Superb central location, nice friendly welcome upon arrival, sufficient breakfast and "feel like home" atmosphere. We had a very nice and big quiet room with very comfortable bed (careful if you are not used to use the toilet infront of your roommate as there is only a transparent glass panel between the room and the bathroom 😅). - there is no television in the room (that hasn't bothered us at all as we spent most of the time outside), but there is one in the communal area if really needed - the lodgement itself is located on the first floor in the apartment block and I didnt see any lift so be prepared for a little walk up the stairs - there is no parking - we parked in Place des Grandes Hommes which is only 5 minutes walk (we paid €35 for approx 30h parking) Overall we had really pleasant and comfortable stay. Thanks to our hosts for their hospitality.

Loved our stay here!! If I'm ever back in Bordeaux I will make sure to check if it's available. First of all the place is beautiful and very well kept. Julien (host) does an amazing in securing a comfortable stay and he even made of breakfast (pastries, jam, juice, coffee). The place is in the best location. You are right by the shops and countless of restaurants. I was happy every night to come back here and lay my head down. It felt like home and was really comfortable. Cleanliness is so important to me and it was outstanding. Thank you Julien!!

Had to keep the window closed or you would smell the cigarette smoke come in from the restaurant staff across the street.

Location was excellent and a very attentive and helpful host. The place was spotless and breakfast was excellent. I loved that Julienne would change the time to accommodate us. We enjoyed the common living area at night where we could relax and work on emails.

Several (4) locked doors and sets of stairs leading to our room. The building is a few hundred years old so there was some noise but it has been remodelled nicely inside. A TV would have been nice for news in the evening. Look for a green door. There is no address but Julienne was kindly waiting for us.

Unique. An amazing combination of the very old and the very new in the heart of central Bordeaux. And our host went out of his way to allow for an early arrival (by several hours) and our departure by taxi. Also, the location is superb! You can walk, and shop, and see the main attractions, and dine -- all within walking distance.

The B&B was quaint. Unusual. But you couldn't take that away without taking away the essence of this wonderful B&B. For example, the toilet/bathroom was "European" -- i.e. a part of the main room -- but beautifully renovated and spacious. Everything, really, was unusual and charming.

This is a real gem in the heart of Bordeaux city centre. Brilliant location for exploring the beautiful city - on foot or by tram (inexpensive and stops 5 mins walk) Julien is a superb host and was on hand each morning to serve the generous continental breakfast and help with any queries we had. His knowledge of all things local is more than enough for the keen tourist! The room was very comfortable with a large walk-in shower and plenty of space. Strongly recommended.

The property is not signed from the outside, although Julien was there to greet us on arrival. It would be tricky to find otherwise.

Nice clean room with comfortable bed, in a very good location close to the Cathedral.

Finding it was difficult. We found the building but there are no signs, and to start with we couldn't find the bell as the writing is completely faded. This needs to be addressed. When we did find the bell we had to ring three times. But when the host arrived he was very charming. Breakfast was basic but fine.

The first B&B stay in my trip and it was very pleasant. Not too many rooms in a lovely apartment in a great location near trams and walking to sightseeing areas and food and drink. Plenty of shopping options as well if that's your thing. Included breakfast was great to start the day and everyone friendly. Great sized room with bathroom with a very comfortable bed. Best nights sleep so far. .Great.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Our host ( and his staff) were very attentive and accommodating. Lovely common room for reading and relaxing.

The first view of the address is unusual-a very large door set into a blank wall. We weren’t sure we had the correct address. But when Julien opened the door and welcomed us, we were impressed!

The breakfast was generous and very good, served by a very obliging and friendly young lady. Nothing was too much trouble. The dining area was very clean and spacious. The building itself is a little quirky, and the bathroom had a modernised feel about it yet the room retained lots of old world character. A very nice ambiance. An underground carpark very close by.

The door locks are a bit clunky sometimes, and there was a musky smell in the stairwell. Had to be careful that the timed light switches didn’t cut off because the stairwell was pitch black. A single low wattage light which is constantly on would be helpful.

Super central to everywhere within walking distance & trams, buses close. Julienne our host was exceptional, great humour, provides a substantial breakfast, a bucketful of knowledge & extremely helpful with organising transport & taxis, very caring person.
