Breakfast tickets were provided for a limited menu at the restaurant next door. The food was good. Restaurant was clean. Staff were cordial. The hotel rooms were exceptionally clean and I thanked them for that. Probably one of the cleanest small town hotels i have ever stayed in, and one of the cleanest BW hotels i ever stayed in. The hotel smelled fresh and didn't have any "stale smell" often found in hotels. I will definitely stay at this location again. The hotel staff were all very kind and personable. They went above and beyond with hotel and local information. HOLLY that checked us in was delightful and recognized my member status, she adjusted my rate for the stay based on that info since the booking website didn't ask for that info, etc. Excellent customer service!

The automatic coffee pot/cappuccino machine downstairs at the lobby wasn't working..but I heard from another patron that it is the best coffee. He was very bummed it was down that evening.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are nice with a majestic view of the Columbia River! I love that they include earplugs in the room for the noise of trains that pass. There is a coffee machine in the lobby that is outstanding! There is a pool, jacuzzi and fitness room available, plenty of parking and a restaurant next door for your included hot breakfast choice. Everything about this hotel is geared towards the guests' comfort and it really shows!

The only thing I may have had an issue with is that you have to ask for a room clean each day as they don't automatically clean the rooms daily, but alot of hotels are doing that now since Covid so it's understandable. I often forget, so that's on me.

Had a room with a river view and balcony with two chairs and small table. Beautiful. Amenities were great--shampoo, condition, lotion, soaps, etc. Nice to have a coffee maker, small microwave, and refrigerator. The breakfast is a decent full meal--many choices. Free parking. Can walk to several restaurants and park.

I had stayed at this BW before and therefore knew about the train that runs about twice/hour very close by and below the hotel. I turned the air on low for white noise and did not have a problem sleeping, but some people might find the noise too much. The hotel does provide ear plugs.

Very nice accommodations, comfortable beds, nice amenities, and friendly staff. I loved the included breakfast at the restaurant next door. So many options and the food was very good! We also liked that Skamania lodge was right across the bridge where we booked space services. Big plus.

We were not informed that the rooms were cleaned only by request, so the first 2 days, we returned to a dirty room and had to request towels and garbage service. We thought it was automatically cleaned each day. Lots of trains going by, a bit loud.

Great location for going to Multnomah Falls and other attractions, clean, nice refrigerator/freezer, good beds and pillows, breakfast next door was good and efficient. Staff nice. River view was fantastic! Worth the extra $ for it. Appreciated earplugs as the trains passed by frequently but we didn’t use them and it really didn’t bother us.

No fault of hotel but we had children right above us who were running/thumping for what seemed like hours.

The location was good, view of the river and in walking distance to eating/drinking places. The room was large enough, 4 of us in the double queen room. Having a balcony was great, watching the Bridge of the Gods & boat traffic was relaxing. There was a train track right next to hotel, but we really did not hear them during the night. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was good, several choices.

It is a very nice property right on the Columbia river, right in the heart of Cascade Locks. The central location made it easier for us to explore the area - go hiking, visit nearby town of Hood river, check out wineries, etc;, and still be in time to come and change in the hotel and check in for our sunset boat ride on the Gorge. Our room had a balcony with beautiful views of the river and also the Bridge of the Gods (to Washington). We went to the Bridgeside restaurant next door for a made-to-order breakfast. Post-covid, you had to request housekeeping services, which we did, and it was done. The staff were accommodating and friendly and provided information about nearby pharmacies because my husband needed something.

While the price seemed a bit high for a Best Western, it is true that Best Western Plus is at a higher price-quality tier than standard Best Western motels, With the high prices for lodging in the Columbia River Gorge area, this Best Western Plus was labeled as a "budget" option. So, I had realistic expectations which were met. We loved it there, and would stay there again.

The location was amazing and the adjoining grounds were lovely. It was really easy to walk to nearby restaurants as well as jump on the highway to our other nearby destinations such as our white water rafting excursion. The room was clean and roomy for our family of 4.

The breakfast was from the adjacent hotel...we didn't love the breakfast, it was fine and had variety but it was cold - the hash browns were especially cold and didn't seem to be cooked all the way through. The coffee was just ok. There were better restaurants nearby that guests should definitely try.

We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and watching the barges and trains (Washington side) go by. The scenery was beautiful and the mountains were so pretty in early morning. The hotel was next to the Bridge of the Gods and there was a train track just below us by the river. Trains went by frequently and it was nice hearing them. I loved the small village atmosphere. Breakfast was great with great choices. We took the dinner cruise on the Sternwheeler. I loved the small, village of Cascade Locks, no crowds. I would definitely stay here again. They had washing machines on our floor.

We’ll kept location, wonderful staff, great location… will try to send you a photo from the early 1800’s of the real Bridge of the Gods that a great grand uncle took before all the dams on the Columbia River….he was one of the 3 families from Maryhill !

Next to the Bridge of Gods plus it was the most comfortable of all the different motels we stayed in the 8 days we were in Oregon!
