Apart from an issue a week or so before arrival, where the booking.com website was compromised by hackers who sent us a message within the platform asking us for new credit card details, which made us worry that our booking was not confirmed (we think nothing to do with Hotel Alpes at all. We thought the hotel and staff were just great, nothing was too much trouble and we even had a corner room with balcony, it was a little small but it was great. Staff were excellent, breakfasts were superb and the location was also excellent, close to town and the station too. Would definitely stay here again, no question!

It was in a brilliant location and had everything we needed for a night in Annecy. The rooms was clean, comfortable and quiet and we all slept perfectly. Breakfast was really great, particularly for the price. We parked in the near by underground car park which was ideal and again great value with the parking voucher which we were given at reception. The location was perfect for being right in the centre and having everything close by. We would highly recommend.

The location is great with a really short walk to the city center. I personally liked the receptionists in the evening and the morning. I also really liked the offer they make for people with a car - they give you a discount that deducts a night of your parking. We arrived at 21:00, left something like 09:00 and paid around 1 euro after the deduction of our parking ticket. I will also mention that the room was really warm during the night. The bed is good, did not notice any issues but I am sensitive to bed, pillows and duvet. So, overall, really good value for the money we paid - you can't expect a lot at this price but it is a really good place to do an overnight stay.

The sound isolation is not the best thing in this hotel, but we slept well during the night, and no loud noise was noticed.

Very close to the center, but not right in it. There's always someone at the reception, with plenty of languages in their belt. You can come in an out whenever you please, they keep the keys at the reception. They have an elevator from the second floor. There's a deal with the parking nearby (even though the ticket they gave me didn't work, still good in price).

The shower door was loose, and the toilet water container had a leak, could hear it the entire time while trying to sleep. The breakfast option was a bit pricy for a continental, could go to the cafeteria right downstairs and get a better deal and you can still sleep in in your holidays.

Hotel didn’t have their own parking ,especially when it is in the old town but its normal in small hotels . However, the Hotel des Alpes offered a free parking from 7pm-8am and if you stayed longer,only the difference will be refunded. But I forgot to give the parking ticket receipt that I had after paying so I did not receive the refund. Thank you anyway for the offer.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was fine. We could park at the underground car park at Stalingrad Square, which is actually very close once you know which entrance to use. Comfortable, clean. Lovely bathroom and shower. Well positioned and an easy walk to lake, restaurants etc. There’s a nice bakery on the ground floor.

The room we had was quite small, although comfortable. There are bigger rooms and if this is something that bothers you I would contact them and ask for a bigger room.

Clarity about parking: the closest parking places are underground with a 1.9m height limit. We came with a campervan and had to park down in the outdoor spaces at the Bonlieu parking. It is noisy with those above being audible, but this is the price of the traditional wooden framed building,

Very friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. Great location in Annecy. Room had air conditioning. They had facilities to store our bikes. Our room was comfortable.

Parking is a little awkward as you park in a public car park a few minutes away. BUT the staff made it really easy for us and gave us one night free, so the parking charge was minimal when we left. Our bathroom had a sliding door rather than one that opened on a hinge which did limit our privacy a little bit. There was a noise on our floor that would go off periodically. Wasn’t really a problem but we just noticed it.

Located was excellent (right across the station & a short walk to the old centre as well as the lake), the staff were accomodating and very friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable with a great view. There was a sitting-dining area that was super quaint and convenient for early check-ins and check-outs.

Very difficult to not like anything! If I were to be critical, I would probably suggest providing an electric kettle in the room just for the colder months at least. The tap water can be a bit cold during this time to drink!

The location of the hotel is excellent. In the heart of everything. Close to the old town and the central station. The hotel was clean and tidy, the stuff was wonderful!

The room in the pictures wasn’t at all as in reality. The decor shown in the website wasn’t in the room. Only in the lobby. Plus the room wasn’t sound proof. You could hear people above and next door. Lastly, we found out that it would be cheaper to book it on the spot rather than on booking.com. Even though I booked the room months in advance.
