Room is spacious and exceptionally clean. Electric black out blinds enable a great night's sleep. Airconditioning also works flawlessly and keeps the room at an ice cold temperature if you are a hot bodied person like myself. I have reviewed this place previously when I last stayed and there is nothing that can be faulted about this B&B - Monica, who runs it is an excellent host - I highly recommend staying here. Since I last stayed here, a new junction has been created off the peage which makes getting to this place much easier. Monica makes the best scrambled eggs for breakfast too!

If there was a league table for how a chambre d'hote should be, then this would be at the top! Everythying about this place exudes a level of quality only others could hope to match. The room is big and spacious, with a separate WC and shower room. The bed is of epic proportions and there was ample room for my large 2m size frame, if my partner was with me, she would also have been able to fit on the bed with room to spare. The room also comes with A/C, which at the time I visited was heaven, it was generally very hot and humid when I travelled and so having this was just a pleasure. The windows have electric shutters, so there was complete and utter darkness when sleeping! The TV is large, and it is a smart TV, so I could just login to my netflix account and chill out for the evening. If this wasn't enough, there is also a kitchen area to warm things up in a microwave or a small hob to cook plus a table in the middle of the kitchen area to sit down to eat - really, this place is amazing. All of this quality would not have been possible if it were not for the amazing host that speaks English/French/Spanish! The breakfast is downstairs and caters for all tastes, I was provided with an exceptional breakfast for which I was very grateful! If you stay here, you will absolutely not be disappointed.

checkin times are very strict - if it were raining, I would not have been happy if I had to wait in the rain as I was on my motorbike. There is absolutely nothing else that could be improved - the place is amazing.

The room was exceptionally clean and exactly as pictured in the photos. The bed was comfortable and the room was very large. The proprietor was pleasant and helpful and went out of her way to make the stay as nice as possible. The breakfast was simple but high-quality. I appreciated the nice conversation we had with the proprietor at breakfast—she is clearly someone who is passionate about providing a high quality experience to her guests.

There were quite a lot of posted placards and books of rules for the property that at first seemed a bit unwelcoming, but upon speaking with the proprietor, we learned about the kind of impolite and totally inappropriate behavior of many guests who had stayed there. This is a pity, because these kind people are sharing their home and providing excellent service, and clearly they were not being respected by many guests. I hope future guests are more appreciative of the work it takes to make such a nice B&B. Certainly in the sea of truly HORRIBLE French hotels, this is an oasis!

This B&B is a wonderful place to stay. Located near to main roads and close to shops and cafes/restaurants. The owners were lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional - very modern decor and an extremely good size. Superking size bed, separate toilet and bathroom (both of which were very, very clean), breakfast was super with cereals, fresh breads and croissants, jams, yoghurts, orange juice and lots of coffee. Plenty of car parking available. I can't praise this place enough - it was superb.

From the welcome to the farewell we couldn’t have been better looked after. Monica was charming, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble to make us welcome and our stay as comfortable as possible. A truly lovely lady… the room was spotlessly clean, the room spacious and comfortable, everything you could need… a fabulous breakfast finished the stay perfectly… thank you!!

Large room. Very clean. Good shower. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Kitchen area was useful with a fridge. Attentive host. Nice continental breakfast. This was a lovely place to stay for an overnight stop on a road trip. Stress free and relaxing. There is a farm shop next door where we bought locally made provisions to take back and have a picnic in the garden

This is a first class B&B and we would highly recommend it. Monica runs a tight ship to ensure the high standards are kept. We were given a warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Everywhere inside the house was immaculate. If you get the chance to have a chat (and she has the time) Monica has a very interesting back story!

Comfortable, quiet, spacious room with modern facilities. Kind host, informative and very much aware of sustainability/recycling, highly appreciated. Excellent location when coming from or going to the Val-de-Loire on your way to/from Paris.

As in many rooms in France, there is no air condition, so you may have to keep the windows closed to avoid flies. A net outside the window would be helpful.

Forget the those auto routes hotels. Cheap and unpersonal. Just a 10 minutes drive from the autoroute you can find something much better. I visted Chambers d’hôtes Gidy on my way from NL to the south of France in July 2022. Just half way. Very spacious and very clean rooms. I was really surprised when I entered it. Mrs Perdereau is a very kind host . I really appreciated her kindness. And you all know; it is a chambres d’hôtes. It is not a hotel. highly recommended

A very welcoming host. A quiet area and secure on site parking. A comfortable bed in a spacious and modern bedroom. Lovely hot shower. Greeted with a wonderful continental breakfast next morning. Also a communal kitchen area with microwave, sink and table and chairs.
