This Ibis hotel is in a fantastic location to visit old town Annecy with super convenient and well priced parking right next door. The hotel is easy to find and the staff were very welcoming. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed including a kettle and good AC (it was incredibly hot when we visited). We didn't have the hotel breakfast as there are plenty of local places just a very short walk from the hotel. The bartender in the hotel was exceptionally welcoming and provided us with lots of local recommendations. The restaurants in the old town are many, all with outstanding food and service. There are plenty of bars too. When we visited there was a traditional market in progress which was great to experience and taste some of the local food that was on offer by the vendors. Lake Annecy is just a short 10 min walk through the old town and has plenty to offer visitors. Great hotel in a great location with friendly staff.

Nothing negative to say.

The location was fantastic, close to old town. Breakfasts were good and convenient. The staff was great until our checkout.

The only problem we had is that we were overcharged for breakfasts and the desk person who was there when we checked out at 5:00am was unable to explain our final bill. We later found out we had been overcharged…we were charged for our breakfast for two on our checkout day when we left at 5:30 am, before breakfast was even offered. We filed a dispute with our credit card company and the hotel as well.

Great location in the Old Town. Comfortable room and friendly receptionists. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at lovely nearby restaurants/cafes. Really loved our stroll through the Old Town to the lake.

We had a very difficult time finding the hotel entrance, walking from the station. If there is a sign, after crossing the bridge, we could not see it. Eventually, after pulling our suitcases up and down, we went through the passageway straight ahead, after the bridge then turned left up the ramp/stairs. The entrance was there on the left.

Near to centre of town. The staff went out of their way to find extra pillows for me although I had requested these when I originally booked our stay. We love Annecy & have spent many a happy weekend there.

Difficult to unload your car because the spot for unloading is on a bridge & close to a car park entrance. The municipal police were not very helpful as I was disabled & trying to control a dog whilst my husband unpacked the car was stressful & difficult. The underground car park did not belong to the hotel so I had to climb 14 steps to reach the hotel. This I found personally difficult. The doors of the car park at night & the river & park beside the hotel are used by the homeless & drug users. I didn’t feel very safe in this location. I realise this isn’t about the property per se but it’s location & surroundings.

- size and layout of room was great, lots of storage! -extra pillows provided :) -very clean standard throughout the hotel (I am very fussy about cleanliness so was impressed) -water fountain downstairs was very useful! -staff extremely friendly and accommodating, spoke very good English! They were happy to help! -perfect location which was quiet for sleeping well but <5-10 min walk to everything, area felt safe. -late check out compared to other hotels and luggage room! -solo female traveller who felt very safe, cared for and had all my needed amenities:)

air con seemed very mild on full-settings (but it is 34c in Annecy currently!) so the room would get very hot! apart from that no bad feedback! Really impressed for a 3* and price!

Great value for money, in a good location to explore Annecy. There was a great selection at breakfast. The room was very comfortable and had a balcony to look over the nearby river. The old town is only a 5-10min walk and the lake/waterfront is around 10-15min away. Plenty of food and drink options within a few minutes of the hotel.

No secure parking at the hotel, but plenty of options close-by including dedicated parking bays for motorcycles.

Reception Staff were friendly and polite. You could tell they wanted you to feel welcome. As it was our honeymoon, they went to the extreme of putting petals on the bed, along with a lovely note and some free croissants and chocolate. It was a lovely gesture.

Breakfast was a little lame. Limited food out for a continental breakfast, which meant there was not a lot to choose from and in 4 days only saw sliced bread once and staff tended to hide in the kitchen once you were checked in for breakfast

My second stay here so I knew what I would be staying in. The hotel is located brilliantly for train/ coach arrivals and the proximity to the town for bars and restaurants. The staff are what make this hotel exceptional - thay are all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to book again for my next trip to beautiful Annecy.

This property is perfectly located very near the bus & train station and at the edge of Annecy’s scenic old town. The air conditioning made our stay highly enjoyable as well as the friendly staff and excellent facilities. The breakfast buffet was superb and they have a chilled water dispenser at the front door. They will store you luggage if you arrive before checkin.

Everything was excellent

Everything was just perfect. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was very clean and bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good size very clean shower with hot water. Excellent WiFi. Ideal location. Just a stone throw away from the railway station and very short walk to the lake.

Breakfast. At around 10 am, breakfast bar started run short of items and I felt like the staff/cheff weren’t in a rush to get them topped Up. So it was a disappointment.
