The hotel is conveniently located just off the HWY. It was very peaceful and quiet. Hotel staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room had a stocked kitchenette. Obviously you bring your own food. The indoor pool was well maintained and even had pool floats for the kids. There was a good selection for breakfast every morning. Fruit infused water and coffee available in the lobby 24 hours. Housekeeping was very nice and accommodating when we needed clean towels. We'd stay here again!

The 3rd floor stunk horribly! I know Marijuana is legal in Illinois but out of respect for others it should have been smoked outside. I ended up having to take benadryl nightly while we were there. The pool had way too many chemicals in it! My son ended up with a chemical burn on his shoulder and wasn't able to swim for the rest of our stay. The beds weren't very comfortable but I haven't stayed in many hotels where the beds were.

Everything was great the only downfall was I booked to suites close together and when I arrived was not ready had to take two separate rooms!

The breakfast was amazing! Tons of options and things changed a little each day. Our room was clean and comfortable. The beds were perfect. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty of space. The front desk staff was friendly and always helpful. The breakfast attendant was also kind and helpful. The pool was a good size and clean. My husband enjoyed the work out area.

The only complaint we had was no hot tub and the kitchen was a little smaller than we needed but neither of those were big deals.

I loved how clean and updated the place is. The rooms are perfect with everything needed for a comfortable stay. And Breakfast was Amazing as well as having access to a pool and gym over all loved it

Only thing would be the TV it could be Updated the Cable would Not work with some channels and it would be static if they had a Netflix, Hulu or even smart TV option to Screen Cast from a personal Phone that would be wonderful.

Room was very cozy and bigger then expected. Comfortable bed. Hotel was just very nice clean and smelled really good. Tv's In the rooms were really nice and a good size. Breakfast was a good display, with a good bit of options. Staff was just super Friendly, honestly can't say enough good things! If I'm ever in the area again, would definitely stay again! Also loved that the windows opened, you don't see that often, was definitely a bonus sometimes you just need a quick breath of outside air!

Nothing that I didn't like just wished the hot tub was opened or inside. I'm severely anemic so I am always cold and the pool was warm, but not warm enough for someone like me.

This room was a home away from home. Full refrigerator, stove top electric, garbage disposal. Comfortable bed linen and comforter. Updated design. 2 nice size tv. And a fold out couch. With extra towels, linens.2 large closets. Large pool, and excellent workout room.beautiful patio area to eat your breakfast or just enjoy nature; delicious breakfast. I will definitely revisit this hotel again. Friends and helpful staff.

Nothing I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is in a cute neighborhood with a nice lake and pretty places to walk. The staff is friendly, helpful and kind. The parking on-site was free and easy. 1 hr north of Chicago but so worth it! Safe location!!! Nice breakfast! 2 bedroom suite was roomy and comfortable.

Close to Great Lakes Navy Base, pet friendly & staff was very welcoming!! Kudos to Jaime & Curtis at the Front Desk!! They were very informative, understanding and professional! We were allowed to hang our Sailor’s Anchor and gave us a flyer to get to our sailors graduation!!

clean value for money big room

isolated location breakfast was very basic the lady who refused to give me the invoice for my stay , she was arguing for 20 min , then her colleague came and gave it to me , she even didn’t say sorry
