The pools were very clean and nice

The restaurant and buffet staff are grumpy and not willing to serve

We stayed for 10 days in the beginning of February 2023 and we had a pleasant stay. Hotel was somewhat older but was beinig renovated part by part as we were there. There was a new owner takeover recently it is being modernised now heavily. There is a really good guest relations manager an english native speaker who was taking care of customers requests and making sure everything was fine. We had couple of small coplaints and they were dealt with and resolved immediately. All staff was incredibly friedly, helpful and hasle free which made us enjoy our time even more. Best part was the food as this was the first time we had extraordinery variety of food in an all inclusive hotel such as shrimps, crabs, lamb, duck etc. Beach was ok, a bit shallow but there is a sand pathway to deaper water and also a jetty/bridge which toom you to a deeper part which you could easily access from the beach. You could walk left and right from the hotel on the beach road and go outside the hotel next to the sea which was nice and you could walk next to other hotels. Police in front of the hotel as well as a security, felt as safe as in a bank walt. The whole town is heavy guarded and area around the hotel is patroled with police cars all the time. Tourist police come to hotel daily to check up on everything with securyity people. You could actualy walk upnand down the beach road also outside the hotel area which is nice for people enjoying walks or joggers. All in all very good what you pay to what you get ratio. WiFi was suprisingly available troughout whole hotel and also your room free of charge, was very decent speed and quality. We were offered free late check out as we had an evning plane so we could use the last day as well, thanks, that was very thouthtful. Food & drinks were extraordinary. Very good photographer and the tour agent Zola in the hotel to highly recomend. The whole hotel is trying really hard to olease the guests and we would come gladly again.

The only thing which we would like to see improvment was the heated swimming pool next to the beach to be heathed more than 27-28c which eas the temperature when we were there because for the kids that was a little uncomfortable for stayimg loger period in water especialy in the off season. Rooms are ok but could use new matrasses as the ones there are either too soft or to stif.

Rooms with fine-working AC were very spacious although a bit worn out. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with our needs. Breakfast was diverse. Wifi worked well all over the hotel.

Service in hotel restaurants was extremely slow, we waited for 45 minutes for our drinks and another half an hour for our food, which is a bit too much for frozen pizzas. Bathroom door didn't close and balcony door was getting stuck constantly.

Surprised how good the hotel was. Big rooms. Comfy beds. Gabr Nassr amazing, cleaning our room and so caring/helpful. Food, huge choice. Bit manic finding a table in dining room. Good entertainment and team helpful/friendly especially Natashia. They take you to clubs after if you like. Beautiful gardens and huge beach. We saw many fish off the pier. Lots of shops, cafes outside hotel. We're booking to go again. Barman brings drinks to you round pool. Friendly atmosphere.

Pool guy at first pool not helpful. Gave us sunbeds and umbrella. We had breakfast. When we returned someone had taken a bed and dumped my stuff on the floor in front of him. Not impressed! Alcohol and coffee not the best but most hotels the same in Egypt.

Wonderful Stay at Aurora Oriental Resort! I had an amazing stay at Aurora Oriental Resort! The hotel is extremely clean, the food is diverse, and the natural views are absolutely breathtaking. The beach is stunning—truly one of the best I've seen! I also want to express my gratitude to the Front Office Manager, who was very attentive and handled my request with great care. A special thanks to Chef Mohamed El-Safty, an incredibly respectful and professional person who went above and beyond to assist me. I also appreciate Mr. Saleh for his cooperation and all the restaurant managers for their excellent service. Most of the staff were warm and welcoming, which made our stay even better. However, there are a few areas for improvement. Not all staff members were equally friendly, and I believe the Wi-Fi coverage needs enhancement, especially near the beach and other outdoor areas. Overall, I had a fantastic week at Aurora Oriental Resort, and I truly appreciate their hospitality. Thank you for making my vacation

The beach was very good, the water never too deep, and there were some coral areas with colorful fishes. The water was crystal clear, you didn't need a snorkeling kit to see them (bring yours because it's fun though). Needles, puffers, butterflies, wrasses, parrots, Picassos, and a dozen other fish species. They weren't numerous but all very pretty. The restaurant was beyond perfect, every single dish was a culinary masterpiece, and there was a remarkable variety of dishes and cuisines. The staff were very active and attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable. It was the best restaurant compared to over a dozen other five-star hotels I've been to in Sharm. Special thanks to the manager Mr. Mohamed ElNagar. The room was excellent, not a single complaint there. The largest king (emperor?) bed ever, and a wide sofa bed. Very comfortable and clean. The housekeeper did a fine job. There were many pools and they weren't crowded at all despite the hotel being at full occupancy. Clean and relaxing, most with a dedicated bar, with clearly marked depth level. The hotel landscape was beautiful too, with large green areas and many types of trees and ornamental flowers. The front desk personnel were helpful and efficient, both check-in and check-out were a breeze. All in all a very pleasant surprise, this is a true five-star resort and deserves 10/10 compared to most of Sharm's resorts.

The animation team were alright but some more activities should have been arranged. Some of the villa owners let loose their dogs on the beach. Not everyone found them cute, some guests hated them.

The location was amazing! Food was great, varied every day and hotel staff were very kind and friendly. Especially a few of the waiters and the beach staff. Mohamed our room cleaner made some great towel creations - we loved them!👌🏽

Some staff were a bit pushy with selling things to us but we understand they need to keep the business going. We found the carpets in the corridors a bit dirty. And we had a problem with hot water in our room. The WiFi signal really was very poor and would’ve been nice to have WiFi at the beach bar.

Hello I would like to say although the staff are busy they always made a point of seeing if our needs where meet. It is a lovely Hotel but needs a little remodernising. Looks a little bit tired in places.

I thought the food was a little repetative but overal loved the hotel. Staff are fantastic. Didnt like the fact after paying for full all inclusive we was asked to pay extra in PIT STOP bar for drinks. Not a good idea as puts people off.

Great location, shops, pharmacies, etc. Big room, good wi-fi in the room. Good sound insulation. A beautiful garden. Good children's playground. Wide beach, with sandy entrance to the sea, but no windbreaks. Italian guests 90%.

The restaurant room and hotel corridors are in a very critical condition. Renovation is necessary. The quality of the food should be improved and the glass should be removed from the food counter. Uncomfortable tables and chairs in the restaurant (tables are low, chairs are high).
