Excellent location. The room is on the small side, but given the location, who cares! Spent our first two nights in France here touring D-Day locations, it was great. Breakfast was amazing, loved the egg cooker, bread selection, and the self-serve cappacino machine (I want one) really lovely. You can walk all over Caen from this place. Parking all over Caen is tight, we got lucky and parked right in front of the bldg and fed the meter. Close to the castle. Staff were great too, recommended a nice restaurant for steak frites and dealt with my poor French too. We are not fussy travelers, it suited us fine! Excellent value.

Hotel was easy to find and we were able to check in earlier than advertised. Hotel is in a bland modern building but the location is ideal, very central. We'd booked Comfort double rooms but both had to change from the first rooms allocated - one because the toilet was so near the opposite wall, neither of us could sit down (both tall) and the other because the room was over a noisy extractor fan. Our room was very big but with surprisingly little storage for the size - however, enormous and very comfy bed, bathroom was lovely, everything was clean and it was very quiet. Kettle in the room is always a bonus. We really enjoyed our stay.

Didn't have breakfast as 13 euros per person seemed expensive. Our room wasn't made up on the 2nd night, despite leaving a sign on the door asking for it to be done, and reception didn't seem particularly bothered about this, no apology and extra tea/coffee given begrudgingly.

The room was clean and comfortable and perfect for what we needed. We were a family of 4 and they had managed to put in two single beds for the children. To be honest we were only there for a one night stay to get the early morning ferry so didn’t stay in the room for very long. The hotel is very central and there are plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away. The hotel very kindly let us eat breakfast early so we catch the ferry and it did not disappoint. Everything fresh and well laid out and thought through. You could even have a boiled egg! Delicious pastries, bread and cereals.

No air conditioning. It was rather warm in the room.

The location of the hotel is quite close to the city center. The staff was very friendly and available. The room was big and comfortable. A fan was useful for the room climatization.

The room was very good acoustic insulated and no air conditioning was present. The breakfast could be a bit improved.

The location was perfect to visit Caen. The Castle car park was easy to access and reasonably priced We liked the warm and friendly welcome The room and bed were very comfortable and nothing was missing We had breakfast on the second morning; it was really good value for money and there was an excellent choice of options.

Nice, modern, clean. Friendly staff. Great location near to castle and the old quarter. Comfortable room.

Very minor points, the rear facing room had some noise from the buildings behind and the toilet was rather cramped.

The breakfasts were good. Especially liked the boiled egg cooker which provided a lot of flexibility.

The lighting in the room was inadequate. Regulating the temperature in the room was difficult.

The staff were wonderful , breakfast was delicious.location was excellent.

The hotel is dark and carpet is worn .There is no a/c but the staff did give us a fan .The lift is very small and doesn’t stop on all floors.

Room was super comfortable with a balcony, a TV with a wide selection of channels and a super modern, spacious and clean bathroom. Teas and coffees supplied in the room with a reasonably sized desk.

Breakfast option was a little limited for a vegan, for the price.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed one night on our way back to ferry port so checked out very early. Our family of four given a big room with a large double bed and two singles. On street parking close to hotel was very affordable. Central location of hotel was great.
