Corin was a wonderful host, so friendly and helpful and flexible. The instructions for access to the property, sent in advance, were very good. We arrived early, around noon, just to park our car, but the room was ready too. The buffet breakfast was excellent by "continental breakfast" standards - including cold meats, cheeses, cereal, yogurt, cake. The house was originally Corin's family home, with the lower floor now converted to accommodate guests. It has a lovely old quirky feel to it. It is a short walk to a metro station giving quick access to the old city.

Clear communication before arrival and a warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel. The room was perfect for our overnight stay before continuing our journey. We were able to park our car inside the gate and walk to the metro to reach the old city center for dinner. Breakfast, included in our stay, was enjoyed on the porch. Due to the building's age, AC is not available in the rooms. While alternative options are provided, we chose to keep the window open at night to cool down the room.

Perfect for a short stay! But not enough storage for clothing and suitcase for a longer stay.

Immaculately clean. Easy to walk to from train station. Charming , breakfast included and Corin was an unparalleled host . He is personable, professional, kind , patient , informative , and absolute charm . I can not say enough good things or thank him enough . Wonderful stay , it’s now in my favorites and I would go back in a heartbeat !

Félix dOrt was perfect for our overnight stay in Lyon. The owner was very welcoming, helpful and generous. We enjoyed the simple help-yourself breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, bread and cheese in the small, charming breakfast room. We were pleased that there was a kettle provided in the breakfast room. Our room was also quite charming, spacious and comfortable. We liked the private garden view from our room. It’s an easy 20 min walk with luggage from Lyon Part Dieu Station.

The host was very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the simple, French breakfast provided. The host asked my preference for a morning pastry (i.e., pain au chocolat, croissant), and drinks, baguette, yogurt, fruits, and other items were available as well. The room was comfortable and the neighborhood was central - close to Gare de Lyon Part Dieu and a short walk to the main touristic areas. I enjoyed being in a neighborhood which felt like an authentic Lyonnaise community.

Front gate on arrival not very welcoming- once you had the code it worked fine. Circular bed not practical or very comfortable- no bed head or phone charging nearby (on reflection bad choice of room)

This hotel was a nice surprise. Room was very nice, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was great. Kitchen next door had a little conservatory attached. Manager was very helpful and friendly. Despite busy street outside, our room was quiet and peaceful. It was only a 15-20 minute walk into the city and river.

The top two floors of the building are residential so there was a bit of noise early in the mornings. I would have liked a kettle in the kitchen area for making tea and coffee, but that's just me.

Very friendly staff, helped us when we were very tired after a long flight. Quirky hotel, very small, more interesting than staying in a big bland hotel. Great shower. Location was good, Lyon is easy to get around using public transport. Closest station was an easy 5 or 10 minute walk.

Some other reviewers said the breakfast was amazing. It was OK, not amazing. Breakfast room is small and awkward, really only one person can use it at time. But the food was fine.

The house and rooms are really cute. The concept is friendly.

The confort of the bed was not as great. Mattress was sinking and the pillow way too low not fluffy and no other option in the room

Wonderful welcome, very helpful with parking and resturant tips. Great location, 10 min walk into central Lyon and the river. A simple location that is super comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly French and the glass conservatory was a bonus.
