Excellent option in Colmar, extremely well located. It's a very nice hotel, incredible breakfast. I'd recommend it to make it your base to visit not only Colmar but other small towns, castles, winerys and attractions in Alsace

The bed was a little bit small and not extremely comfotable. Our room was one floor up with no elevator, not a problem for us, but maybe for some, however the staff was very friendly and eager to help. Parking in the area is tricky, we were lucky to find and empty spot on the street with metered parking. Otherwise you need to pay for a more expensive parking.

The hotel was in a great location, right next to Colmar's prettiest areas. The hotel is an old building, with lots of stairs ups and downs, although it does have a lift to get you to the main floors. Rooms are not large and decorated in an eclectic style. However the staff are great, very knowledgeable and so attentive. the really know their restaurant and their food. A huge bonus.

The hotel bar could have had more local beers, wines etc. The focus seemed to be on the more commercial side. It would have been nice to have tasted some local beers and wines. Parking was 25 euros per night, but was not at the hotel, it was in an open parking space in the main street. So a bit overpriced for unsecured parking.

Location and style of hotel and restaurant.

We reserved a parking spot but it wasn't until we arrived that we found it was not on site and was a 7 minute walk away. It would have been helpful to know in advance, also fortunately we removed most of our overnight luggage outside the hotel to leave in reception until we had parked. Thank goodness, because we would not have liked to trundle our cases through the streets! In future, I think the receptionist should warn travellers to do so. However, overall we enjoyed our stay but would just have liked to have been prepared.

The location was great. Very nice sized rooms. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bar was nice, the bar man was a nice man, very chatty and knowledgeable. The bathroom was huge and the jacuzzi bath was lovely. The staff seemed very nice too. The rooms were very warm and cosy. For it being an old building, the hotel was very clean.

There was no conditioner with the toiletries in the bathroom. There was no milk to go with the coffee machine. We were not told where anything was in the hotel, so we were unable to access the terrace like you can see in the pictures. The breakfast we did not try as on booking.com it was £10 each but at the hotel if you did not book it through booking.com it was £20 each! We did not have dinner at the hotel as there were no chicken options.

The location was perfect and easy to walk to all the attractions. The breakfast was great and the rooms were beautifully unique. This hotel had a little bar in the front with the coolest bartender who served us amazing drinks. He was awesome!!! Then the hotel has a phenomenal restaurant that I would highly recommend. The food was delicious. Rooms were very beautiful and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and this hotel might have been my favorite during our Euro trip.

I have no complaints. We really loved this hotel.

Fantastic location on the river in Little Venice. We opened our windows to watch the quiet parade of gondolas pass by. Very large room. The main hotel is charming. Fantastic champagne buffet breakfast. Did I mention location? 😊

We were unexpectedly in an annex building right next door. The entry and stairs to the second floor felt more industrial than charming. The apartment size was fantastic, but again not as charming as the main part of the hotel. This was the only hotel in our three weeks in France with staff who felt…a bit cold.

Hotel was beautiful, in a great location, staff were always very friendly, and the fresh breakfast was wonderful and reasonably priced.

My room was on the fourth floor. Elevator only goes to the 3rd floor, and then I needed to carry my bags up another set of stairs, down a long hall way and then up a spiral staircase to the attic. It was very tight and quite dangerous carrying bags up that flight of stairs. Additionally, I had dinner at the restaurant one night. The food was quite delicious. However the portions were very small and the everything was overpriced for quality and quantity.

What did I like about the hotel?!!! EVERYTHING!!!!!! This was the absolute highlight of our entire three week trip from London and San Sebastián to colmar to lauterbrunnen, Murren and Zurich. We DID NOT want to leave. We had the little apartment in the annex and it was SO COMFORTABLE and QUAINT! I almost don’t even want to say this so it’s not booked solid when I return. And I sure will return.

Nothing. Everything was spectacular

Beautiful hotel & restaurant with a view. The breakfast is definitely worth the cost per day with a variety of food, juice, and coffee/tea options. Dinner was a bit pricey but worth the splurge for one night as all courses of the meal were fabulous! Trying the different local wines that the staff suggested for each course was worth every Euro! Very helpful and attentive staff. The room was quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. Although a small sized room, it didn't feel cramped or claustrophobic. Loved having the in-room espresso machine. Close proximity to the cute shops, bars, restaurants, and sites of Petite Venise. 15 min walk to train station but staff will arrange for taxi if you prefer to not make the walk with all your luggage (as there are limited taxis & no ride share options available).

The stairs were a bit windy & steep. Preferred to take the small elevator and then go up short amount of stairs to the room. May be a personal opinion because I am not a fan of spiral staircases. Also, the layout of the rooms vs. stairs could get confusing, and I found myself turned around the few times I did take the stairs.

Located just on the canal of "little Venice" of Cormar. Convenient for walking around the old town. Stayed in the triple room under the rooftop. Size is sufficient although sleep in the extra single bed is a little tight under the ceiling. Have to carry up the luggage but there is a small lift and the staff kindly gave hands.

Highly reputed restaurant, which we only had breakfast (very nice environment!). Please be careful that the restaurant is not open on Tuesday and Wedenesday for dinner. In general, it is a little challenging to find a nice dining in Cormar during high season. Parking is a little away from the premise. Eventually, my Audi A6 did not fit in the parking. However, public car park is available within 10 minutes walk and is infact cheaper than that chraged by hotel.
