small, but had a good side view on the Nile !

Honestly, we were shocked at how good our room and the lobby actually looked ! The pictures on booking.com don‘t do justice. The breakfast could‘ve had more variety, but it was still pretty good.

Excellent Hotel with fantastic Staff. Breakfast Buffet to suit all tastes with wide selection including Egyptian dishes. Relaxing friendly bar area and large reception lounges to relax. Selection of shops in the Hotel complex with travel agent to book trips. Restaurant for dinner offering tasty well cooked Menus at great value. Beautiful gardens with large swimming pool. Modern Gym and Massage centre. Guest Relations Managers Mr.Ali and Miss GiGi on hand to arrange accomodation at short notice to suit my needs. Highly recommend this Hotel. Thankyou for a great stay.

My 2nd stay during May at Aracan Eatabe Luxor Hotel. I returned due to the great staff,food and service. The Hotel has a great location on the East Bank of the Nile. Luxor Museum is situated a 8 minute walk away.Banks,Shops and a Chemist also nearby to the Hotel. The bedrooms are very clean and spacious with good internet provided free. Breakfast is Buffet style with a varied choice.The Egyptian breakfast dishes are excellent. Dinner is A la Carte at competive prices. The delightful bar for an evening drink is a must served by Ahmed. The Hotel has a super gym and Spa offering massages and treatments. The swimming pool and gardens are beautiful. Lunch and drinks served through out the day by Moustafa and Mohammed who will look after you by the Pool. A big thankyou to Alaa Ibrahim who provides House Keeping services during my stay. Alaa was most helpful and friendly.A credit to the Hotel. Guest Relations Manager Mr.Ali and his deputy Manager are always on hand to ensure your stay is first class. I look forward to my next stay at this friendly Hotel.
