Everything was great with Sabon Hotel! The hotel itself is very nice, well maintained, clean and cozy. But the staff make this place exceptional. From Selam and Selamawit at the front desk (both so so helpful) to Mebratu and his team in the restaurant (so kind) and Berhanu (I believe that's his name) who works in the lobby helping guests with various needs (also very kind and helpful), the driver who waited over an hour until I got out of the airport (sorry I forgot his name) - everyone went above and beyond and made my return to Addis so smooth and easy. Thanks so much to the team. I loved staying at this hotel and highly recommend it. It was also nice to have a free breakfast buffet, an ATM on site, and close proximity to restaurants. The staff even helped me get some clothes dry cleaned at a dry cleaners nearby. I could go on and on but I'm grateful for everything.

Nothing, everything was great

The property was well cared for. The staff was amazing and so kind! Close to the airport and in a walkable neighborhood with shops and restraunts. The breakfasts were nice and the Ethiopian restaurant next door was delicious. We stayed as a family and I’d definitely stay again!

Our bed was too firm for my liking! Otherwise loved it.

Location is perfect, even it is at busy place at Bole, room was quiet.

The information about extra payment of early check in. Even I informed about early early check in in advance and I used it many times before, it was approved. But later came information about extra payment. Is much more profesional to tell it in the first time of information about time of departure.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, providing ample room to relax and feel at home. The staff went above and beyond, always attentive and eager to assist with any requests, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. The location is absolutely perfect, close to local amenities. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—highly recommend!”

Spacious and comfortable rooms and extremely helpful staff at the front desk. The rooms are very good value, and the location is handy for the airport - the hotel provides a free pick-up and drop off shuttle service.

Need to be a little careful when venturing down the road past Edna Mall in the evenings as there are young muggers about

Cosy, quiet hotel, with lovely helpful staff. Good breakfast and very comfortable bed. Excellent value for money!

The restaurant needs to be significantly improved. It is the only reason why I would hesitate to come back (especially as a business traveler with limited time to look for other food options)

Great stay in Addis! Hotel is centrally located, close to many restaurants, a mall, and 8/10 minutes from the airport, to which they offer a free shuttle service. Staff was very kind and helpful and assisted me in calling for their local ride service called Feres.

At night surroundings do not look safe.
