The ocean view is worth it, and the beach is amazing. The AC worked well, and the room was clean. If you bring a car and don't want to use a valet, the self-parking is great and easy to use. It's a private parking lot across the street only for Newport guests. For a couples trip with a rental car to explore Miami, this place is a good choice.

The toilet doesn't flush well, and the mini fridge runs a little loud. There was no clothes dryer in the room. The walls are quite thin, and you can smell weed in the hallways. The majority of the price goes towards the view & location.

the room was great. great size tv. view was great. everything was clean. staff were polite. restaurants were OK.

first and foremost the construction in the pool area I will not hold against them but be mindful about that. second I was over charged by 103 dollars which also doesn’t show on the receipt so now have to get that cleared up either with bookings or my bank. beach is riddled with cigarette butts and plastic bottle caps and cups. shower and sink water was yellow the entire stay. hotel walls are super thin. I heard everything from both rooms near us not to mentioned everything in the hallway and door slams. also nothing but weed and cigarette smells coming from the ac vents randomly assuming from other rooms.

The people on the beach only in front of this hotel, arguing, screaming, fighting, police had to be called. Made some of the people leave, but others stayed in the beach all night being loud and woke us several times during the night. No quiet calm sunrise for us. That was bullchit! The money we payed to be able to watch the sunrise was well worth it. Listening to those people ruin it for us, priceless 🤬

The staff was very attentive to any of your needs. They even gave us a little gift basket and plate of fruit. the location was perfect. Right on the beach and beside the peri. Also it was in walking distance of plenty of restaurants. Also the Spa. Just go, it’s worth every penny. I can honestly say I have thoroughly enjoyed my week at Newport Beachside Resort and will be attending again.

The only thing I could possibly complain about was the lack of housekeeping. BUT! they told us upfront at the desk that they were limited on staff and I completely understand.

The hotel lobby, and location was exceptionally beautiful! The room we stayed in felt more premium than what we paid for.

The real compromise to this hotel is the parking. The parking lot is across the street which is understandable because beach front property goes for a premium. The problem is their is only one entrance/exit and it is problematic to access!

The room was very spacious - the bedroom had a separate door. The view was great - had part view of the city & the beach. It was a good location close to amenities.

We were disappointed that the pool area was under renovations and we were unable to use it, but you could tell that once it was finished it would be really nice.

Hotel very well located. Good size rooms and beach view Staff very helpful and hotel very clean. Beach access (few steps from the hotel)

Breakfast not included and little overpriced. No parking included. Need to pay 25USD extras per night Swimming pool was in construction and I didn't know until the day of the checkin

It was good but wasn't kept to a warm temperature.

The parking situation is terrible. You have to leave your vehicle across the street in a parking garage and, of course the hotel gives you literature explaining that they are not responsible for damage. Also, there were not carts available to use to get luggage 10 stories up to your room while worrying about getting it all out of your car so you can go park across the street. Although, the nice gentlemen at the check in counter volunteered to help my husband carry it all up.

Good value. Very nice and helpful beach attendants.

The pool and snack shack were under construction which we were told ahead of time about but it diminishes the quality of the stay. The don’t clean the rooms daily, you have to ask to have the towels replaced and trash emptied.

It is a very nice place. Heated pool (super warm), the beautiful lobby, our room was comfortable with nice view, a good bar with funny bartenders, we found a small playground for y child in the territory , Starbucks at the first floor and nice Jewerly store

Absolutely rude women at the reception. I even didn't want to ask something to avoid any reactions.... my comment is not the first one about. Sad
