The breakfast was AWESOME! I have been to several different hotels in Colmar, but here the breakfast was exceptional! The room was always clean (we have been to this hotel few times) There was plenty of space in the room and the bed was comfortable. There was the possibility of private parking (for a fee), but around (close to the hotel) is sometimes difficult to find a place to stay (if you want to walk 10/15 minutes you can find a good place!). To the old city center is very close by foot, the same with good restaurants (15/20 min by foot).

The only thing I didn't like was the office/laptop space, where there is not much room to work, even a laptop is difficult to fit (but other hotels had the same problem). There was an extra sofa and table in my room, but I don't like to work sitting so low (not on a chair).

Clean, helpful staff and good atmosphere. The small bar next to the reception serves drinks and foods, even local traditional selections in quite fair price, and you can take it to your room! Since I was too tired at night to take a long time at the very busy restaurants this service helped me a lot. There's no kiosk, supermarket, or takeaway food shop around. The double bed room was bigger than usual hotel rooms and was quiet. Walking distance from both the old town (10min) and the train station (17min). For parents, there is a kids space between the reception/lobby and the breakfast cafeteria ;) Next time I'll come back with my family.

I found the breakfast was a little bit overpriced for the quality of coffee and also for the amount of food. Until 8 AM I could enjoy the breakfast comfortably without a crowd. The bed was one of the hardest beds I used ever.

This hotel is ideally situated in Colmar, a few minutes walk from the Old Town but on a quiet side street, away from the endless throngs of tourists. The staff is stellar: everybody is helpful, polite and doing their best to accommodate. There is a parking underneath the hotel with in and our privileges, at a very reasonable daily rate. All the common areas and the rooms are sparkling clean. There is a wonderful breakfast available in the morning. We also loved the little outside terrace with tables and umbrellas where one could relax or even bring out food from all the fantastic nearby food stores. The small lobby had several cosy sitting areas and a little friendly drinks and espresso bar. A great place to hang out in the evening.

The bathroom facilities had a separate bathroom and a toilet but the section with the toilet had no sink to wash the hands. The modern and clean bathroom had a short shower partition that could not keep all the water inside the shower stall.

This place was great! There were 7 of us with three rooms. The queen room with an extra bed was perfect for our daughter/son in law and their son. The rooms were clean and modern, the shower was wonderful and the air conditioning was much appreciated after a very hot day out in town. The hotel is located very close to the downtown and river (even for someone with limited mobility) so no need to move your car from the garage. Be sure to reserve a spot. We had an 8-passenger van and they had spots to accommodate us. We would definitely stay here again!

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

Rooms near the city center of Colmar (10 minute walk), hotel with elevator. Air conditioning worked great and was already on when we entered our room. Shower had good water pressure. Staff was great, I spoke with them in English and French and service was the same. We were having an issue with our rental car, and so were in the parking too late and hanging out in the lobby for hours (waiting for a tow truck... then another...). Staff were very understanding of our situation, and we were able to leave on the day of our check-out, just several hours later than check-out.

Parking is an extra fee.

Do you want to spend a lot of time in your room? Yes: go somewhere else. If your hotel is to sleep safely, search no further. Rooms are new and clean, hotel looks freshly updated. They are simple, and as good as you can expect from a 3 star hotel. Location is perfect; air conditioning worked; staff was friendly and efficient (spoke English and German as well). Extra blanket? Matter of a few minutes. Parking is safe as well and can be pre-booked and costs 14 a day.

I knew what I was looking for and didn't have any negative experiences.

Lovely staff, good location easy walk into Colmar centre. Excellent parking garage with dedicated spaces. A couple of reasons we marked it down, there was no fridge in the room. Would have been nice in the heat to be able to chill drinks etc. also the shower screen leaked and had obviously done so for some time, making it difficult not to soak the floor when showering. We reported. It, so hopefully they will have fixed the problem.

The tea/coffee offering in the room was poor quality. Lack of fridge.

It is a fine hotel, obviously renovated inside. We had a pretty spacious room with a large bathroom. Located to the inner garden, completly calm. Lift new as well as the bright garage. Staff friendly and competent. Buffet-Breakfast, delicious. The building is only about 500 meters away from Petite Venice which is the center. And not to forget: Despite we were so near to the center of Colmar, we could easily go outside to the surroundings by car. No need to pass the city center.

No, everything was fine.

Staff were outstanding...we arrived way early for check-in and my wife was sick with fever. They found us a room and got her to bed in 5 minutes! Hotel location is 10 minute walk to main old area. Hotel is spotlessly clean, located 1/2 block from pharmacy, bakery located next door, great onsite breakfast... couldn't be better! They also gave us a Christmas Present when we checked out! KUDOS to Hotel Turenne!

Very comfortable rooms, great location, just a few minutes walk from the heart of the old town but just removed enough to avoid all the noise. Parking was very convenient, with elevators from your assigned space right to the hotel. Breakfast was good and as a super bonus they offered loose leaf tea and proper infusers which we greatly appreciated!

Nothing really. The rooms were small, which is typical for French hotels. A mini fridge in the room would have been nice.
