The chateaux is tucked away in the countryside, the owner and heir is the host who us very welcoming, we only stayed one night but we had a wonderful home cooked evening meal with wine from their son’s vineyard & a lovely breakfast, with home made jams, they were very accommodating and met my dietary needs. We stayed in the 14th century tower which is a suite it has a Modern bathroom, the main bedroom had beautiful tapestry, which added to the charm, the bed is comfortable and we slept very well.

No TV , not that it bothered us, had a wonderful walk around the grounds and village, maybe think twice if stopping in the winter no double glazing might be a touch drafty.

You are staying in a room located in the turret which used to be part of the oldest part of the 14th-century castle. Jean and Marie are super welcoming hosts, and their family has owned the castle for almost 200 years (crazy, huh?..). While, obviously, the interior reflects the rich history of the place, the room had everything we needed: - a relatively modern bathroom with all necessary amenities - complimentary drinks (water, juice, coffee/tea). - comfy double bed The (optional, for an additional fee) dinner was amazing and truly incredible: you don't get to have a candlelight dinner in a kitchen of a medieval castle. Breakfast was great too, with some typical local French products and fresh berries (strawberries, cherries) from the garden. TL;DR: if you are into 'experience-driven' stays - look no further.

Can't think of anything. It's a truly special place, not a run-of-the-mill accommodation.

A unique experience to sleep in a beautiful room adorned with a tapestry in a 14th century turret of a wonderful French Chateau. The owners are absolutely delightful and couldn’t do enough for us. They cooked us a fabulous supper with delicious wine. Breakfast was superb.

We loved everything about our stay!

Beautiful historic chateau. We were welcomed by the owners whose family have lived there for hundreds of years. We stayed in a lovely room in the round turret - comfortable bed + modern bathroom with a lovely shower. We had pre-booked dinner and had an excellent home cooked meal with wine - served in our own little baronial hall. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful with home made jams and fruit grown on the estate. We enjoyed staying in such an original and different place and would recommend it.

Nothing, it was lovely.

A beautiful chateau run by the owners with a friendly charm. They were very helpful and provided plates, wine glasses etc so we could picnic in the grounds on arrival.

It is very quiet and there are no facilities in the village so some might find it a bit isolated?

One of the most perfect stays in an almost Disney-esque location. The Chateau is a gem tucked away in a isolated location that is perfect for walks through the estate woods. Everyone here was very cordial and even my ‘petit Francais’ and half English was enough for us to have a lovely conversation. My favourite ever stay in France (and I visit several times a year) - cannot recommend it highly enough.

There was nothing not to like - the chateau is going through some upgrades and refurbishment that is to be expected of a building of this age, which proved no problem to us whatsoever.

Loved this place. The owner looked after us really well and were very welcoming. The room was old worldly and in a tower. The dinner was very nice and prepared by the owners of the chateaux. Would definitely go again.

Breakfast was very nice, with local jam. The landlord asked us what we would like for breakfast. They try to accommodate if possible. We were staying in an old castle whit the charm of it, no grand luxury. No WIFI no TV but that was fine for us. Bottle of water and juice at the room included. Owners are a charm to talk with. We also liked the dinner menu.
