The hotel was in a great location close to the heart of San Antonio. Continental breakfast was solid; there were always a lot of options for food. I also enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The hotel seemed to be running smoothly, and our room was a good size (we got a king bed + couch for 3 adults). I think we got a good deal for what we paid, and I'd stay here again.

Our room was kind of dirty - whenever we'd walk across the carpet barefoot, our feet would get this blackish tinge to them. The bathroom was a bit out-of-date and the shower floods if you're not careful, not a big deal though. The surrounding area was pretty isolated so I wouldn't suggest staying here alone.

My husband was arriving at the airport and I wanted to take the shuttle to pick him up; the reception staff and shuttle driver were most helpful in arranging this for us, and we really appreciated the consideration.

The breakfast: we understand how plastic plates and utensils reduce clean up time, but that choice sends a message that La Quinta is okay with increased plastic waste, and the resulting cheap feel to the experience. Seems odd for an establishment that otherwise reflects higher quality choices. The breakfast choices similarly matched the plastic ware - limited, and lower quality.

Free airport shuttle. Great location and close to many stores, restaurants, Walmart and the North Star Mall within a walking distance. Friendly staff especially Alex who was very helpful during my stay. Good selection of pillows to choose in the room (I had 5 types). Available late check out.

The air conditioning was sometimes was making a funny noise (not big deal), I just unplugged it when not needed

Breakfast was good, would of liked to see hash browns and some regular sugar packets. I like how coffee was available all the time too. It was delicious. It was easy to ask for extra towels and toiletries.

The shower curtain. No big deal, but hung low into the tub, felt as if I were going to slip on it and rip it off the bar. The water would get out too, had a puddle and I had to use towels to soak it up.

very good location and very near to the airport , Walmart, other facilities. Receptionist were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good, elevators were super fast, rooms were spaced and wide open free parking available. it is a very good hotel to stay. only one thing keep in mind that if you are staying more then one night then they don’t make up the room unless you advise them in advance.

There were some junior/high school kids banging on the doors at night. it seemed they were from some basketball team. I called front desk and they sent security to check. Kids kept banging on the doors and running away harassing us. FrontDesk/Security were not able to catch who they were and make them stop. They need security cams on the hallways and kick out these annoying brats or make their parents/chaperones accountable.

I liked my room and my bed, however, the fan in the bathroom is really noisy. I did not eat breakfast, because I left at 3 a.m. in the morning. The staff was able to answer all questions during check-in.

I felt that the fan in the bathroom was very noisy. Especially when I am showering at 2 a.m. and trying not to wake anyone in the next room.

The bedroom was incredibly comfy. I brought some sewing supplies to do some hobby work in my downtime and the large table in the room was perfect for it. The bed was so comfortable, I fell asleep almost instantly when I laid down on it. Also, the staff were super friendly. All of the housekeepers I passed during the week either greeted me or made quick conversation and, while I didn't go to the front desk often, the people I did talk to were very helpful.

The bathroom looked clean at a passing glance, but when I actually went in, there were brown splatter stains along the bathroom counter. Also, this is the first place I've stayed at where the laundry room didn't take coins so, while not major, it was a little annoying to go back to my room for my card.

I liked its proximity to the airport and surrounding family member's homes and meeting locations. the room was comfortable and clean. When I asked to be moved to a different floor, it was accommodated quickly.

The neighborhood was a bit rundown and I noticed several days where it appeared that people were using the parking lot as a camp site.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful…and the two ladies who work the breakfast each morning need a raise….I was watching them while I ate and they kept it all together…extremely nice to everyone getting breakfast……keeping the counters stocked and cleaned……coffee pots filled…..we gave them a tip
