The staff!!! Super accommodating and friendly staff. They asked me which language I wanted to speak and I told them French. They talked the rest of the time in French. The room is tastefully and traditionally furnished, there is a lovely small sitting area in the reception, and the staff will go out of their way to help you.

The room was smaller than I’m used to. The bathtub was elevated and rather a challenge to step into for the shower. It was a little confusing when we arrived to figure out which floor was the reception. Hint: Take the elevator to Floor zero.

The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The hotel was in an old, renovated building just off a main square but despite that it was very quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and answered all our queries promptly. Housekeeping services were excellent. There was a waterfall shower as well as a handheld shower hose.

Although there was a small seating area downstairs there wasn’t much animation in the hotel. you could have a drink there apparently but it wasn’t a bar. We were left water one day but not the others. The wine in the room sitting out on the table is not complimentary - it was an expensive mistake for us.

Reception staff wee very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Lift from ground floor to reception on first floor, room was ready when I arrived which was great as it was very hot and I also paid extra for late check out, free bottle of water and coffee machine. It was very quiet. Easy to get to from the airport with Tram A about 40 minutes and a 10 minute walk or 15 minutes on the Tram C or D from the train station then 5 mins walk.

Light not working for private entrance which made it awkward getting into the room. I reported this to reception and they were getting it fixed.

The setting of the hotel was a bit different, one enters on the ground floor but reception is on the 1st. The elevator stops every time in the 1st floor. It's an excellent location and the building quite old, so the entry lobby of the hotel was a bit dark... We had the small standard room which was, as in the name, small. Only one big luggage fits really if you are two people but I guess it was expected.

The staff was exceptionally helpful, from wonderful restaurant suggestions, to arranging very early taxi pickup for travel to the airport, to helping with the lobby computer (and local printer) for needed travel documents. The location was ideal for our puposes, in central Bordeaux. It was remarkably quiet for that area! The staff spoke good English and was very friendly, which was very welcome.

We were only here one day/night and the elevator was out for a portion of that day, which made for some long treks up the stairs while it was being worked on. But it was fixed by the end of the day, so it was just a temporary glitch.

Superb location, easy to get on the public transportation

50 euro upfront charges in case of use the minibar. Still 5 days later, I'm having charges pending in my credit card despite not using minibar and not getting money back. Can't comment on the breakfast. We did not have any for our stay. But for 40 euros for two people you can find a nice breakfast nearby for much less. Depending on the convenience.

The location was perfect, right in the center of everything, near tram, sights, shopping and restaurants. Every staff we encountered or worked with was friendly, professional and helpful. The room was soundproofed, and we noticed there was loud street construction that was completely silenced with the closing of the patio window! We requested a room with a patio for my birthday stay, and this was honored! We bought coffee and croissants from a nearby bakery each morning and sat out there, overlooking the city- it was lovely!

Room was good size, esp for European standards, but just made a bit more tight by the added furniture proportions. Loved the comfortable King (two twins) bed! Just feel the extra chairs, desk and coffee station could be smaller and repositioned to add space for luggage to be stored and opened more easily.

Very quiet location although central to transport, restaurants and sightseeing; elegant and safe part of Bordeaux. Soundproof rooms: tastefully decorated and well-appointed. Very comfortable bed. Nespresso machine! Room service available, but I didn't use it. The hotel very kindly upgraded me with no extra charge.

Breakfast offering was delicious, but the breakfast room is rather too small (residual COVID nervousness on my part). NB: you can have breakfast in your room.

Everything was excellent. The hotel is super comfortable and cozy. The location is central. The beds and pillows are so good. And we would like to thank the stuff of the hotel- Delphine, Chloe, Florian and the fourth receptionist, we can't remember his name. They were so attentive to all our requests and solved all our problems at once.

The hotel was very nice with lovely decoration. It is also in a very good location just around the corner from the main street.

Our room was in an annex building a street down so not at the address indicated which is not a problem but something to be aware of. Also after 10pm the front door is closed and you have to ring reception to gain access to the hotel which is a bit outdated, maybe having a system that allows guest to open the room with their card keys would be better.
