Relais & Châteaux La Maison Des Têtes is a beautiful holiday place. The staff do everything to make you feel welcome. Nothing is left to chance, and you feel treated like royalty and at the same time part of the family. It is difficult to single out a few because the staff, from reception to waiters to the cleaning staff, is generally fantastic. The hotel and its facilities are worth highlighting. There is EVERYTHING you need and even more. We visited both the brasserie and the gourmet restaurant, and they both lived fully up to our expectations and the great reviews they received. We have visited far more than one hundred hotels over the years, and Relais & Châteaux La Maison Des Têtes is one of the few we will always remember.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Excellent Room made better by quality service for the room, for reception and for breakfast. Varied breakfast with first class, freshly cooked egg options backed up by charcouterie, fruit and bread. Located inside the old town with excellent access to the main attractions. The building itself was a very old town house that had been modernised with great care but without losing the character.

No bar for a lunchtime or evening drink and restaurant only open 4 days a week, plenty of other restaurants within 5 minutes walk however.

Parking Access: The entrance to the parking lot is narrow, which can make it somewhat inconvenient to use a car. 3. Lack of Facilities: The hotel does not have facilities such as a swimming pool or spa, which might be a drawback for families or guests with children. Our breakfast was delightful every morning and the service was exceptional, along with the food! Our last morning we had an early departure to catch a flight, and the kitchen packed up a wonderful assortment of fruit charcuterie and bread, even butter ready to travel with us. The room offered good space and we appreciated the separate toilet and bathtub, and my son absolutely loved his loft. Super soft carpet and very comfy beds with no road noise even in our street facing room. The front desk was always staffed by someone so helpful- from our late arrival after hours to arranging our car service to the airport. Lastly, Colmar is a fantastic location to visit many other charming, though far smaller, Alsatian towns. Would absolutely return to Maison des Tetes!

Would have preferred a shower and walled in space in lieu of an open bathtub with the handheld nozzle.

• Although I knew that the tap water is quite drinkable, I did not want to drink water from the bathroom. Maybe a new bottle of (complimentary) still water could be delivered to the rooms with an evening service.

Beautiful and super well cared! Accommodations are comfortable, shower is great! Lovely staff! Great food! All was perfect to details! All staff super helpful !! It was great stay and I will surely be back ! Thank you for such great time!

Absolutely nothing to change! It is a well cared historical place , that respects origin and cultural background and still able to become modern to comfort the guest

Wonderful experience in an amazing building Staff were all very attentive and friendly -nit stuffy at all. The two ladies at breakfast deserve special mention. They even give you a doggy bag for any breakfast you don’t eat and a cake too!

Nothing except restaurants don’t open Sunday or Monday which was a shame but there are many very good places to eat including good Alsace options

The mattress was full of holes and not comfortable even after turning it. Not a five star hotel worthy. Room 103 was just above entrance restaurant at the patio and this was a smokers location. Therefore not able to open windows of our room

Outstanding hotel and services are impeccable. The staff were professional and exceptionally friendly. If we ever would go back we would definitely stay there again. Our stay there was so enjoyable and memorable.

There was nothing we did not like about the property. It’s one-of-a-kind!

The rooms are fantastic! they have done an amazing job to preserve the historical building. the entrance is also fantastic.

Both of the Michelin Restaurants were closed during our stay (Sundays and Mondays). Maybe it would be better if they could close some days one of the two restaurants and on others days the second one, but you pay and expect a Relais and Châteaux and having both restaurants closed during two days is disappointing.
