We stayed here the night before our ferry back to Ireland. This is an excellent hotel, there was 3 of us booked and we ended up in a bedroom for 4, with two separate areas which was a great surprise. The hotel is spotless, and the breakfast was ample. It was excellent value for money! There was free parking outside. We stayed in the "budget" side, but were able to use the bar in the "non budget side", which had a little kids area which colouring etc.. so we could enjoy a pint while our daughter played. There is a restaurant onsite but if it doesn't suit there is a Mc Donalds, Burger King and Buffalo Grill local. The location is excellent, as you are right on the ring road to the ferry 15 mins away. It is also beside WBS Cherbourg for filling up on wine before the ferry home.

The staff had a very poor level of English, both at check in and in the bar, it was difficult to communicate even basics such as where our room was, if we had paid or not, and even ordering 2 pints was difficult. For a hotel frequented by a lot by people coming and going for ferrys from Ireland/England I would expect a better standard of English. however it would not put me off and I would book again if required.

We stayed for 1 night before catching the ferry home. It was ideally located for the port with free parking. The budget hotel was very clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and had a decent shower. We had the breakfast and it was good. We ate our evening meal in the more upmarket ibis next door and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend for a stop over!

The only fault was the divider screen in our bedroom wouldnt pull across as the runner was broken. This proved awkward for our teenager daughter however as we were only there for the 1 night, we improvised with hooking it across as best we could to give her privacy when showering and changing. ( the shower cubicle is in the room not in a separate bathroom). Apart from that, all was good

The room was a lot better than the last one we stayed at here. Bigger and more comfy. And our car was parked right outside our window! Staff are lovely, and really helpful.

Breakfast isn't great to be honest. The breakfast room is too small and there isn't enough space for everyone. I was getting a coffee, and there was quite a queue behind me waiting for orange juice and coffee. No croissants and very little bread, but when I went back in about 10 mins the baskets were full. More space needed definitely.

Really clean and good value . Really good WiFi and air con available. Adequate breakfast.Good parking and convenient for ferry. Fast food outlet immediately outside no need to take life in hands crossing a busy dual carriageway as is common.

We were prepared for breakfast rush but might help to have two coffee machines or aisles

The room was comfortable and well planned with separate shower and wc. It had wonderful dado rail lighting with easy controls from the bed. The breakfast was much better than we expected of a budget hotel. There was ample secure parking.

Perhaps the space at the bottom of the bed was a little tight.

Plenty of parking, friendly staff, excellent food in the restaurant, reasonable breakfast. Large bed was comfortable but the third bed in the room turned out to be a bunk over thr main bed- very odd! And a health hazard, my fiancee hit her head on it several times.

Only problem we had was that googlemaps has a spurious location for tge hotel- some 50minutes away from where it is- wierfly it also says “permanently closed”. Unfortunately we couldn’t get through on the phone to thr hotel so ended up wasting time going there, at the end of a long days driving. The hotel staff were shown the problem so hopefully it will get fixed.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the ferry port, and also major routes out of the city. It was in an area like an industrial park, with a large supermarket and McDonalds in close proximity. The hotel had locked security gates, making it very safe and with my pet, there was space to walk around on grass surrounding the building to go to bathroom. At 3/4am a well lit area is reassuring. The staff were very friendly, and checkin and out were easy. I would suggest a box or option to take breakfast away, would have been more convenient for me with dog. Shower had lots of hot water, also soap/shampoo provided was good quality. Plenty of towels and toilet paper.The the room was efficient and neatly laid out and the bed very comfortable. My dog was very relaxed and there was no noise to disturb us. Overall place was clean and well kept and a very pleasant experience

Duvet was warm, perhaps option of a lighter duvet and blankets, but room was warm without it. Breakfast was challenging with my dog, so a way to take the items with me to my room or away on journey would have been good.

Really great location for access to ferry, we stayed overnight after a long drive, loved the 12 check out. The hotel is close to a decent sized shopping centre with an Auchan hyper so useful for last minute bits and pieces. 2 minute drive from the Wine and Beer Supermarket !

Air con, bed surprisingly comfortable for a IBIS Budget hotel. Plus there was a restaurant next door in Ibis Hotel.

Staff weren't exactly helpful.. Really only had time for French speaking people. Check out states up to noon, yet cleaning staff knocking on the door at 9am

Issues with electrical car charging, we picked the property for the chargers and as they were in the middle of upgrading them, they were not working .
